Nice trip away searching for geocaches. Found this cache fairly quickly. Very good walk up the hill - track in good order. SL Left GC TFTC

Took a walk up the hill today to stretch the legs. Easily found now that I have a gps that works under trees.
On a walk up here not so long ago we had 3 deer run across the track in front of us right by this spot.

A really nice walk to this cache says Mrs W.E.K.A. although Mr W.E.K.A. begs to differ, claiming he was exhausted by the climb. No sympathy, as it was good for him Smile

The cache container came from our home stomping ground!, We live under the mast, & use that hill track weekly. Happened to be staying at hot pools, once we found the track head through the paddock it was plain sailing. That's is a solid climb up tho!, [^] Managed to pick up all three caches on route & returned back via track to pools & a beer just on an hour. Great views on way!! TFTC Cheers Muzy Man! on the hunt with the ever keen JumboZ! Big Grin

Had a bit of time this afternoon so took the dog for a walk up the hill. It's great to see some caches up here again & I've been meaning to come & look for these for some time. Unfortunately my GPS lost its way some 150 meters away which didn't give me much chance of finding the cache. Never mind on up the hill we went.

Consolation prize was finding the (container minus lid) of my "Lathams Track" cache which went AWOL some years ago. Just laying out in the paddock it was.. been past here many times & had never seen it there.

Humidity close to 100% so plenty of sweating going on, so much so it was hard to keep the logbook dry.

Yes!! our very first FTF!! Big Grin It has been over 20 years since we did this walk to the trig, so was good excuse to stretch the legs and do it again. Didnt take too long to have the cache in our hands. Thanks for the FTF prize. Apart from that TNLN. Cheers
