Cache archived, great spot and a great walk but owner was never asked for permission....... sorry.
Enjoyed the walk up to the trig. Fantastic views up here and spent some time sitting on the seat. Cache is nicely covered but log sheet is quite damp. Gave it some air, but another visitor may like to bring a small silica gel pack or small plastic bag. SL TFTC

The views from here where amazing! the monkeys took lots of photos which i will get around to putting on here 
the walk to this point wasnt as hard as i first thought, was a little bit up hill but not to much the clues where a big help in finding the cache, very clever hiding place [^]

Hint was soon interpreted and cache was found. Triggy hide. View from the top worth the walk. NINO TFTC.

Great views this morning, & a nice little chug up-looking forward to the downhill. Found with the help of the clues- nice hide! TFTC
A great view. The day was fine, warm and clear. All the island outlines were sharp, including Mayor. Ingenious cache, maybe a little out-of-place.
What a great view from the top - well worth the walk. The cache was quickly and easily found.

Spotted the trig on the in to Whakatane, thought it must be the one an as we had planned camping at Awakeri hot pools for the night thought this would be a good diversion, little did we no the track acutely started there, Perfect!!

The area around the trig has been cleared by scrub cutters, and the trig has had a fresh paint job. Cache was still secure. TFTC
Having received a call from Sniffter this morning about the sudden unexplained disappearance of this cache (leaving only its shell) we dropped by and replaced the cache - not quite the same as the previous but still a camo'd micro which will hopefully remain in place.

sniffter and daughter, afternoon climb. 3rd find, got 2 on the way up. found it but didn`t, the cache had slipped. phone geckoh and they will replace shortly. great place have been here several times, was to be a place to set a cache myself. if this walk is done at dark you can see a wall of glow worms, but remember to keep the noise and lights to a minimum. thanks for the cache.
Instinct told me where to look, but decided to check the clue before wading in there. Instinct was right. Great views from up here, made it in under an hour including finding the other two.

Made it to the top, FTF easy find and great views again. Lived here for over 25 years and this was the first time I've been here............Is worth the walk, the boys walked up and down without any problems. Thanks
