This hasn't been found for a year and the owner has ignored needs maintenance requests.
No find here...adding to the growing list of DNFs. Might need a maintenance check.
S 40° 58.870 E 147° 23.045
The original coordinates and the suggested correct ones by finders are about 33 metres apart, so this needs checking by the CO; plus the cache has not been found since March; almost nine months. I think this will be the third 'Needs Maintenance' request for this cache. CO really needs to check both the cache and the coordinates.

I used the corrected coordinates suggested by others, but poke and prod as much as I could among the thick undergrowth, I couldn't find the cache. The undergrowth is VERY thick and unyielding in that area.

Had a thorough search at the coords and was a dnf. Maybe one day we will free return to search again.
A little bit of single-track on the geo-cycle MTB from Mermaid's Lookout (the previous cache), then a fast, slightly downhill run on the gravel to the cache location had me ready for the find. Fortunately the last cache finder had logged that co-ordinates need an update and I was able to go to the correct location for GZ. The hunt was paused as dog-walking muggles arrived at the car park from both the dog exercise area and the road on their way to the exercise area. Fortunately one of them assumed I was in a strange position as I was taking a photograph and apologised for getting into my viewfinder - I did not correct him. Lots of hiding places here, but after a bit of a search the cache was in hand. I added a robot stamp the collection of swaps and left my calling card. Took nothing, signed log. A good hide flange 1&tribe and it was appreciated.
We DNF'd here back in 2014 but then discovered the cache had been relocated. Came back with updated coords as per FelixII & Angus88 logs for a quick find. It does help when you look in the right spot!
Wowsers. All I can say is what an epic search that turned out to be. Whilst the family was fishing off the rocks I thought I'd find this one. After walking away and coming back 3 times I was lucky not to be bitten by an army of jack jumpers. It was then that I spied what could be the possible location....yay...happy dance! SL@1810 hours TFTC. Left TB
Found and all in good order but..... About 40 metres away from the advertised coordinates. Refer to earlier entry by Felix II.
Tftc! Made a night time adventure of it, after a late dinner and armed with Dutch courage and some mission impossible theme tunes we waged war against the local bull ants we attempted to liberate the cache from its hidey hole. After a few too many bites and a lack of torches we took a tactical retreat for sleep and to rest our food belly's. Came back in the morning and used the new coordinates left by other geo-jungle hunters (-40N is the same as 40S) and found within 5
Loved the cache, great adventure !
Props to antman and eznu partners in crime

I used a previous finders coordinates to take me straight to the cache! Walked the scenic track back to Bridport. Beautiful views on this track!
Been out to this one several times now and can't find it! If this is a easy one, I'm not too good at this! Lol
Had a DNF on this one last summer.
Read through recent logs and found some more accurate coordinates from FelixII which lead to a quick find.

Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
After a couple of wet days it was nice to return to the sunny days we have become used to here in Tasmania.
A day trip up to Bridport, Weymouth and Bellingham saw some lovely beaches and interesting areas.
This cache was located at S40 58.870 E147 23.045

Camping at Bridport and decided to get a couple of caches. Co Ords to this one are approximately 40meters out.

Thank goodness we found it. We were getting disheartened! New coords got us to GZ with '5 m to go'. Didn't think we'd have to Bush bash, and luckily we were right. Ended up parking right beside it without knowing!
We had to wait for muggles that had parked almost on top of it to move. Once the coast was clear we swooped and quickly signed the log but before we could return it a van came in. Fortunately he parked at the start of the walking tracks - I think the proper gz area, so we were safe to replace it . TFTC
took a while to find and was worried about spiders and snakes. Thought it was a bit dangerous and looked at other posts only to discover it had been moved- as the previous log said. The pen or pencil has gone and didn't have one small enough to fit in. My mother in law found it- she came for a walk with me and got really excited when she found it. (At age 80!)
We were camping at Bridport with our friends for 4 nights. When we were walking along the road to find this cache a white cockatoo flew over our head and landed in a tree and then said hello, he continue to follow us as we made our way to GZ. After a little searching we had the cache in hand.TFTC. We really enjoyed the walk with our new feathered friend.
Thankyou far from grey for telling me about the updated co ords. Wouldn't of found it otherwise. TFTC
#2913 - 18:50; After unsuccessful attempts to locate this cache on my previous two visits, I was a little more optimistic this time around after checking recent logs. Made my way to the general area of GZ and using the updated coords and hint made a quick find. TFTC flange_1&tribe and especially Angus 88 for the replacement
Took half an hour and was quite challenging to find. New instructions helped. Cars parked in front didn't.
Indeed, cords no help so look at the logs (particularly the hollow log). Took a lady bug that looked like it wanted to travel.
Found with Hearse068, Zobo04 and Hearse068's geo child. It was a quick trip to tassie to do some sight seeing and geocaching. We had a great time in the 3 days that we had here. Started in Launceston made it to Swansee up to Bicheno, St Helens, Pyenganna, Bridport, George Town and back to Launceston. We found 50 odd caches in our time here and this was one of them. This was nearly a DNF for us as we did not realize it had been moved and the COORDS had not been updated. TFTC
Found with Gonefishen07, Zobo04 and my geo son on a quick trip to Tassie to do some sight seeing and some caching. We almost gave up on this one when GF07 noticed in logs that the cache had been moved. I was happy we were using phones and not GPS's as my GPS would not have loaded enough logs to see the new coords. This should be a quick find the coords need to be updated please. SL TFTC
Found with Gonefishen07, Hears068 and my cuz. We came to tassie for a quick trip. Sightseeing and caching on the menu. We had a great time while here and will hopefully be back soon. Thanks to those that placed caches to make our holiday fun. TFTC
How about updating coords on cache page please wasted to much time looking here in the wrong spot.
A quick find with the aid of past logs. A lovely quiet spot but very windy today. TFTC
I have replaced this cache. After 5 DNFs (and how many not logged?) this cache is obviously either MIA or totally overgrown. New location. Approx 35m from original GZ behind the end of a log about half way along the old log retaining wall. Log book, some mini swaps, two badges, no pencil. Please re-cover with leaf litter to ensure longevity as I am a traveller and cannot maintain. New co-ordinates on the day were S40 58.869 E147 23.041. Happy hunting. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.

Having the GPS batteries die as we hit GZ didn't help a lot and the spares were back at camp but we had a good rummage around and couldn't find it. maybe next time
Almost busted by dog walker muggle from one direction, and then tourists from the other. Busy area today. TFTC
We feared that we were going to be thrawted in our efforts to get this one by firstly the officials for the run that was happening and secondly the dog walkers. We went for a walk to the beach and luckily all muggles disappeared as we returned. T came up with the goods whilst the area was deserted. TFTC
took some time but got it in the end, not sure if this is meant to be its original location. TFTC flang 1&tribe
We looked and looked and then checked the past logs and looked again

Quick find with Justjessie on day 2 of our Tasmanian caching tour. The recent DNF's a are a bit of a mystery??
Found after a short search, however not sure if this is meant to be its original location. TFTC
Looked everywhere logical even near the 1hr 20min sign lots off possible spots but no luck
No could find ! Seemed like an obvious spot had been rummaged through...
Cadet camp! Thought Geskus and I would introduce the boys to some geocaching after a walk from the camp to Adam's where we played baseball on the beach. Thanks for this one. Found by one of the boys.
Found on the second attempt after a small hint from the owner. Thanks. Not sure how I missed it the first time! Nice spot next to the ocean here. Walked in a different way this morning.
It was in the first place that I looked, but I looked several other places before I went back to the first place and reached in better.

Took some finding but a good search with the billy lids doing the hard yards and it was in hand (bit soggy tho):D
A quick search soon had this one in hand. GPS was pretty well spot on. Cache is a bit damp, but there had been a lot of rain the previous night. Good views, another place we probably would not have been to, if it were not for caching. TFTC TN, left jet fighter plane.
Took 10 mins. To find correct large rock, good cache. Easy once you have correct path. Tftc.tnln.
Well I don't know about Swampy - I thought he would have found this one.....
We found this cache very quickly and from the logs it seems that it is either a quick find or no find at all. It is on coordinates and fairly well out there.
Cache is in good condition

DNF #2
If it supposed to be under the really big rock, hidden by a smaller rock, then its not.
I think a hint is in order as the place is starting to get trashed as everyone that attempts to find it and is unsuccesful will continue to trash it.

Ummmm very frustarting and after looking for quite a while and re-reading previous logs and then looking again, went away from here empty handed. There seem to be quite a few DNF's for this cache and you can add me to that list. Will try again next time I'm at this end of the state
Our Nemisis.....found! I think over the 4 trips out here we have looked for this one for about 2 and half hours. And it was in the place that we had looked, more than once, for some reason today we put our hand on it straight away! Any way this was a lovely place to come a visit, over and over again! Thanks Flange!
Well we donned the glove and prodded, poked and generally fossicked around with no luck whatsoever. No doubt it's there somewhere, but WHERE????
