Due to moving of the information centre, I am no longer able to place a cache there as it is too close to other caches in the area so I am archiving this one. Thanks to all the visitors.
Located 12 caches today in the south Wairarapa region, but this wasn’t one of them! Spent a few minutes looking for this one, but couldn’t find it. A bit too much in the “public arena” for my liking, so decided to move on after coming up empty-handed. Maybe another time, or maybe not!
18.30: On the way to town centre for dinner. This one we could not let go by. It was not as easy as expected. The coordinates seemed to be a bit off, so we looked for some time in the wrong places. We asked then the GPSr for the hint and we asked ourselves where we would hide one here... and so we got the little one. Well done!
Weather: still overcast, but the rain is finally gone, 15°C;
Wheelchair: no problem at all, can be very helpful;
State: all good.
Thank you!

Staying the night in Martinborough before heading to Wellington tomorrow by way of GC46. Great to dot the NZ map with a few finds to track our travels. TFTC
Nice and easy find while walking around the very quaint town. Thanks CO for the cache
We have hopped across the ditch from Melbourne to attend the WENZ Mega. This cache was found on our long weekend.
Thanks for placing Martinborough Information Centre (Wairarapa) so we could find it. Many thanks Yeetrees for the caching fun.

Day 2 of the Wellington Mega adventure with KJR and we are on our way to find and log a challenge cache series and this one was on the way a nice and easy park and grab.. TFTC
In Wellington for the Mega. Day #2 of our geocaching adventure and off to Martinborough to find some challenge caches with Gadget169. Nice quick find along the way. TFTC
GB Leader and I have spent today on a caching spree, starting in Featherston, then doing the triangle to Martinborough, Carterton and Greytown, and finally (as the wind starting really whipping up), back to Featherston. There were some really tricky and quirky caches around. Great fun! Final tally for the day: 23 finds (a new daily record for me), 3 DNF’s and one “not sure.”
Lots of muggles around, and a quick look in the obvious place turned up nothing. Oh well. #2 of 3 DNF's.

An enjoyable days outing over the hill today, starting in Martinborough then heading up towards Gladstone before making our way to the Kaiwhata Road gravel road trail. Then it was on up to Riversdale Beach and then making our way back to civilisation. 39 finds in total , plus 5 DNFs
We had stopped in Martinborough for breakfast and my wife had wanted to take photos of the murals, so after a short walk around we got back to the car when I realised that this was not far from where we parked, so I was able to start my finding for the day a bit earlier. A little hunting and I eventually got my hands on the cache. All good here. TFTC

Lots of cyclists. Caching with Sidewaze. My apologies for late logging, my thanks to CO for taking the time to place the cache and giving us the challenge of finding it. TFTC
It was funny here - - - there were people everywhere - - - but no-one was at all interested in what we were up to. What a busy place Martinborough can be on a Saturday morning!!!! Walking groups, cycling groups, lots of groups - - - cars, buses - - - . We found the cache, signed the log then made our way across the street for a delicious lunch. Thanks for the hide .
Too many muggles around. Came back to search in the plays but to no avail. Worries it’s us not the cache because we’re newbies
Day 13 of our NZ adventure. An early morning bike ride from our accommodation in town to grab a coffee & set about locating some caches. All found without any problems. Returned to our accommodation and set off with our friends to Cape Palliser. Climbed the steps to the lighthouse and nearly blown way. Admired the seals and then headed to Lake Ferry for a late lunch at the Hotel enjoying their famous fish and chips. This cache was the first pick up of the day and hint had us straight onto it.
Great clue! Well hidden but quick find. Cool day in the Rapa but great geocaching weather. TFCT.
Third stop on the way home from a fish-and-chips lunch, and a walk in the sunshine at Lake Ferry.
Nicely hidden but quickly found! Of the 8 finds today, this was one of just 3 that was dry enough to be properly written on.
We celebrated success here with coffee and the best date scone ever at Cafe OMG on the next corner. TFTC.

Found this one quick enough and time to eat, the young lady in the center gave me a great recommendation about 100 m back toward the square, time for food. TFTC!
Started to look for this one but then muggles arrived at the bike shop so had to leave it for another day.
An overnight stay in Martinborough en route to Wellington from Napier.
Cute little town.
Quick, easy find. Left Aussie boomerang keyring.

I took my youngest son up to Wellington in the camper van. I dropped him off at his friend's house where he will stay. Meanwhile I get to geocache and be on standby.
I stayed in Martinburough last night and will slowly head to a walk and back looking for geocaches.
After the last dnf I was pleased to find this one. Time to head back and do the dishes.

I was here for the bike race and thought I might pick some geocaches up while here. After looking around for 10 minutes was about to give up, but found it fortunately. It was easy and I don't know why it took so long. TFTC.
I spent two days in Martinborough in a house of my father's friends. We went fishing and swimming in the river and enjoyed the nice weather.
Today I took a little walk and found this cache quite quickly.
Thanks for hiding!

We are staying in Martinborough for a night or two and took a stroll from the camping ground into town for a meal this evening. The centre was closed, so no muggle worries for us as we searched. We initially thought it might have been muggled as there were a couple of loose stones with nothing beneath, but the we spotted the container safely tucked away nearby. Returned as found. Thanks for all the imformation about Martinborough. SL. TFTC.
After arriving in Martinborough we stopped for some coffee and some caches.
Some we did find but also there were two we could not find.
Although the lady of the I-office had spotted the cache more or less recently, we couldn't find it after a long search.

Thanks for the cache. It is good to get this one as I missed it on a previous trip to Martinbourgh.
Found this quickly using experienced stealth, wrote the log and re-concealed carefully.TFTC!
A serious geo caching day! Not so much about numbers but a dedicated pre planned set of caches covering a fairly large area and many of the caches were puzzle caches we had solved or had qualified for. . We travelled 400km, found about 70 caches and were out on the trail for 15hours, so it was a big serious day.
We left about 6.30am from Palmerston North and travelled thro to Masterton where were picked up out first puzzle cache. And then travelled down the back road towards Martinborough locating the 100 and 250 caches for a month -our main objective!. We stopped at Kokotau reserve for a late morning tea cum lunch but the cache here eluded us even with three searchers and a double look before and again after lunch. We replaced several skindo caches along the route with either new containers or water proof logs as so often they were soaking wet. We side tracked up several side roads for caches and we visited Stonehenge on the way. and then headed into Martinborough to initally look for the cache in the town square which had stumped geodatum earlier. As always PJMacNZ solved the retrieval of this cache and we then headed to the pub for a much earned break and tea with Devonshire scones Yummy! We then continued on our way towards home locating other caches in Martin borough and then on the back route up to Greytown to locate the Cobblestone museum cache which I have searched for on numerous occasions. PJM was able to find the Virtual cache there which was a plus for him. By the time we left Masterton it was starting to darken so we gave away the idea of locating the newer Eketahuna caches. They will wait for another day!.
It was a great day and combined effort by all three of us. Thank you to my partners and the Cos for these caches. Lots of smiley faces and project GC points to boot!!
#4620. I had a day of leave available and with a great weather forecast, decided a numbers trip to the Wairarapa was on the cards. My mission today was to pick up more solved puzzle finals. Also to mop up a few traditional outliers that seem to have been missed on days doing big caching runs. This one I had stopped for previously but soon realised after reading recent logs it was probably missing so gave up quickly. Today the cache was an instant find. Signed and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache Yeetrees.
Greetings from Australia, we were visiting some really good friends who we hadn't seen for 3 years, and also visiting the area to see if we could add some smiles we managed to try a few in the area, after a lovely tea with our friends we headed back to were we were staying and detoured here, we made the find in the dark and rain, even though we didn't manage all the local caches we do hope to return to add more smiles soon, log signed and replaced as found Thanks for the cache and the fun
Too the ferry from Picton last night, and spent the night in the thundering rain out there somewhere. And now it is about 6am Still dark outside, and I am here to study the map - looking for a public loo. Are there it is - Dammit I was just there! So went back, did the business and so... next cache. Back at the I-Site! Dammit I was just there! Took a while to find - a camper van showed up and threw me off my game. I must have looked real suspicious, rooting around in the dark. Anyway, dropped in an emerald.
We have been on holiday in party of 25 campervans with the Caravan Club from England and have tried to find at least one geocache in each place we have stopped - had a fair amount of luck and the map of New Zealand should show our journey. Thanks to you all for leaving them for us to find.
Nice easy find while wandering around Martinborough. Thanks for the cache Yeetrees

On a 10 day holiday of the North Island of NZ visiting from Australia sl thanks for the cache.
Found this morning on the way to the fair. A quick find but found it quite in the open? Tried to hide as best I could. Thank you for a nice dry cache
Doing a bit of a tiki tour with My.Precious, of the Wellington and Wairarapa areas this weekend, on another type of hunt, go to certain places and answer questions about something there. So if a cache was at the same spot or on the way to the next question it's a bonus. Had to be a bit fussy which caches were selected as we had limited time.
A lot of muggles next door returning cycles of 2,3 and 4 wheels next door from the wine trail. The i-site had just closed and the nice lady who works there over heard M.P and I and guessed what we were up to and told us where to look. I had looked there but was over thinking it, as I do, and missed it. Picked up the container and moved off from GZ to sign and then retruned it.

Hello from Juneau, Alaska. Exploring a great part of NZ. Quick find. ~thanks #3815
In Martinborough for the weekend with the girls, none of which were interested in GCing, so I decided to go for an early morning walk to find a few. An easy find for this one with few muggles around. Clouds and wind returning after a glorious sunny weekend. TFTC
Found it sorry didn't have a pen so took photo of log. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely place!
Nice quiet relatively calm evening after a blustery day. On a brief geocaching visit from Taranaki. TFTC.
DNF again for us. Came in the evening when the site was closed and street quiet. Looked under several eyes but no luck.
Looked in all the possible Sites for this, plenty of signs that it may have been here but it appears to have gone.
Sadly this was a dnf for us. Had a look in all the likely spots that we thought of and matched the clue. Not this time.
We stopped over in Martinborough on our journey from Napier to Wellington. The town was buzzing with preparation for the Toast festival tomorrow.
We had a lovely lunch in the village cafe and a wine tasting too. Even the sun was shining.
Picked up a trackable from the cache.
