looked and looked AND looked before realising it was no longer there! thanks for a nice walk anyway on a beautiful morning
did a maintenance visit. Cache and it's hiding spot are both gone. We will not be replacing this one. Thanks to all who came and found it. - Team Ransid
Were going great guns til we came across this one. Searched around but had no luck, even to find a rock that may have needed moving. Oh well better luck next time!
Looked round for bout half an hr n returned empty handed not for lack of tryin tho!
Discovered on our quick holiday over to the beautiful York Peninsula. TFTC SL I sat in the car while gung-ho hubby went for the smiley. He came back with a big one on his face
Lucky I had JIM with me - my iPhone had me way off... but his was pointing right to it.... May also have helped that he is taller than me!!
Found two trackables in here, but haven't logged them yet, as they are not logged as being in this cache... one is apparently "lost", the other still in the hands of the previous holder.
We suspect fishy father/son duo we saw walking out as we were walking in may have been Brett & James!!
Can always tell a cacher by the furtive glances and friendly, knowing smile... ;P

Lest We Forget... Lucky country.

Came back to this cache to drop off Tristar 1 TB, saw who must have been Sonic&Jim arriving as we left, nice to nearly meet you
Found with Fred6603 on our SA adventure trek on a stopover at Moonta Bay. A good hide, took a while to find as our 6 steps east did not lead us to the cache. no muggles nearby today. TFTC,
Roostaman.
Roostaman.
Found at 1345 with Roostaman on our South Australia odyssey. Staying at Moonta Bay for a couple of nights and seeing the local sights. We were looking elsewhere when thankfully Mrs Fred made the find.
Thanks team ransid.
Thanks team ransid.
Once again spotted and grabbed by James but we had to take it for a walk around the corner to avoid some tourists who were approaching. Signed log, took mighty bean and left a cave man, then returned the cache after the tourists had gone on their way.
Found It!
Got it out easily, getting it back and getting the rocks to stay put was a bit difficult..

Geo son found on 11/ jan but just getting round to logging all 26 finds now! Not sure the rock weighed that much & couldn't work out the brush full of hair but found after short search with 11 other geo family!! SL TFTC
Sorry for the late log of our find. Staying in the area for our Xmas holidays. Go for our daily walk along these lovely beaches. Took a while to find, gps wasn't zoning in with the satellite at the time so looked in a few different spots but found it eventually. Nice hide. TNLNSL, TFTC
Spent the weekend in Port Hughes, and this was the first cache we went searching for. For some of our friends who hadn't found a cache before this was a nice easy one to start with. The weather was perfect and the water had barely a ripple on it. A good location and worth the walk from our holiday house.
Found this with Morrisminor72 (8th May). Misty rain, fun on the beach, Charlie collected a pile of stones. For some reason we forgot to log all of our finds that day. Oops!
A lovely day on the beach with a bit of sunshine and not much wind and not any muggles around the area. Left a smiley magnet and a klem bear and took a sherlock holmes figure. TFTC
Fun find in the rain with Fich06. Nothing like a deserted scenic beach and a misty rain. Left a homemade pathtag. TFTC.
I loved this beach. Spent ages there. Still can't quite believe that cache survives where it is but it does and it was fun to try and retrieve and replace with a few Muggles and fishermen enjoying the last of the late afternoon sun. TYFTC
What a gorgeous beach. This spelled the end of caching for the day for us. The geo-kids would not budge. They spent the next few hours swimming, sand castling, and shelling. We met up with some people walking on the beach with whom we had done the Wheal Hughes Copper Mine tour earlier in the day. Spent a very pleasant half hour getting to know them.We stayed on that glorious beach until after the sun had set and what a sunset it was. Took the great photos. Thanks for bringing us here (but sadly it didn't do much for our daily cache rate!). Thanks team ransid.
Scratched our heads for a while on this one until we widened our search slightly.... and got it!! (where would geocaching be with out mint tins and fruit containers!!!) Thanks team rancid for the hide!!
Find while on holiday's in Moonta, found with Team Scallywag and The Wild Gang. TFTC!!
Found with The Wild Gang and The Rhyan Clan on our family holiday!

Great clue, great spot.We walked in from Moonta Bay.Pen had run out but fortunately we had a pencil with us, we left it with the cache.TFTC TNLN
Found after searching too high and off target. Awesome clear water. Geodog had a ball
GeoDog had a ball down here, we couldn't get him back in the GeoVan! Found quickly in a lovely spot. No sign of the Turtle TB. TFTH
Nice Find on the Beach so went and dipped our toes in the water but it was sooooooo nice went in up to thighs. Wish we had brought our swimmers even the Geowife loved it and she hates the salt water and the sand. Took the little Turtle and will take him travelling. TFTC
Found pretty quickly on an afternoon walk. Visiting from Sydney. Left TB from Sweden. TFTC
Had to be careful getting this cache because there were some muggles on the beach.
Well hidden. TNLN. Thanks.
Well hidden. TNLN. Thanks.
Found it while riding bikes with forest farmers, well hidden. 2nd cache of my career.
Thanks.
Thanks.
gosh, we went on a family holiday and had a walk along the beach, mum is hopeless! she had us looking west not east! after I had a look at my gps and told her witch way is east we found it easily TFTC
Just as Brodie cacher said - don't listen to mums when it comes to directions. TFTC TNLN thanks!
This one took us too long, as the GPS had us in the middle of the beach at least 10m from GZ. After some searching we found it. It then took us just as long to put it back with muggles walking the beach and stopping nearby talking to themselves. SL TNLN TFTC
A beautiful walk around the coast at early hours this morning ~ loved this sneaky hide [^] Totally enjoying my summer holidays ~ thanks for placing a cache at such a lovely location ~ SL TNLN First cache find for 2011
i dont think i would like to use this brush but a quick find on the cache was made
I knew where this one was but more and more lately I leave these caches without even trying. In such a sensitive area I just couldnt bring myself to damaging the cache site just to log one more. By the end of the Christmas holidays this site will look like it's lost a fight with a lawn mower.
Stopped at Port Hughes over night and this was an easy find. Duly found and signed.
John B, AreWeThereYet! and I had a drive around Moonta today and found a few. No rock at GZ and an easy find in a few seconds. TFTC Team Ransid and Friends. TNLNSL
Found this with "How Do They Know?" and non-geo friend John. Took finger puppet and left simpson doll. Tftc.
Tftc tnln. looked around for a bit, admired the sea and back on task. finally located just east.

3465. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]Took the chance and a walk to this cache. The chance - there was a guy looking out over GZ. Thankfully he moved off not long after we headed down so we could start searching. Finally resorted to the cache description and then the cache practically jumped into our hands.

91st of 100, and the sun is getting low. Spent a few minutes finding this one as the GPS insisted it was elsewhere, but the detailed description helped us out. Thanks team Ransid.
Tried to find this one many months ago in the middle of the night and I now know I was crazy,it's amazing what differance daylight makes.tftc
Found it easily because it was 'hanging' in the open ready to fall and be washed away! Erosion has loosened the materials around it, so moved it to a more secure location about 6 paces to the East, still on same level.
A nice bit of beach and a really good hide! Thanks to Team Ransid and Friends for the cache.
While Tacker 1 and 3 raced off along the beach and Boxer discussed 5kg rocks with our young muggle friends, I walked up and grabbed the cache - no rock in sight. I signed the log, left a pathtag and Boxer replaced it WITH a rock. Thank you. We think the last time we were here you could still drive your car in.
Rob is taller and stronger so we decided he should take care of this one.
One has to keep an eye on muggles around here too.

Nice hide on a very nice beach. We found the cache quickly, and signed the log. This is where it got a bit messy! Muggles decended the steps. How do you look innocent with a 5kg rock in your hand? I think we pulled it off.
We quickly rehid the cache (and rock) and dashed off.
thanks, Robmc.

Cheers 4 da cache!

A cruel hide, but found all the same. Found during the walenators caching SMASHEX of Western Victoria and the Yorke Peninsular SA. TFTH...SL....TNLN
This was number 50 on our big YP trip with Team Waldron & Moses on the Move and Co. It was an excellent hide and a quick find which is what was required today. I ended up on 99 caches for the day which was record for me! Thanks for taking the effort to place the cache while you were on holidays.
Found as part of the Great YP Caching Blitz by Team Waldron, Trail06 and Moses On the Move.
110 caches were attempted in 17 hours actual caching.
Thanks to all cache owners.

We are heading north. 2 canoes under this one today but lucky for us no muggles with paddles. Thanks
All I can say is 'How could I have missed that" on my first visit here
A very quick find this time.
TNLNSL, Cheers.

now we have the 100 find trackable we are just getting around to logging it through.
Found on our long weekend sight seeing the northern YP.
Have been prospecting potential mullett beaches.
Seem to be following a few other cachers around but unfortunateley
we haven't bumped into them.. TNLN, TFTC SL

Our second find for the day. Walked along the beach from the house we were staying in for the weekend, and along the track to claim this smiley. A bit cold but promise of a beautiful day ahead. Thanks Team Ransid.
Found by Mary & David at 1205. The tide was way out and the view is superb. Easy to spot the cache, as there was no 5kg rock in place, just a small one. We re-hid the container where we thought a little birdy would build its nest, and left a suitable rock to guard it, although it may not quite meet the 5kg requirement. Our thanks toTeam Ransid and Friends.
