Once again this cache has fallen victim to muggles and was fully exposed when checked upon, time to archive this one and replace with a new cache to bring people back to this wonderful area.
Found whilst walking the area trying to locate 2 other caches.
Great views along this track.

Cool 2 3LG caches on the same day.
I would have left a Geocoin here, but it seems the last one went walkies and this cache is open to all, so decided not too, should have left some booty though as it looks a little barren with just a log sheet.

I decided to go and check on this one as it had that the log that the log was strewn and that the log was replaced and cache returned to its spot so i don't know why it was disabled ???? i made my way down to GZ to find the cache out in the open still with the temporary log but i placed a new log anyway in there and recovered the cache as to how it should be, any muggles walking down here would be to blown away by the views to turn around and see the cache, the cache is intact, in good condition and has a log, if this cache is to hard for the CO to maintain i would love to take over it : )
Thank you Adrian Mc for letting us adopt this cache. We have lived at Wynn Vale for 25 years and are grateful for the opportunity to keep this cache active. Don't forget to stop awhile and take in the vista.
needs maintenance. found container out in open, lid off, nil contents apart from a calling card. a temporary log (piece of paper) left and returned to assumed original position. Someone has obviously made off with the geocoin we were after.
A worthy cache for my one thousandth find. Thanks.
I had "gone bush" to find What were they thinking #2 and decided maybe I can make this a driveby as well.
A very nice change after some of the low land finds and the views are great.
Attempted to exit further east but had to retrace my steps.
Found and signed. Thanks for a great cache location.

This is one of those caches you need to look at the map and not trust the gps to get you a starting point. A nice stroll with a nice view and a cache at the end.

I was surprised to find that I am the first for 2012. Easy cache to get to, and a reasonable view for this point.
Thanks for the cache, Adrian Mc.

No wind today, just sunshine slowly becoming overcast with some drizzle. Am certainly glad I came from above and not below.

#647 I think I made hard work of this as I had to traverse some very up and down terrain from where I parked. However, it was well worth it as the reward was great views - more so because it was such a lovely day. Took Niels TB to take back to Melbourne as it hasn't visited there. Thanks Adrian Mc.
No wynn-d to speak of today, just sunshine and a great view.
Left Niels TB to continue travels in fresh hands.
Thanks for the cache (I hated the walk up the hill) Adrian Mc.

Thought I'd stop for this one after dropping the kids at school. Collected Obi Wan travel bug and left a tractor and bookmark...Contrary to the cache name, it was a perfect morning, not a breath of wind.
Nice easy stroll to GZ. Possibly a terrain 1.5 if my grandma could get her wheelchair down there. Was even a nice walk for Mrs. Lost Wanderer who is 6 months in the family way and not liking physical exertion right now. Lovely afternoon walk for the Lost Wandering family. Don't know why we hadn't found this one before. Took Gruffulo TB and left Obi Wan Kenobi TB.
Thanks for the cache Adrian Mc.

A very enjoyable stroll ...down to GZ. - wouldn't recommend the uphill version as preferred option. Found cache - snails and beetles included [:o] with geo-nieces, dropped off Gruffalo TB (he likes the fresh air and views) took 'Despicable Me' character. TFTC Adrian Mc
After finally finding somewhere to park we commenced the trek in. geoD looked at the GPSr and thought, "It's 100m up there?!?!?!?!". We set off and soon arrived at GZ and geoD made the quick find.
Took a moment to grab our breath and admire the view

This cache feels like it's way out in the bush but it cant be more than 300m from housing. Steep and rocky with some slippery grass and an amazing 4wd track that felt pretty near vertical on my way out (south from cache). Even the alternative looked dangerous. No snakes seen, but perfect country for them.
Found a golf ball halfway up the hill, was going to swap it when I got there, but there was one there already!
#8 of 13 for me today.

With the K9-GPS unit under the weather at home and Mrs looking after him, thought I would pop out for a quick caching session on my last day of holidays.
Heading over from "What Were They Thinking? #2" being a little unfit from Christmas decided to jog and discovered the 3-3.5 terrain (There has to be a better way ).

Quite a hike if you come at it from wrong side, the carpetbaggers floored it and we got there..
Took the hard way up from the bottom, it's steep! The view is worth it, though.TNLFSL TFTC
A nice little walk behind where we live... Been there before about a year ago just before geocaching and didn't even realize there was something there.. It's amazing how that happens... Thanks for the cache
It certainly was 'Wynndy' in the vale today. I came to have a look for the Ranger family GPSr, but all I found was this cache. TNLN Thanks, nonetheless, to Adrian Mc - and Ranger Family - for a Sunday afternoon walk.

Found at 11.50am after quite a walk from the car but unfortunately on the way back to the car the GPS came off my belt clip & is now MIA. See http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=13109&p=138563#p138563. If any other cachers in the area come accross them please PM us or call us on the numbers listed in the GCA forum thread.

Parked to the NorthWest at the end of Gully Rd and got bombed by a magpie as I started off.
After getting away from him and heading upwards I started wondering whether I should have taken the bridge at the start, but the track cut back over again. Ended up taking the wrong junction at the fork (should've gone left, rather than right), so ended up cutting across and up from the fenced off cliff.
Great views on a sunny clear day [^]
Good views to the mangroves at Saint Kilda, and gee the Hollywood Plaza sign stands out.
Nice convenient rock to sit and relax and log on.
Continued up the gully a little bit further before heading back to the car. A nice lunch time walk.

Tried to log on iPhone App. Doesn't seem to be working. Found it, a nice walk, very close to where we live. Thankyou.
Must have gone the long way. Down a hill up a hill and then down again. Maybe more research next time on the plan of attack. Great location definitely worth the effort. TFTC Took Play Coin & Left Gecko SL
A nice little jaunt in some suburban wilderness. I was using a Google earth printout to follow the maze of tracks to get to this and consequently found it without using the GPS. Very Bob-like [^] .
Thanks for bringing me here Adrian. Cheers .

Jumping forward in time, I was able to log this on the 23rd of May, unfortunately I had to return to the real time on the 22nd of May to log it.
Easy find on a sunny Mothers Day. The first find for my 2yr old daughter ! Sensational. TFTC.
Found the cache - no problem - I come from bottom... Beauitful view from GZ. with lovely warm weather. No swap. SL. Thanks Adrian Mc for organising the cache and hunt.
Did you hear me scream? you may have- found cache relatively easily however a 'cat sized' spider ( ok it was small to medium for a huntsman) crawled on my arm. Was a lovely walk and great views though. 'Yoinked' the hedgehog intend on taking him for a trip to yorke pen. next week

A quick find on my way home from finding 'Aerial View'. Nice views from here as well. Might have to come back with the camera. TB not in cache, someone must have taken it already. TNLN TFTC.
Approached this cache from the 3 star terrain direction. I remember coming here many years ago for the archived Rock Face by Simo (GCA042). Nice views.

A bit of local knowledge helped us to get to a spot where we could walk down a track to this cache . The crazed teenager planned to take on the down hill run on his bike while we viewed the sunset. Left purple ball, took nothing. Thanks for bringing us to this great spot.

An easy find at sunset on a lovely day with a slight breeze at sunset. Hmmm I wonder if they would mind if I rode my mountain bike down that track.

Interesting geological examples in the old quarry on the track west of GZ.

We were lucky to even find out this was here. JadedOptimist08 rang us for Internet access help while HE was out looking for another cache, and Mrs O obliged by getting online from her phone, only to discover this newly-listed cache! We were unable to help JO08, but as we'd just hopped back into the car after caching nearby in Greenwith, it was too good an opportunity to pass up the FTF. Great views up here watching the sun fading over the horizon. TFTC Adrian.
Should have come to this cache first, but went after Will O' The Wisps first. Funnily enough met Adrian Mc at that cache. Anyway claiming Silver only 1 1/2 hrs after O'Cholio. TFTC.
