Unfortunately this cache has gone missing again - seems to get muggled quite often so have made the decision to archive it and open the area up for someone else to place another cache somewhere else in the reserve.
Well me hearties, we went on a raid into the Wairarapa today accompanied by one of our crew, haydn.seek. After the recent stormy weather we had plain sailing, apart from a chilly wind off the snow-topped ranges. We struck gold at all but the first location, so we be mighty good pirates, arrrgh!
We went ashore here for a walk through some nice native bush. It was not muddy underfoot and the stream was really clear - a good spot for a pirate camp maybe?! No problems locating the cache. TFTC

WE set sail fairly early in the morning although i did have to circumnavigate a bit for the port of call as i lost my way but oonce there we set the sails in a bigger ship and made good time down to our first post of call. I had visited this port a while ago when the dead sheep still rather s5tank!( but is now a dried skull and a woollen fleece) I searched where i thought i had found it and else where but absolutely no luck so we replaced it with a fairly obvious small mustard tin. ready for next to solve the mystery! FRom here we sailed into fair weather and into the 'port of call' next to the QE park Located other caches around this area including this one which i didn't have a smiley face on! before heading to the west side of Masterton and then over to the eastern side of the SH2 and visited Mauriceville and the little collection of Caches around this area. before heading back to the SH and headed for home with a "Bottle of Rum" _Coffee- stop at Eketahuna. We had a sucessful 'see' journey finding booty at each port of call so we were all very pleased with our days sailing around the skindo country where we also managed to replace soaking wet logs and even replaced three containers for other pirates to find. It was a great day out and considering the rough and stormy weather we have had layely we were very lucky to have a fine day despite being rather wet and muddy at some places. Thank you cache owners we took nothing and left nothing at any of the caches. I took some photos of odd places which i will log later.
We had not known this reserve was here until we searched for this cache, thank you!
We came specifically to find the TB, sadly it was not in the cache. There is a very strong possibility it had been muggled, I will message the cache and TB owners regarding this.
Took nothing, left a domino, thanks again for the cache.

Was my first geocache ever it was a whole lot of fun working as a team and depending on each other's navigation skills.
I was doing a school trip to the millenium reserve and saw a geocache there so all the students came over here and we found it!
Found it on 17th March 2017. Left a traceable item, with a message to help return it to Black Country UK
My 5yr old was stoked with his find! Will have to come back with a pen to complete the log. Thank you!
Forgot the pen the first time, so went back to the van then back in again. Tftc
Checked today. The replacement cache is still happy in its hiding place. Thanks Dani 123 for noticing the old missing cache floating out on the lake. Took a trekking pole with us in the hope of being able to retrieve it, but it was floating too far out. Decided we would need to come back another day with something longer, but on our way back to the car found some tree prunings so grabbed one of those. Still not long enough! Swapped it for another longer one so was finally able to retrieve the old cache which was full of water. At one stage we also spotted a bird sitting on the floating cache - a pity we didn't have the camera.
Checked today - looks like it has gone missing. Will disable until I get the chance to replace it.
Collecting a few caches while over in the Wairarapa.
A nice quick find. Really enjoyed this lovely little reserve. Got muggled by one of the volunteers and then spent the next 15 minutes discussing geocaching with him.
Thanks for brining me to this lovely spot. Worth a FP.

Checked today. Found where it should be. Dried out container. All set to go again.
Thought it was going to b a lot longer walk than it was! Didn't take long to get to gz then a quick grab of the cache tftc
Lovely boxing day stroll. Never been to the reserve before. Youngest enjoyed it. Not sure about leaving lollies in the cache though!
Awesome walk around what an amazing spot. We thought we would never find our way out again but that was half the fun too. Tftc, found with endmosteye44
Could not find this one but couldn't look too hard as lots of juggles in the tracks. Will try another day.
Interesting little park this one - weather had turned and become cold & rainy. Cache was a quick find and in good condition. Added TB.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Always a lovely place to go for a walk! Spotted a few creepy muggles walking around the park alone and very slowly, creepy muggles.... Found it with my grandma!
Fantastic walk! Took something and replaced it. First piece of 'treasure'. tftc.
Checked on cache today and replaced it back to its original hiding spot where it should have been, which is less obvious.
Had been saving this one to do with my son, but with his interest waning I decided to grab it todday & add some kilometres to a couple of TBs before running them up to Auckland tomorrow. Cache in good condition TNLNSL TFTC
Thankyou for the cache, but it was a bit obvious; we pretty much saw it as soon as we saw the bridge.
But a nice walk.
But a nice walk.
We had lovely walk around track to find cache, which was pretty obvious and almost jumped out at us. TFTC
What a great Millenium Project! A nice area to explore, after amazing WoW weekend. Thank you.
Me and my dad found this app and thought it was amazing! It's great fun this one was close to where I live so while I was on my evening walk I went looking for it and found it!
This is a beautiful location and I wished I had more time but was on a caching blitz in Masterton and couldn't spend long here. The noticeboard at the entrance recommends spending an hour here and I fully agree with that to do it justice!
A quick easy find.
A definite favorite. TFTC.
PS re the previous log the coordinates were accurate for me to within a few metres.

Does anyone know if it is still under the bridge I have looked for at least a month
Found it with my sister but some people have been putting rocks and leaves in there
#1318 Found during a 24 hour caching raid in the Wairarapa with Nic-jay- seeing how many we could find in 24 hours. Made a quick job of finding this one not realising that it shouldn't be accessed after dark. Opps! Interesting place! TFTC!
Found while on a 24 hour caching adventure with Skaga through parts of the Waiarapa.
I blindly followed Skaga into the park to find this cache - she took us on the 'scenic' route where we got to meet a few frogs, lots of ducks and maybe the odd mud-man. Found the cache easily enough in the end and then Skaga managed to find a more direct route back to the car. It wasn't until we were leaving the area that we realised we were not meant to have gone in here after dark - oops, sorry about that! TFTC
