Well which tree now. Did I really need the hint. A bit wet underfoot so didn't sink too much while logging! Clear skies.
Reperio at 0900. This was a great spot to pull up and let the geodog out for a run. While he did his thing and sniffed out every scent he could find in the place (except the cache), I went over and made the find. Perfect spot for an Australia Day picnic.
Gratias.

Hint gave it away. Clever hide. CO will need to replace log as there is not much room left. TFTC

This was so bloody hard to find for an easy one. I think the coordinates were off a little.

The co-ords were a bit off on this one - probably because of the trees. Therefore it is all in the clue! TFTC
Found on a mammoth day's caching of 124 caches in 17 hours around the Maitland and Port Stephens area with The Rats and Farmer Frenzten .
A short walk and a straightforward find here once at GZ. TFTC!

#4687 Found this cache as part of the Rats, Steeba & FarmerFrentzen blitz on the Port Stephens area. This was our first of many many many M&M containers for this trip. The area around GZ is very wet from recent rains.
Thanks

Found during a 17 hour caching spree with The Rats and steeba that yielded 124 finds.
A quick find after a short walk from the car.
TNLN and thanks Tamykian for the cache.

Found at 12.35pm GAFF3. We liked this park enough to have lunch here after finding the cache.
Our GZ was 12metres away in the middle of lawn - can't understand why nobody else has mentioned it or provided corrected co-ords?
Thanks Tamykian for showing us this park.

My GPSr took me to a picnic table in a lovely parkland setting. I searched it high and low but could not come up with the goods. I resorted to the clue and realised the error of my ways. The cache container was soon located and I placed my log sticker in. With no one around I could complete the caching duties and return it to its hide without detection. The cache owner may have to add new log sheets soon as finders are now signing the backs of the log sheets. This was an enjoyable on a sunny afternoon. Many thanks.

Found after resorting to the clue as both the iPhone & the gps unit kept going haywire. TFTC
Found this at my second attempt, for some reason the compass on my iphone was all over the place, maybe all the trees throwing it off. but found in the end. TFTC Tamykian.
A quick and easy find. Found during Rudi63 and the Walenators assualt on a "Everything North of Sydney" caching weekend TFTH....SL...TNLN

found with some mozzies while getting the geokids out and about.
I had a friend with me who had found this one without a GPS.
I would not even try that... he is a better man than me.
both geokids needed to use the geotoilet and it held up my search... but we got there in the end.

Nearly gave up on this one because the mosquito's were ferocious. Found on the way out by our cute geo mistress. Look out for spiders. Pretty easy to find but not where we were initially looking.
A quick find in the obvious location however it took a lot of ingenuity to extract the container from it's hidey hole.Hopefully we have left enough packing under it to allow an enable an easier extraction in the future. TFTC
An easy find thanks to Deputy D0g and Bower bird, not so easy extraction but I came up with something in the end....you might have to extract the cache to figure out what we did.
Thanks for the cache nice work!

[Found this one no worries, but watch out for the ants when you park the car betweeen far a field and tree's within. Nice medium container. Easy to find....]Think all trees even stumps and cut down ones.
Nice easy find, getting the container out was a little more difficult though... tried to grab it and pushed it down further, had to use some 'tools' to get it back out
[Found this one just after finding "Far A Field (Nano)" couldn't believe
Splinter couldn't find this cache and "Far A Field (Nano)" all well. Obvious clue as there is only] 1 small tree

I was in the area with some time to kill and with a cricket match on over near Far a Field I gave it a miss and this one became the first target.
Finding the cache was not that difficult but retreiving it was alot harder, I could barely get my fingers in the hole let alone my hand. I did eventually get it though and completed the duties and replaced to cache.
Thanks.

Great little park, We found this one fairly quickly but it took us some time to retrieve the cache which was just out of reach. Perseverance paid off and the finally signed before we headed off to the next location. [129].
TFTC, Out for a day caching with Cachefinders2 from Sydney. The geokids were out of the triton as soon as it had stopped again and were racing for the trees. A thrilled shreak of found it came from the only person who hadn't found one all day.
From here on in he was on the ball and found a few more over the afternoon.

Found as part of the McWinRexOn team, Easy find but impossible retrieval for most of our team, even Mrs Winglen barked her knuckles rerieving this one. A nearby muggle was starting to take an interest in our wandering but quickly decided family responsibilities took preference with a couple of six footers looking at him.I would have crafted a tool from some nearby sticks if I was by myself but not required due to a physical advantage in our team.

As said below it did require my little hand to retrieve this - much better than having to walk back past the playground and father/daughter muggles, and have them wonder yet again what we were up to. A quick find, back past the muggles and onwards. Thanks Tamykian.
Amazing how muggles will take an interest in perfectly ordinary situations - like a car pulling up at the road edge, four people leaping out and walking straight past the playground to a far picnic table under some trees, the commencement of a caching huddle before the onset of the dreaded 'cachers stare-down! What a team effort - wonderful. Thanks Tamykian for another nice cache location.
2213. BigON and I had to stare down the girl on the swing's father so that he lost interest in us. Once that occurred RexTrex cunningly used Mrs Winglen's hand as the retrieval tool. For many many reasons we were glad to have Mrs Winglen along, not least of which she has slim wrists.
TFTC and the stroll.

another short stroll, no muggles to be seen, after deciding on the most obvious spot I was first to see the GZ, found with Tankengine, Tealby and Sol de lune on our caching invasion from Canberra
Part of our Newcastle/Port Stephens invasion from Canberra...
This was a nice park! The tie for the cache was broken, but we soon retrieved the prize!
Thanks.

Extraction of the cache proved to be a little tricky, so it was good to leave this up to one of my caching companions who soon sorted it out. TFTC.
Found as part of the Canberra Invasion to Newcastle/Nelsons Bay/Port Stephens and surrounding areas with Tealby, Tankengine and Mtrax. This one was day one and with our over night accommodation at Raymond Terrace, we hit Maitland on the way through.
Good quick find on our run around the area. TFTC

Found this one whilst out for a day caching with TheWobblys and The Don.
Luckily we had a 2yo geokid with us that quickly grabbed the cache.
Was going to get Far a Field but there was a grand final on so some other time.

Family day out caching with The Cashman & The Don families. We took the lastest addition to The Wobbly family-Diesel our 6 week old pup.Lucky we had The Don's 2 year old geo kid to get this one out of the hide.TFTC
This was easily found, but took a bit of effort to extract it from its hidey hole. Cheers Gav [4016]
My daughter found it, just as well as she has small hands; I suspected the particular spot but the co-ordinates are slightly out.[:o)] Cache in good condition.
good spot, however I recommend to the next seeker to take a set of small hands with you or a set of tongs. hard to get if you have big hands. signed log LNTN, TFTC
What would be the fun of caching if every set of co-ords were spot on. Found it in the end so all's good.

Found this one fairly quickly only after doing so do we find out that the co-ords were out. I thought it was just me.
Found after a short search. Only read after in the notes we made that the cache was about 8 meters out.

Found thee cache quite easily but the time it took me to retrieve the cache from it's hiding spot was all the local mozzies needed to have a feast. Needless to say I didn't leave a long log...

Nice easy one, using the geodog for cover makes it, but i ahd to call over the geo-other-half to fit her hand into the hiding spot.
2nd attempt found at 1.00pm. Took a few minute but found it eventually (as commented before co-ord out about 8m)

I like the hint. There are a million trees to pick from. Found the M&M's container camouflaged in gaffer tape.
We searched for ages at the given co-ordinates but nothing matched the clue and we couldn't find cache. Found another spot that matched the clue but no luck there. Had given up and were heading back to the car when we spotted another "short tree" at least 8m away from co-ordinates and BINGO there it was. TNLNSL TFTC
Nice find in an enjoyable park,
Took a little bit of searching likely places, dodging native critters:
- spiders, lizards etc
But cache was soon discovered
Log signed & cache returned to the hide...
Thanks for an interesting hide in a pleasant location
