**Smilie #4803**
Heading towards Warwick & caches west & we decided this would be a great place to call past & grab a smilie!
Pulled the Geo-Beast to a stop within 10 metres of GZ & noticed there is a 6 foot high fence right around the building & it's grounds.
Signs warning of security cameras adorned the fencing which is of a 'construction' style & is definitely there to exclude any entry to the site.
Casting an eye around for a possible entry point I managed (with the aid of my TOTT) to get to the cache, quickly made our mark & replaced as found.
To the best of my knowledge we pulled off this incursion without being witnessed or filmed but the cache may need to be disabled until further entry is possible.

Here from Canada and spending a few days at the showgrounds in Clifton. This was a quick and easy find. Thanks for the fun BakerStreetCrew!
A planned outing to grab some caches in an area we don't normally go. I looked at a map and chose an area about 2 hours from home...Clifton won out
Quick easy find...was harder to get the cache out and back again but not too hard

Nice quick find. There some old stuff here. Patted the collie dog that was tied up and went on my merey way. Tftc
Having a weekend of caching including on the way to, south of, as well as in Toowoomba with the weather being fantastic as well! Great variety of scenery and many places being visited for the first time. We certainly had to look the part of tractor fanatics as we did a quick search for this one - a few photos taken as well. TFTC.
This weekend, decided to come up for 2 days from Brisbane to Towwomba and surround ing districts south of the city. On the Sunday will be attending a Event. Parked the car and walked over to GZ. There were muggles over the road and had to be careful not to look suspicious. Found easily. TFTC
On our way home from the walk for Life ( Team Robins) homecoming. We decided to take a detour from our original destination of Toowoomba. We found a great camp spot in Clifton showground. Only 10.00 and there is power, all very nice grounds and it is dog friendly. No showers but clean toilets.
Love the name.
Lots of rust and where to find the the smile ? Yes we found it, thank you so much for the hint as we found it so much easier. Thank you for taking us to the Museum.
Thanks for the Cashe BakerStreetCrew.

Spending the day exploring East Greenmount, Nobby and my old home town of Clifton with my awesome geopartner WallabyTim. I remember visiting this museum as a very small child and it was nice to go back again. Cache was very hard to get open but eventually got there, signed and returned. TFTC
Mrs. Herbz had a case of cache blindness as Mr. Herbz found it right where she had just looked! TFTC.
Found at 1300. We stopped here in Clifton at the only food place for lunch after placing our order I took a walk to Find a cache or 2. I found this one. It had the strongest magnet I have fell for a while. TFTC.
Found during a rainy Tuesday morning drive around the Downs with the geo-crew and before heading down towards Brisbane. The showers eased off for this find but the geo-son and I were already a bit damp. Must come back this way one day when the museum is open. All good at GZ. Many thanks BakerStreetCrew
Found it thanks. Staying a couple of nights at recreation ground. On our way to Warwick.

Find #1690 at 12:14 with the family (plus artemidorus1 and his family) on a rest stop during Cycle Queensland 2015.
While sitting around enjoying our lunch stop, I had a sneaking suspicion that there might be a cache nearby. Sure enough, there was I wandered up and retrieved the cache, signed it, and replaced it with none of the dozens of other mad cyclists present noticing me.
I then couldn't resist leaving a note on artemidorus1's bike, "cache 4m -->" (yes, he'd parked that close to it. )
Thanks for the cache, Baker Street Crew.

Visited with Arwen21 and Felix the spy during the Big Queensland Bike Ride. We spent far too long inside the museum and almost got swept up by the sag wagon. Emerging from the museum, we found a note from fellow caching rider Phil directing us to this nearby hide. Thanks for the cache!
Needed muscles for this one! Couldn't see a trackable in cache

The museum was open today and the kids loved it so much. Awesome place for the kids. They were allowed to touch lots of stuff and climb on the buggy. Managed to find the geo. Tftc
Wandered in here with no one around.
Geopartner took a photo while I found the cache.

Found with richliink on day six of our Mega 2015 Stanthorpe adventure.
We slowly meandered from Warwick to Toowoomba enjoying some excellent historical sites. we enjoyed being off the highway for most of the day, thanks BakerStreetCrew for your contribution to our relaxed caching day.

After two days caching in the Warwick area, headed towards Toowoomba with iluvtrekking. We didn't want to go the direct route up the highway so criss-crossed the gorgeous countryside picking up finds along the way. Thanks Baker StreetCrew
Had a great time finding caches in the area with Just-Lookin
SL Thanks for the fun!

We came to Clifton for the fly in so thought we would kill two birds and pick up the caches in town while toddler CacheThief caught some zzz's
There were muggle cars around opening the place for the day, But they were all inside setting up, so I was free to inspect and 'photograph' to things outside!
Nice quick find thanks to the hint and I had no creepy crawlers to contend with!

Currently staying at Lake Leslie we thought we would just bimble around today, checking out the local countryside.
We had fun out and about , and managed to find your cache.
Bring on Qld Mega, not long now. Woo Hoo.

Great hide, love looking all over the tractor....teach us to assume where it was.
Upon arriving back from a trip in Cairns we thought this would be a good place to relocate the TB. Log sheet needs replacing otherwise cache and contents are in good order.
Whoa! Tough magnet! Geomum sent us off on the wrong trail, but we got there in the end. TFTC
Log is a bit worn, and mostly full. The tin was a bit tough to get open as well.
Have found this cache before under my team name, came back today to sign with my new single name. (Kids were getting annoyed with me for caching by myself and running the numbers up without them)
Couldn't see my previous log on the sheet, though there were dates on the sheet from before I had heard of caching. Dogs are still across the road though.

That's a lot of rust, neighbors were interested in our presence but the kids enjoyed a few action shots. TFTC.
Found it and saw a rider on a horse too! There is a lot more metal here than just the tractor.

Hi there BakerStreetCrew. We found your cache "Rust in Peace SD1" at 1:03:00 PM today.
This was our 14th cache find in a caching run of 19 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9386.)

Today we spent some time caching with Team Robins on a trek up to Toowoomba and back. We certainly chipped away at some more of the plentiful caches in the area.
This was a nice quick park-n-grab today.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

Searched the tractor for quite some time but then discovered a wasps nest in and under, so decided to check the hint - and oh - would never have found it otherwise!! Very tricky hide indeed - after a few caches we just assume we have a fair idea of where it should be!
Love this building!! Would love to come back when it's open!
Overall, We had an enjoyable day today, cruising the country roads, kids playing in every park we came across, drinking coffee in small towns, enjoying the scenery and picking up a bunch of caches along the way. The only disappointment was that there was not one, not one, swap in any container today for the kids. So we fixed that and added swaps for the next geo-kids out this way!! Was a beautiful winters day, and a nice way to enjoy hubby's day off work in the last week of the school holidays!! [^]

Found it although it did have the gps going all over the place, we had to look at the hint to locate, it had us still 30mt out from gz when we found it. Very tricky, great place to visit, it wasn't opened today being sunday.
After searching the old tractor for some time I read the hint and then looked in the correct place to find the prize

Found at 1:15pm as my 4th today and #927. Thank you for bringing me to Clifton, I have driven up and down this highway many times over the past 35 yeras but never stopped here. Cache a little difficult to open, but not an issue. TFTC BaketStreetCrew
We were unable to open green round tin - maybe you could check on it please. This was a great area to see all the thing from yesteryear. Thanks for taking us there. Next time we will visit the musuum.

I had just spent a wonderful weekend with Captain Terror in Stanthorpe and we were slowly heading back up to Brisbane. I hadn't been out this way before so was glad when the Captain was willing to pull over and let me grab a few he had already found.
We walked over to GZ and i started looking, I looked in an obvious spot but didn't see the cache. The Captain had a torch so went over to see if he could see it. He laughed at me and told me to look again. OH there it is! I struggled opening the container and ended up cutting my finger as my hand slipped off the container so I took a photo for proof that I had found it and replaced it as found. Thanks for the cache BakerStreetCrew.

I want to go inside but its not open now, I think it might have been earlier. maybe we could have visited if I hadn't have overshot those caches .
I think we will be back soon rather than later for a look inside here.
the cache was found in the last place we looked because then we stopped looking lol

Love these old places, Ratdog was disappointed that it wasn't open today, or now at 4.30pm but we will be back.
Found cache after a short search. People across road may have been watching but we took a few photos and Ratdog relaxed near by.

Journeying to see family for the weekend and the baby needed a feed so we stopped in Clifton. Lucky for me I got to cache while mum did the feed! Easy find, TFTC!
This place was just opening up when we arrived, but with a bit of stealth had the cache in hand. Then spent some time looking at a few historical items.
Great place, Thanks BakerStreetCrew.
