1st of finds while on my way to the airport to fly to LZ before flying home. Very very quiet around here on a Saturday morning, so plenty of time to look. Cache was soon in hand and all was good.
Thanks for yet another one...and greetings from Australia.

Was staying at a nearby hotel. Drove across 40th Ave today to get a Denver County find before leaving town.
I was out with Dad getting a few caches this morning before we had to leave our motel.
Thanks, imusttravel2000! This state is on my to-do list for after I retire. I went out early this morning to find caches in the airport area. This is my last Sunday geocaching in the area because next Sunday we drive back to Texas for most of the school year. We will be back in the Denver area a couple of weeks around the new year. I appreciate it when the cache owner maintains their caches in good condition. We recently moved from Laredo, Texas to Arvada, Colorado to be closer to the grandchildren for the summers. It is also about 20 degrees cooler here than where we have spent the past 16 summers (forecast 100 degrees today in Laredo, down from 109 Friday). It is also real nice to be in an area where I do not have to drive 150 miles to find a cache. My longest consecutive streak was only 31 days because I ran out of caches to find real fast. Living in the Denver area should make it pretty easy to get a 90 day streak before we need to move back to Texas next week.

I'm in town for work for the day and thought I'd grab a cache or two near the hotel. TFTC SL
Back in town from Chicago for a little bit of work, I stopped by here after my appointment while caching all over the place. Mahalo for the business-attire-friendly hide! TNLN/SL TFTC!!
Found this one after hours on a business trip. Didn't really expect to get muggled at 10 at night on a dead end road when the sky was full of lightening, but as I fought with the POS pen I borrowed from the hotel to sign the log a couple out for a walk happened by. Hard to hide in the middle of no where with a flashlight... The way they were acting maybe I got lucky and they're also GC'ers. That or they were really nervous when I started walking back to the hotel right behind them oh well, another aventure to put in the books.
First time in my life that I have said "headed to Alaska". Glad I was able to find it. LOL. The Security guard from the office building nearby watched until I drove away...I think he was even making his way across the totally vacant parking lot and empty field to assert his authority over ...either a stop sign or that dead end road. Quick find, SL, and spoiled a potential confrontation by an overzealous security guard. TFTC!
This little guy was a bit more difficult than normal since it had been knocked down and was laying around a bit away from GZ. Found it and replaced where the hint put me. Thanks for the cache!
So, this was my first find in the USA. Easy find. Amazing how quiet this end of the street was compared to further up...muggle central.
