As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
It took longer to wade through the cache description than search for the cache itself since GZ is a rock-ringed patch of dry dirt and nothing nearby matching the hint. Time, I think, to shelve this one.
Not sure this one is here any longer. It appears there has been a bit of work done in this area.
I wonder if the new structure replaced the old one, and with it the cache has gone??????
Needs an owner check please, so people don''t waste time searching for a non-existent cache. Thanks.
Parked next to this one. Agree with past logs that the area has been decimated. Needs to be looked at by the CO.
Sorry but yet another dnf. The area has been slashed. Think the cache is no more.
Didn't spend too much time here, but I have a feeling the area may have changed recently - I didn't find myself having any gps trouble with trees like some previous cachers, because there aren't too many here now! Hope the cache is still around somewhere
Took a bit to find this one wanting around under the trees... But finally laid my hands on it... Signed the log and returned it to its hiding spot...

GPS location a bit off, was searching around there for ages before moving 6m from current. Still, a great cache and well hidden from passing muggle traffic. TFTC. Nice creepy church!
This had to the longest descriptions I have ever read! But it was interesting. I was superized how easily I found it. TFTC
Found on our return journey to Auckland via the Wairarapa on a sunny caching day.
Reasonably quick find considering the amount of natural camo around GZ now off for some vino to celebrate TFTC.

Took a few minutes to find as GPS not good under trees. Over in Martinborough for a birthday lunch. TFTC.
Quick stop on the way to Toast Martinborough and an easy find, even if the weather was not that flash.

Found it after attacking from two directions, the first choice was correct, thanks for cache.
Found a likely Dionysian tabernacle, but the GPS was pointing elsewhere. Followed it to the cache. Took artfully made pet rock (Thanks Rattll) and left some other goodies.
I had started searching on the other side of the fence before I realised I had to go for a little walk.
Cheers for the cache.

After a couple of diversions we picked this up for our 100th find with spot on coordinates. TFTC
Can't believe this is part of a "stock route", so close to town. Grass area out front was quite a mess. Church didn't even have much of a fence to stop cows getting in.
Didn't really know what the clue was, but easy find anyway. Left a pet rock - a calf. TFTC

Thanks, I found it with my friend from France on my day off while working at vineyard.

We are on holiday from the UK and today took a drive from Wellington to Martinborough via the Rimatukas. We are trying to convert our daughters partner to caching and so after having an excellent lunch in the Village Cafe, where we chatted to some cachers from the USA, we took advantage of a break in the rain to head down to find a cache.
We had to resort to Google to check the meaning of the hint, but John found the cache in the obvious spot.

Our first attempt (on fair day) was barred by parishioners serving tea and coffee near by. We came back later when they were gone and searched, 5 mins later the cache was in hand.
Our 300th cache! Celebrations.

I got to the site and think I know where the cache is, but there were a few muggles watching so I didn't attempt the find. A bit disappointing as I was trying to get all the caches in the area. If I get a cchance, I'll come back before I leave for Aus. next week.
Quick find on the way out of Martinborough

Found this cache with Kiwi Explorer on a most enjoyable and productive three day caching raid in the Wairarapa. Apologies in advance for the rather template state of this log. We found over 200 caches in our visit which has left me with rather vague and blurred memories of some of them. Anything that really stood out will get a special mention. Although it took us a wee while to find the right way in... We were initially distracted by the somewhat derelict structure next door. Anyway, what more appropriate church to place a cache next took. Not a lost thing for us today. TFTC, Biggles.
Found while touring the district with Biggles. Approached from the wrong side initially before finding the easier way in. TFTC.
Found our way to where the GPS pointed and soon spotted the cache. Thanks.

Another cache we were relieved to convert into a smiley after a DNF last time. This time, we ignored the title of the cache, trusted the GPS and it was a quick find on the other side of the fence from where we searched last time.

Had to sort out the right side of the fence. All quiet, and good co-ordinates helped. TFTC
We had looked for this one a while ago but there was a muggle mowing the lawns. Not such problems today in the wet.

Remember trying this one a year or so ago only to have some drunk sitting on the dias, no worries today, in reflection we could have got the cache without upsetting the drunk last time!!
Quickly spotted, Thanks.

Easy find. Sure indicative that those under the influence of dionysius don't get badly rambunctious here in lovely Martinborough. NINO TFTC
A short holiday with my wife to this wonderful land NZ over from Australia to do some sightseeing and to catch with my mate Dunko who has been moved over here for work. We plan to do the crossing many times, enjoyed doing the cache. Thanks for the cache, made our mark..
Slink1 and co came over from Australia to do some sightseeing and to cache. A trip to the burbs was in order. Slink1 reckons he'll be back for more. Thanks for the cache made our mark..
Oops got the wrong entrance but found the cache over the fence, maybe the tastings are corrupting the senses tftc
Was dark by the time I made it to this one but still managed to tack the cache down no problems. TFTC!

Was led a bit astray by previous comments. follow the coords, GZ is less than 1m away. TNSL TFTC.
Experienced the same problems as Trooles. Perserved, I was pleased when Mrs Aussie Idol called from the other side of the building, "I found it".
GZ seemed to be the hedge, so decoded hint, which disagreed with GPSr. No luck here for us today.
Interesting history on the plaque, particularly the bit about the original wedding that needed to be held under a tarpaulin as the roof wasn't on! Cheers Gav [7915]

GPS would not settle down at GZ so had to resort to hide and seek. Mini-cacher (18 mths old) found it! TFTC
The area around the church was quite busy as they were running a fundraising event but Master Miester and myself managed to access the GZ unnoticed for an easy find.

#311, our 6th find today on our "Martinborough-Hinakura Mega Geocache Run". We were, like many other cachers, on the wrong side of the cache at first - however, thanks to "TheBorg", we found the cache lying on the ground in full visibility! We put it back where we think it should've gone. SL TFTC.
