TFTC great views and a great spot for sloppy ice creams bought at Crookwell. Took dice, left rhinocerous.
Geodog enjoyed the run around and sheep do smell wafting across the paddock.

What If.... Canberra was located here? It would still be cold. A quick find with Just a Cacher and Candy Cane 101. SL TNLN

Quick find with Black Bunny and Candy Cane 101 on a day out caching. We've all been feeling a bit deprived lately, as life has been getting in the way of caching, so it was time to redress the balance a little.

After a bit of cross country I found myself north of Laggan at a spot that would have made a very different Canberra, but there would still have been sheep ! Thanks.

Found whilst out hiding caches, thought as I drove past this would be a nice place for a cache then realised it was the same place I was looking for on the gps. Didnt realise we were there already.

What if ................................... If Canberra was built here there would be more than just this one cache in the valley.

Fabulous views from this high point. Never travelled this road before.

Wow what if I had a view from my porch like that. Mum Stopped on the road yes I know we shouldnt of but hey. I got out 200m away from the cache and walked up the track. Made a quick find then looked at the view before heading back to the car. What a colour of a cache. TFTC

Nice view but I wasn't sure if Canberra was going to be over the road or this side. Niether looked big enough to locate Canberra as I know it today. A great day out with Shod and son and very succesful. This was or third find of the 14 found by me (Shod 16). Left VZT9BX and took OCW3X2. TFTC

Leaving half the team to do some shopping in Crookwell, we headed out for a drive, and to hopefully notch up another find. We found the dirt track, and were able to park in the shade next to GZ. Cache, what cache? - we were too busy taking in the(unexpected) magnificent view. Then we remembered why we were there, and the cache was quickly to hand. Now only if we had the camera! (it was on the charger back where we were staying - we were in Crookwell for a wedding). Thanks JABs for a great cache.

What If.......I was up here about 2 weeks and didn't realise this one was here?

What If.......I received a note saying a cache was here, and I said I might go back for it?

What If.......I made a late decision to have a go for it today, along with another couple?

What If........I get there, only to discover that......

And there you go, as is the story with caching in general, there are always a few 'What If's'. But for now, that's enough of the What If's...............

Love the area. Being from Canberra it was interesting to see this and wonder where I could of been living.

I'm sure it's somewhere in the attached photo.

Thanks JAB's, a fun drive up to collect a cache or three. I'll just remember to check 'further' a field next time.

TNLN & TFTC.

Cheers,
