Found while out caching with The Cashman and The Don.
Nice view of the bridge from down here.
Found while muggle fisherman looked the other way.
Thanks Tamykian

I am so excited to finally have found this one! We have been hanging about in this area quite a few times and never found the goods. However, we called in on Christmas Eve morning and Mrs Mare found it in less than a minute! Will need a new log - we were sad to think that we might not have the opportunity to sign, but managed to squeeze in with someone who had squeezed in with someone who ... You get the picture!
Found on a mammoth day's caching of 124 caches in 17 hours around the Maitland and Port Stephens area with The Rats and Farmer Frenzten .
I couldn't get over how they have restored this old bridge using the same construction as when it was built .
Once at GZ a search of the obvious spots soon landed us the cache. Thanks!

#4692 Found this cache as part of the Rats, Steeba & FarmerFrentzen blitz on the Port Stephens area. Even in the dark the bridge restoration work here looks pretty impressive.
Thanks

Found during a 17 hour caching spree with The Rats and steeba that yielded 124 finds.
Another quick find under the cover of darkness.
TNLN and thanks Tamykian for the cache.

This is the second time we have looked for this one - but failed to locate it again.
dropped by this one today and it was a quick easy find. I am sure that it was not there last time I looked for this one as I checked the location at least a dozen times.

I also had a good look around but came up empty handed. Will try again when I can get back this way.
Not happy as we checked every nook and cranny, still no cashe, maybe next time with fresher eyes. Nice spot for a picnic though.

Found at 10.50am GAFF3. We approached GZ and then weren't sure we were on the right level, but after looking at the top we realised pedestrians are not welcomed there!
A rather peaceful setting with the grass freshly mowed and the sun shining on the river - we searched originally based on the terrain 2 rating, but after exhausting those possible hiding spots we settled for something a bit more basic and found the surprisingly simple hide.
Well done tamykian on the hide and the location.

Nice stop on the way to work. Many places to look here but standing back proved to be the way to find it. SL TFTC.
Finally found this one after 3 visits... Didn't think we would have a chance in the dark, but the youngest geoboy located it pretty fast... and yet geoboy1 and I looked for over 3/4 of an hour one afternoon without luck.
This is one of my best finds to date ,such a little thing on such a big structure. It wasn,t long after the wife hit her head on a beam that i had it in my hand. SL then a beer at the pub ,grabbed some vegies at one of the local farms ,then headed home.It doesn,t get any better than that. TFTC Tamykian.
Not as daunting a search as it could be.
And it's such a peaceful spot to search for a cache!

A nano on a bridge! this is needle in a haystack stuff and I think that bridge throws out my GPS reading as well.... I may well come back here with some fresh eyes, though.
No troubles with this one today, quickly found and logged, the hardest part as always is getting the scroll back in the container, TFTC
I bet this bridge has seen its fair share of flood waters since it was built in 1900. Thanks for bringing us here. Why don't they make these logs just a bit smaller so they can replaced easily after being unrolled 30 or 40 times. TFTC
[I dont know were everyone else is looking but it is still there.] just covered in some cobwebs [as the aqua duck (my geo cuzz found)
Starting to think that it has disappeared. Let me know other wise and we will try again.
Tried with Cachefinders 2 but looked everywhere including all the places which we would use tweezers as in previous clues.
Enormous amounts of muggles around jumping from the bridge. Decided after a long and hard look to give it up today and try it another day.

Went out with AlienRiders to do this but came up empty. Looked everywhere where you would need tweezers to extract a nano.
Looked all over at GZ with Gilly7982-but unfortunatly couldnt find it! Got some great shots of Hinton Bridge while we were there though!!!
We must really suck at these nano's because we searched high and low and could'nt find it....might be the gps
2nd Nano.....experts now! Some crazy kids jumping off the bridge. Checked out the new repairs to the bridge and the river gauge equipment.
We stopped at the pub for lunch and filled up on some great food. Once we could move again we headed over and grabbed our second ever nano. I am already starting to dread that word LOL. As we pulled into Hinton 10 tractors were leaving for the Morpeth Honey festival so the area was very busy, but by the time we got back from Rankin Park the area was deserted and very peaceful. Really enjoyed our visit. TFTC. [127].
our first nano! so exciting to find, great spot very pretty on the water. thankyou!
Found as part of the McWinRexOn team, Who would have thought that a couple of weeks as a stop/go boy twenty very odd years ago would come in handy caching!. We had a quick wrestle with a trestle and there it is. The first and only ?appearance of the tweezers was noted on this one. All aboard and onto the next.

With a small amount of roadwork, and the usual twenty or so workers nearby, I thought we might be thwarted on this one. But again we enjoyed the advantages of a team of four - one or more on lookout, one providing cover and one finding the cache. Found with McWinTrexON. TFTC!
As we came over the bridge and saw all the workmen on the other bank, I thought we were going to ave issues having privacy for cache hunting. Not so! We were allowed to turn away from the road works and were soon admiring the undersides of the bridge.I am sure I burbled something into the LDR (lucky digital recorder) about the cunning and effective use of tweezers as an important part of this caching operation! Thanks tamykian for bringing us cache hunting in Hinton.
Like the official trup recorder I have been remiss in not mentioning the apprentice Inspector Gadget and her tweezers at this cache.

2210. BigON gave a hint while waiting for the lolly pop worked to turn the stop sign around. So I put on our indicator and were allowed straight through. Fine bridge with a million hiding spots, luckily this was found very quickly.

Found this one whilst out caching with The-Don.
Have driven over this bridge many times and always admired it.
Great place for a cache. The locals were hanging around under the bridge and I wasn't sure that I was going to able to locate it because of the attention. Lucky that I had The Don as he had been there before and gave me the heads up so I could grab it quickly without giving the game away.
Didn't sign the log but quickly snapped a photo and returned it.
The muggle teenagers were about to start jumping from the bridge into the river. Had to leave and didn;t get to see the show or fatality.
Thanks Tamykian

Quite a few muggles at the pub across the road, but we snuck down and found the cache pretty quickly. Bridge seems to be undergoing repairs. Cheers Gav [4019]
Persistence paid off, not too hard to find and very rewarding for the effort, girls and I loved this tiny little nano.
Due to a couple of DNF I headed out to check on this little bugger and I would like to confirm it is safe and well tucked under
Well after 10 minutes Mrs Madstars returned to the car stating she could not find this nano... A first for Mrs Madstars....
I then went after it, while Mrs Madstars looked after sleeping Miss Madstars.
After 15 minutes I came back with a sad look on my face... Even after ringing tamykian for extra clues...
Aaarrrhhhh I am not going to make my 400th cache today....... Oh nooooooo................
A very sad moment in time....

1st of 5 attempts today with Little Pilgrim .. and no luck. Doing it my usual hard way without any clues and after some looking gave up and off to the next one.
Lots of looking but no finding! Found 2 out of 3 caches on our first day out so happy with that. Will go back and have a look another day.
It's just as well I looked over the areas that the others had already searched.
Nice old Bridge.

I looked at the spot and still didn't see it. Cache blindness strikes again. A good thing other members of the Tablelands Cachers had their eyes open.
This was another one of those cache blindness moments. But with three sets of eyes all was soon to be seen.

Found this one on an early morning cache run around the area. Used a process of elimination and got there in the end.

we were looking just as hard as fattyacid family. It turned up in the end.
This was our first NANO very CL

Looked once with no luck, then found "stuart park".Returned again and found to our delight our first nano. These suckers are REALLY small and would be almost impossible to accidently discover.Great cache tamykian.
I was tinking this might have been washed away with the high water over the weekend. After going back to the car and read the log (which didn't help me) had another look and there it was.
TTF, without gps, and armed only with vague clue. Cool hide. I have waymarked this bridge here:
