I have meaning to get here for a long time.
I was suprised to be taken on this side of the park, and I am glad I was. The view is great. It is a shame that there seems to be some housing development going on here.
This is a really nice spot and well worth a visit. TFTC Tamykian.

What a beautiful spot! Found cache quickly despite muggles out for a walk. The biggest problem was that horseyhubby forgot the pen! TFTC
What a fantastic hidden park and a wonderful little grand stand. Nice easy find., except forgot the pen. Didn't sign the log because I couldn't be bothered walking back to the car. TFTC. Great spot.
Found on a mammoth day's caching of 124 caches in 17 hours around the Maitland and Port Stephens area with The Rats and Farmer Frenzten .
Really enjoyed visiting this park although the sun wasn't quite up. It presumably has been here a while and looks like a fantastic cricket venue. TFTC!

#4693 Found this cache as part of the Rats, Steeba & FarmerFrentzen blitz on the Port Stephens area. I love these old country sporting fields, what with the mini granstands etc. Unfortunately the Hinton Hornets were around but there was a rumbling coming from the thunder box.
Thanks
Thanks
Found during a 17 hour caching spree with The Rats and steeba that yielded 124 finds.
A nice little hidden park with greatly appreciated facilities!
TNLN and thanks Tamykian for the cache.

I knew how to get to this well hidden park and it was a easy find when I got there. TFTC
I wish I had some spare cash as there are some nice blockes of land for sale there.

Nice park which i didn't know existed. Quick find although it was a little off from where i thought it would be and to where the gps was telling me it was. TFTC SL
Found at 11.00am GAFF1. After doing Hinton Nano, we cottoned onto the difficulty/terrain rating calibration and went straight to the cache to what we would rate as a 1.0/1.5.
The view across the valley on such a bright day was fantastic.
Once again thanks Tamykian for the location.

Silly me, whilst first walking towards GZ I thought 'yes it will be in there'. After a few minutes and a recheck of the GPSr I found I was in the wrong spot. Found shortly after. Nice view of the river and plains. SL TFTC.
Cache has returned... went and had another look and decided that it might be good to replace this cache, but on reviewing the surrounding we were able to locate it and returned it to it hiding place
Will need to check on this one as there have been to many DNF's
Sorry about this Tamykian

Attempted nut DNF... appears that the old fence has been removed, maybe the cache along with it
2 DNF's in a row!! Oh, the shame!!!! [:(!]
Pretty sure I was at the correct GZ, used the clue, but there is nothing on the other side.
Another day?

Few muggles playing cricket but couldnt see what we were doing. Short walk from car park. Pretty easy to find. TFTC
Yeah you were'nt kidding how would you know this was here hidden behind surburbia, great park though Thanks for the cache
There was not a soul at the park today which we thought a bit unusual given that it was 12:10 on a Saturday afternoon. It is amazing that a park with this much to offer is virtually invisible until you drive through the gates. Loved the quant little grandstand. TFTC
Quick and easy find.
The muggles by the sports field were not the least interested in what we were doing.

we had a race to find this one amongst ourselves. The adults were behind 4 - 2, but we got this one in the bag after some cunning misdirection.
Easy find, guessed from the edge of the pitch. So now 4 - 3.

Found this one easily...also heard people shouting to each other on boats from the river!!!

[Easy as to find...was a sight to even see the boats go by...]over fence in stump
Lovely area out here, tried to do this one a few days ago when in the area but ended up on the other side of the river due to not looking at a map! Much easier this time after doing proper research
Discovered a new park, nice view of the river, and a new cache. Thanks Tamykian.
We arrived at the park to find a cricket match in full swing. We decided to have a look at gz anyway. Turns out we were out of sight anyway so we grabbed the cache. This is a beautiful spot and we might return again in the future for a bbq. We also got to see a few overs of cricket as a bonus. TFTC Tamykian. [126].
Found as part of the McWinRexOn team, a nice partial walk around the oval and there it is, While the rest of the team were sizing up a nearby structure the cunning Kiwi made the find.
Strange leaves in the carpark stuck to the bottom of our shoes and were slippery on the ground as it was wet in the area.

Found with McPhan, RexTrex and BigON, early in the morning on our way south. Yes the sticky leaves, that we all had to remove before we could climb back into the McPhan Adventra. Thanks Tamykian.
To the astonishment of the assembled team we were surprised that a cache name Stuart Park took us to a place called Stuart Park! An eerie coincidence? An alternative name that come to mind is 'the sticky leaf factory' - it feels funny walking along with big fat leaves sticking out from under your shoes. Found the cunningly hidden cache in short order and soon completed the bizo so that we could flap around on our leafy feet some more. Thanks Tamykian.
2211. Another cryptic cache name in this land of many cryptic cache names. The leaves where we parked made it sticky park - they were like glue. RexTrex diverted us while making the swoop.

Found this one whilst out caching with The-Don.
A great little park which takes you back to years gone back.
Great little grandstand and playground.
The-Don wandered off and quickly came back with the cache while I watched the geokids.
Thanks Tamykian

Great little park on a beautiful day. Would never had of visited if wasn't for the cache. Thx
We arrived and there was a big game on! Managed to sneak down and find the cache without being seen by the sports muggles up top. Cheers Gav [4020]
What a great spot, perfect for an afternoon stroll and play with the girls. Thoroughly enjoyable, great little cache.
This was going to be our 400th cache...
We wanted to do a famous M&M container.... We though it would be suitable...

Found by Marco on EXTREMELY hot day - so no muggles around to dodge! Nice park - might visit again in cooler weather.
