Cache owner does not appear to be an active geocacher. Cache possibly forgotten?

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. 20-Dec-11
Owner needs to check, only DNFs for last few months.

02-Dec-11
Looked for quite a while even used the hint which narrowed the search area but found only beer bottles.
Given the previous logs (one from someone who has previously found it) this one may be toast.

10-Oct-11
I stopped by while walking past today to have a look to see if this cache was still here. It may be but I couldn't see it, even though I've found it before, probably because the local residents have been dumping their tree cuttings and other garden rubbish over GZ.

17-Jul-11
Took a little bit of driving around to find a place to start our 'walkies'. Once at GZ searched high and low in all of the likely places, but after about 30mins gave up the search.

17-Jul-11
Looked for ages, unable to find. Did enjoy the 'walkies'.

23-May-11
After a bit of difficulty finding my way onto the track, cache was a nice easy find. TFTC.

16-Apr-11
A no show for us during our Holidays.

20-Mar-11
Painstakingly searched GZ, but didn't find it. Gave up after about twenty minutes.

26-Feb-11
Found it nice and easy. We enjoyed our walk as we stayed at the Caravan Park nearby. Nice area.
Thanks Da Boosh for the cache. Smile

26-Feb-11
Lived around here my whole life but never knew track was here. Tftc

20-Feb-11
On our way out to Austins Ferry so a couple of caches were in order. The track was hard to find and did a bit of bush bashing to get to it from where we parked. Track was quite muddy and slippery in sections but Jr geo soon had the area worked out. After asking me to remove all the leaves from one area decided that it was not there. cache just 30cms away from here so a quick find. TNLN TFTC

19-Feb-11
Found the entry to the park after a while, track was a bit slipprery after the heavy rain but cache was found without to much trouble TFTC

11-Jan-11
This was cache # 7 of 27 finds on a rather wet last day caching in Tassie. Once I found an entrance into the track it was a nice walk to GZ. My thanks to Da Boosh for the cache.

28-Dec-10
Nice if not slightly disconcerting walk in front of all those houses with the added suprise of a GC we were not expecting. TFTC. another hidden location now known to us.

26-Dec-10
Found GZ but spent ages digging through leaves and climbing under bushes and trees only to find it was so simple...DOH!!! TFTC Smile

20-Nov-10
Quick find once I had the courage to go through what "looked EXTREMELY like" someone's backyard! Also learnt what a bursaria was. TFTC. Had fun.

20-Nov-10
Definitely felt like we walked through someone's backyard. Found with a little distraction.

14-Oct-10
FOUND WHILE STAYING AT NEARBY C/PARK ON OUR C/VAN TOUR OF TASSIE TOP SPOT.TNLN

25-Jun-10
We enjoy these forshore walks, often not realising that they exist before geocaching took us there. A quick find. TFTC

20-Jun-10
Its not that we couldnt find it, we ran out of time towards the end of the day. Plus our GPS on the Iphone was playing up. Not ones to give up easily, we'll be back some time soon

17-Jun-10
A nice wee foreshore wander - in the dark

17-Jun-10
Felt a little dodgy going through the section/I mean reserve, but it seemed to work and got us to the track. Nice walk in the dark and an easy find. Nice sound of lapping water to accompany us. Cheers Gav [6106]

28-May-10
Came in from the north via Connewarre Bay Reserve.
Coords accurate to the metre for me!

26-May-10
Still not sure exactly what the clue is (we guessed it was a type of tree?) but after a short amount of looking we found its neat resting place making our fifth cache for the morning. TFTC

21-Apr-10
Found by Nick and Chloe

Thanks for the hint, turns out I was looking on the wrong side of the path and near the wrong tree LOL

Nice area that I never knew this existed. Love it

21-Apr-10
had trouble finding the way into this one... walked from the nearby caravan park and eventually gained access to the walking track via a block of vacant land Twisted once on the right track it was a quick find and sign while admirering the coastline...... enjoyable walk and good bit of exercise... left a gypsycacher pathtag....
cheers 4 da cache Da Boosh!

03-Apr-10
Great cache, waves were rolling in, very nice walk from falcon rd end. Thx:)

04-Jan-10
Took a little while to find and hint didn't help?

Very Clever....

Well, we don't need to read the description do we? After walking up and down streets we finally spoke to a local who directed us to the foreshore walk where we finally located GZ. We then made a casual stroll back to the caravan park coming out of the pathway we should have gone down in the first place!! Took Uluru Geocoin and left soldier. TFTC

18-Oct-09
Our last find for the day, we loved the walk around the point after we had trouble finding a way to access the coastline. We envied the local kids playing cricket and sitting on the foreshore, what paradise to grow up in. A little bit of a slushy walk had us near the cache and tackling the box thorn bushes, after copping a few thorns we widenned our search and found the cache. Swapped a mighty bean for a dinosaur and left a geocoin. SL TFTC

Nice little walk to retrieve this cache. Clue didn't help as we didn't have a clue what it meant. Sat on a rock in the water to log this one much to that other beetles horror who was convinced I'd drop it in the drink.

17-Aug-09
This area was an old fishing spot for me. Found the cache at 1353hrs as my 5th for the day and 128th o/all. Love the walk across the grass along the waters edge - and those damn ducks are still there, as is the neighbourhood watch dog. Thanks for this cache and cheers OldSaint

06-Aug-09
I drive around for a while looking for the least cringe-worthy way of accessing the foreshore close to the cache, and eventually found a nice one 300m north of the cache. I am, however, interested in doing the full walk at some stage and wonder if it might be a nice area for a multi... hmm, there's a thought...

There's still no sign of all the trackables currently listed for this cache. Mind you, the cache wouldn't really be big enough for them, so maybe they are in another cache and logged here by mistake.

TFTC.

Just had to get out of the house and pretend the weather was good. Actually is was even though it was a bit cold. Not one of the listed travel bugs was in the cache (did we find the right spot?). Our very old geodog decided to put up with the arthritis and enjoyed the romp - thanks for the cache TNLN.

25-Jul-09
left a capacitor

25-Jul-09
Worth waiting for the Iphone to settle then slowly move in directions indicated. If rushed, the GPS walked us around and area of about 20 metres.
Left a green epoxy capacitor. My daughter took the gold coloured australian soldier hat badge She mistook if for TB1T641, planning to take it to the memorial for a photo. THus this travelling item was not in the cache at the time. No doubt searchable for its location. We will drop the badge at another cache...

25-Jul-09
yeah walked past this one so many times. dad found this one i took the gold coloured australian soldier hat badge and takeing it to another cache.....

06-Jul-09
I stumbled my way through the jungle of grass and bushes that blocked the path down to the walking track. It felt weird being so close to people's yards but it sure beat taking the long way! The water was flat like a mirror today and I disturbed a few ducks swimming around near the cache. I had no idea about the hint but good coords put me right at the cache.

I dropped off a few coins that have already been collected.

Thanks, nice spot.

Found this one when I was Mrs Cheesy Pig. I have struck out on my own and am now logging the caches I found in my previous persona (but not the ones found only by Mr Cheesy Pig of course)! Let me know if you would like me to find it and log it again but under my new name.

19-Apr-09
Nice easy find on a track that needed another cache back on it.

It was such a beautiful day to have a meander by the river. TNLN Thanks for the excuse to take a lovely walk! Big Grin

06-Apr-09
Lovely cache! Left my bike at the Berriedale end, and walked round, it certainly does seem like walking through a backyard to get to the track. This is only the second time I've walked here and the first time was for the Ancient Artifacts cache a couple of years ago! At GZ, it was so warm and sunny and sheltered there that I sat down and basked for a while, it was glorious. Cache was neatly hidden. Thanks, Da Boosh, nice walkies.

05-Apr-09
Despite the wet weather, this was a lovely walk along the river. Found the cache easily and enjoyed the views. TNLN. TFTC

Great first cache Da Boosh !!
Loved the walk and even though I was nervous with Swampy watching me your coords and hide were great so I managed to find it without any problems.
Thanks Big Grin

Crikey! The things you do for a cache Smile
I approached from the Berridale side and like you said, it sure looked like I was wandering into someones back yard [:o]
In fact it felt like I was wandering through many peoples backyards.
Typically of property owners adjoining public land the boundaries tend to blur Twisted
But it was a nice walk on a sunny day and the cache was found safe and sound Big Grin

Found just before lunch. There is a cringe factor walking behind those houses, but I soldiered on and found the cache quickly.
Thanks.

08-Feb-09
There used to be another cache along here, but that was a while ago and we couldn't initially remember where the track started. Found in the first place Paulus looked.

Thanks DB

After spending part of the morning updating my home GSAK database and playing with my gc.com queries as Tassie will soon need 3, I decided to go for a drive with Lottie up to New Norfolk. It was muggy in the house, so I thought the drive would be cool. I was surprised when I saw this one pop up on the GPSr screen and thought I must be really out of it not to know this one was here. When I arrived and saw the log book I was surprised it was a FTF; it must have been published while I was playing with queries and GSAK!

Lottie enjoyed the walkies. She hadn't been on this track before, however old timers will know all the ways in! And I'm fairly certain I put the wrong date in the log book; I found it on the 31st not the 30th. Red Face

Thank you for the hide!
(I'll upload a photo or two when I'm on a faster connection.)
