Due to health reasons I haven't cached for years. Sorry for hogging a site without replacing the cache.
We made our way to GZ and sadly there has been a huge amount of flood water rushing through this area with the debris appearing over 3 metres high up into the trees. There was no sign of anything matching the hint let alone the cache, so sadly we think this cache might have been washed away.
Haha. Very well done. Love the Log. Mozzies as big as our geopup, Cooper but good find. Tftc.
After a fair amount of bush-bashing, I saw something a little different. I am pretty sure this is the right place and object as there were other cachers' signatures on it, so I left mine as well. Thanks ninasclan.
After finding my main target cache today, I decided to see if there were any other interesting looking caches around on my way out. This one certainly looked attractive so I set off towards it.
I may have been a little distracted by the rain-created creek I had to jump at one point, but I ended up taking a very demanding, roundabout route into the GZ. I refused to smash my way through very high and thick weeds, but still struggled to get through long grass, fearful of snakes at all times.
Thankfully, at last I was at the cache, and noticed something interesting immediately. I have seen this idea just a couple of times before, and it's a good one. My pen was fine to do the job so TFTC where everything seems to be in great nick. Needless to add, I found a much nicer way out!

My three month Brisbane adventure is continuing. Day 32, Redcliffe.
Today is very hot, but not quite as humid as it could be. I've loaded up my 4WD with GeoSchnauzers, ice water and geocaching kit. I'm off for a day of park and grabs, with the odd short walk for the GeoSchnauzers. I'm heading towards North Pine Dam and its lake today - I'm looking forward to a day of views, short walks, and some shade. I've got a big bottle of bubbly too. (Non-alcoholic, mineral water).
No 6 of 21 today. Thanks, ninasclan. Good one. Evil ideas cross my mind for when I start putting out caches. Have a favorite point. The GeoSchnauzers and I enjoyed the walk down here, mostly shaded, and I parked them under a tree while I searched out the cache. I found it, then obeyed instructions and signed the log. Good idea!! Only one finder didn't get the idea. that I know about.

An enjoyable day of caching with The Drovers where we did lots of walking through several parkland and bush area.. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nice one [^][^] Thanks to ninasclan.
Still camped at the showgrounds, and headed out again with Liz and Bruce.
We visited many parks and reserves, and found a wide variety of cache hides.
This cache was found quickly, and good to see something a little different.
Many thanks for placing this cache, ninasclan, for us and others to find.

Found this morning after a good run of DNF's. As with previous logs, mozzies galore, thorny bushes and a damp container. But a find is a find! tftc ninasclan
Wow! Nearly gave up after 1hr of winging kids! Mozzies, thorns, bugs. Probably the most exciting and satisfying cache to date!
Awesome log.
Awesome log.
This took some finding! Was a tough find for us but had a good time looking for it! Tftc
Didn't have the pen inside the cache but had one on my person so logged it anyway very different and very cute.. Thanks for thinking of so waging like this
Well let's just say dragging a crying 3 year old to this GZ was NOT the highlight of my day lol. The GPS on the iPhone was NOT having fun, and sent us in many different directions until I spotted something odd in a tree. It took a while for this poor old brain of mine to work out HOW to sign the log book, but once I did it was an easy sign. GS1 (aged 7) nabbed a spider swap and left another in it's place. Thanks so much!
The pen is missing and I don't have one on me to replace it. I will be prepared in the future.
Another one that took us back & forth - clever hiding spot although not sure if the log book has been removed since the last visitors a couple weeks ago (found signs of where it possibly should be).
Well we "russelzed" around for quite a while getting intimate with thorny vines, lantana and mozzies and answering calls from the geokids of "are you guys ok in there??" (no doubt due to our frequent exclamations [:o)] ) before we spied something out of place. Backtracking, we found the unique logbook and close by was the cache . We made a few treasure swaps and added our name to the log before returning the cache to its hidey hole. Tftc ninasclan
Took a while to find the right track. The growth has become quite dense in places. Nothing like mosquito bites, bugs in your hair, spider webs in your face & cut on your legs to help you remember you are alive & you are geocaching . Once the bush had been tamed, the cache itself was easily found. The log took a little longer .
I am sure there is a more economical way to approach this cache, lantana, asparagus ferns and bare legs - well what can I say!!
Having said that, finding this cache was heaps of fun, and a great idea for a log.
Thanks Ninasclan for a great cache.
Cheers

made the walk down to this one... a bit of rockhopping and we made our way to GZ... fighting off the native flora along the way... cache was easy to find... log was also easy to find although we read to much into it to begin with before realising what we were meant to do Cute idea!

Not your average log book, it certainly does some "Ruzzeling".
The container is definately there, it was very obvious from some metres away.
I like caches with a difference.

Found the cache but not the log:( , most stuff was wet, we really did rustle in the bushes finding this one, geo baby loved it in the backpack. TFTC
Looked around GZ for a few minutes with not much luck, then focussed on some faint geotrails - at the end of one of these trails I looked over at something and thought that it looked a little strange. Made me way over to that point, and could not find any sign of a container, however, after looking at the clue I quickly found the log still safe and secure We did find what looked like a really good thing to hide the container under, so it looks like the container may be missing.
Regardless, we signed log and walked on to the next one
TFTC ninascan - I like the idea for the log

Got to GZ and started looking around with no luck. Eventually Matt spotted something that could have the cache under it. No cache container but we did find the log . Interesting logbook . Signed our names . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH ninasclan .
Out with IolantheK & teamdfl for a pleasant afternoon caching on bikes [^]
Found this one on my own as IolantheK & teamdfl had this one in the bag (although they did help point me in the right direction).
A little difficult to find as the lantana is taking over. I think I've turned over a new leave with this cache and so we moved onto the next cache for today

Found it together with omaster and membsec on a nice geocaching trip. WEll first time for me going in the bush. I am not used to find caches in such places. TFTC
Found on todays Geocaching tour. Plan was geocaches in the morning. Then Alma park Zoo in the evening. This one was found quite easily. Found with lenicka.second and with membsec watching. TFTC

Found this one easily enough after making my way through some sharp spiky vines. Was unable to find the logbook but took a picture of the cache. Its only now that I realise what logbook I was supposed to have signed. TFTC
Today was a trip to the northside for a couple of reasons. I was passing through and decided I just could not pass this one by.
I was lucky to find a vague track that leads to this cache. Unfortunately, there was no log book inside. A few rusty swaps but no log book.
Thanks for the cache though.

Another great day for some geocaching. Soon had the cache found. SL (something a little different than usual) TFTC

Geodaughter 2 and I (carrying Geodaughter 3) walked around this one a couple of times, following the tracks, until I realised that it must be somewhere 'in there'. Once that was settled we bushbashed our way into the GZ and quickly spotted the cache. The logbook was quickly found too and signed. Unfortunately, it looks like a number of the logbook 'pages' are fading, so many entries have been lost .

Luckily we found the short way in, even though it felt like we were wandering down someones driveway . After a short bush bash and muddy slip and slide we were at the cache. Shortly after that the 'logbook' was signed. TNLNSL TFTC
Cache number 6 for me for the day. At this point I was caching with Iolanthek. We parked nearby and went for a stroll through the wet forest. We got to GZ and found the cache straight away but where is the log.... OH that's awesome!!!! Thanks for the cache!! It was lots of fun

Out and about with Net88.
A bit of a soggy walk to GZ, but we came across the hide easily enough. Ummm, something's missing... Oh, read the Description! Now what? Where? Ahh, there! Oh so clever. TFTC, ninasclan Most unusual. Definitely a Favourite Point

Very dense bush to access this one - even more difficult to push a bike through! I recommend long sleeves and pants to avoid the scratches!
It's a pity I forgot my machette today it was fun going for a bit of a bush bash. Found the cache without a problem, then stupidly looked in every other place except the place that had the log. When I finally found it I felt a bit silly, 'OH, there it is!'. Definately a unique idea. Love it!

Quite an intriguing cache. Found it OK then proceeded to work out the log. Eventually we twigged and added our name to some of the other likely suspects that had preceded us. Very clever.
The sky was sending down a steady stream of rain when I found an access point but I was determined that it wouldn't stop me.
An interesting walk in . I thought I was walking down a private driveway.
It wasn't long before the GPS was 'telling me it was over there. A bit of a detour around the lantana and I arrived at the search spot.
The cache was easy to locate and I poured the water out of it.
I spied the location for the logbook but I couldn't see any previous logs. A quick call to a previous finder and I then looked a bit closer and made out a few scribbles. I think the recent weather hasn't been kind to it.
I put my mark as best I could.
thanks for showing me an interesting idea.

Interesting cache. Haven't seen one like this before. Worth doing, but the cache container was full of rust marks and wet. Not very pleasant. We were going to drop off a TB, but then thought better of it. The location was also probably not the best for someone in shorts and sandles. TFTC.
Love it! Ha ha ha, really great idea!
Forgot the special part of this cache and walk back to do it right!
The container needed to be tipped out... but in this cache, that isn't really a problem! Took TB and rinsed it in the currently flowing stream nearby (don't expect to be able to walk from here to the 'dam' cache at the moment! It's a torrent!)

After a very spiky trek through the bush was about to give up before we got bitten! TFTC.
Now this is a cache with a difference...[^]
Out & about with Gunnie69 today & we ended up down the gulley looking for this cache..
After scrambling around the brambles we arrived & GZ and began our search...
After circling for a bit GPS settled & led me the the container - him strange no log book
But wait what had the description said.....
Look here there & around then - A hah tricky -a log with a difference - I like it...
We soon had made our mark & headed back yup the trail

Love the concept on this one. Certainly a different outlook on things and an unconventional log...
Kaisho53 were still doing the rounds and found ourselves here. That's what happens I guess... We wandered the path and found ourselves within 10m of GZ. OK, so we gotta move over there... Crap, that doesn't look good... A quick glance around identified an alternative route in that proved much more user friendly and on arrival, Kaisho53 spotted the container. But... he couldn't find the log. A search through "the above" revealed nothing at first until something caught his eye and he advised me on what to do... Ohhh, that is cool I thought...
Names etched in the right place, I dropped a couple of trackables into the container and he headed back to the path.
A neat idea, it gets a favourite point from me guys... [^]
Cheers ninasclan.

No probs finding cache - I can imagine if you came at this wrong, you could be in strife. Did the exchange then started the hunt for the log - hmmm, not there, not here, - wait on that doesn't look right - ahhh! now how do I write on this - pencil was all I had. Great idea!
Took travel bug and left a puzzle to keep you busy. Now to get out of here before the mozzies carry us away.

Found the cache...along with nasty spiders. Definately overgrown... interesting log, I noticed the flora, then I saw the zip ties but I'd lost my pen.
Well being the second attempt and getting some help from a fellow catcher I wasn't going to let this one get the better of me. The foliage was massively over grown and having the bike with me was a very bad idea. After trying several different ways into the GZ I got there in the end. Found the Cache but a bit hung up on the log book. Ah this doesn't look rite. Thank you for the cache.
We found the cache, but had a significant fight with the lantana first . There is also a spider that has taken up residence in the little hubby hole the cache is hiding in. Not a small spider either, and it scared the daylights out of our geokid (2) who loves retrieving caches. The contents of the cache, except for the pen, are rusted and not so nice. Grabbed the pen and signed the 'log', and set out on foot for the other two caches in this part of the bush. Thanks for the original cache idea.
I have no idea how the other cache inspired this ... but anyway ... cache found in reasonably good order, although the slithering in the bush, and across the track directly in front of me at one point was a little more adrenalin than I had planned on. 2m or so long, maybe 3cm diameter most of it's length, dusty brown grey all over it's back (I didn't look underneath). Any elapidae-ists out there?
The cache container has obviously been wet recently, however I can report the primitive logbook was in perfect condition. Signed. Lovely.
P.S. Sadly, between this cache and two others nearby (all walking distance) I lost my clip-on sunnies. If anyone sees them I'd love them back? Or I guess, never mind, they're only $20 or so sigh, gotta brave the shopping centres again this week ... that's what annoys me the most I think.

Found ..yep its a bit overgrown there, found the container ..was a bit murky..think the floods have been through.was able to sign your very unusual log [very clever]but a lot of signatures have faded..gr8 Thanks
Great Cache. A bit of bush bashing required but well worth the search. Found and signed. Left $5 keyring. TFTC.
at 15:37. We spent a bit of time driving round looking for a way in to the area without success. We gave up and went for Robbie's Tree instead. Then we realised that the track we were on led to Ruzzelz in the Bush.
The last few metres have become pretty overgrown. We found what had to be the log but spent some time searching before we realised how to sign it.
TFTC Ninasclan. This clever installation is fine.

Won't log this as a find as I didn't sign the log book. Opened the cache and found it empty of a log book and only a pen and large rusty badge. I even took a couple of photos to email to the owner. Now I got home and was able to read the complete notes I realise there was more to this one than meets the eye.
Thanks
Thanks
At first I signed a leaf, as I couldn't find the logbook. On my way out I did some thinking and ended up playing by your rules. Interesting to say the least. Cheers from the Browngang
This was an interesting one to find, the cache was also an interesting way to do a cache. TFTC
Talk about bush bashing. Brought our neighbours kids, what a way to introduce geocaching. They loved it. TFTC.
Second attempt to find as it getting dark yesterday and I didn't want to get lost or fall over. Emptied the water out in the cache and signed the log. TNLN TFTC Thanks ninasclan
Reminiscent of a Scrub Bull cache. Thorns, thick scrub, no tracks. Found with Team DFL, attacked GZ from several different angles. Found by getting down low to avoid being grappled by a nasty bush. Great log book!! TFTC
A perfect cache. No real trail to GZ. GPS refusing to settle. All manner of prickly scratchy things. Worth the hunt for the prize TFTC
Our GPS told us to walk 90 meters into the bush with no tracks around and we decided that we were not doing that today
Clever cache . I like d the concept of this one very much. Unfortunately the container needs some serious TLC . Give you an A+ for creativity though.

Oh dear Oh dear !!! Flood Debris everywhere. Had a bit of a look at GZ but decided to leave it. Thanks for showing me the flood damage.
