Day 15 of our NZ-Road Trip brought us up to Picton.
We found some beautiful Caches along the road and some nice spots.

#941 - On the way from Havelock to Marahau we stop here for a short while. After taking two, three breafs we are looking for the cache. With the clue it's a short found. TFTC.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
After a night in Nelson we then made our way to Kaikoura via Blenheim, picking up a few caches along the way. A quick find here, TFTC!

Very punny. Love it Have driven past this one SO many times. Even stopped one day, but there were too many people about. Got it now. Thanks!!
A good spot to stop and stretch the legs... Log has obviously been wet but is dry as a bone today ... Thanks Samy! t4TC:)
Log too big for container as it is very damp.... Needs maintenance. A nice wee town in a beautiful valley. TFTC
Today we had to get over to South Island to Picton, so we took the ferry in the morning.
We decided to drive the scenic route via "Queen Charlotte Drive " in direction to Nelson. We stopped from time to time to have a great view or to log the cache beside the road.
TFTC and greetings from Dresden (Saxony), Hallu+Wolle

TFTC. Was headed to picton after a nice stop at Hori bay. Surprisingly no sand flies!
Yes a nice little reserve and a nice easy find. We quite like caches hidden like this one. Nicely covered.
[green]Day 3 of our 5 day Easter caching roadtrip. Today we are heading from Blenheim to Nelson.[/green]
Notebook abit tattered but still useable. Baggie had a large hole in it from the pencil which was in the bag. It needs sharpening but we didnt cos it will just end up back in the bag which we replaced with a new one. We thought a second about taking the pencil out but didnt. Thanks for the cache

TFTC. This was more of a park and grab than a raid today. A beautiful summers day and a nice spot to stop.
Together with my family on a vacation trip to New Zealand. Starting at Auckland airport on transfer to Christchurch we went for a roundtrip exploring the south island. This was one of many caches we found while visiting so many nice and interesting places thanks to all the caches why I want to send a thank you to all CO for the work spent. TFTC.

This cache was found as part of my epic as move down south to Christchurch from Auckland - A drive that involved around 3,000km, 350 caches, 14 days, and a bit of a detour through East Cape, Gisbourne, Napier/Hastings, some back roads in the Wairarapa, Cape Pallisier and Nelson/Tasman as well as every CANZ cache along the way that I was still missing. (Hence my excuse for the not as interesting log as I usually try to make mine.) But thanks to every awesome amazing as cacher that placed caches along these roads, you made my trip awesome, and very cache happy!
Decided to take the scienic more pretty coastal route to Nelson along the coast, and collected up this cache along the way.
TFTC!!

On our trip on the South Island of NZ we found over 100 geocaches and this geocache did it part to that. Thanks for leading us here and discovering all the different hiding places.
After a trip to Nelson town the weather is not improving. We need to be in Picton this evening so have decided as there is not much else to do in clouds and drizzle to cache our way there.

It's really interesting where you can find public toilets. I did not believe them to be there until I turned the last corner around the bushes and the tree and finally saw them. The spot is nice, but sadly has no river access. Thanks.

Found at 5:30 AM GAFF1 in the company of Phetlern. We camped at a similar reserve on the other side of town last night - and we are happy to say that it was a tad nicer than this one. Was also right next to a clear running river.
Thanks samy!

Our caching time with Pprass today was controlled by the departure time of the ferry as we left the South Island heading across the Strait. Our first for today on our way to Picton.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt samy!.

During our trip downwards to Kaiteriteri we found some geocaches on our way, this is one of them, TFTC to all owners
Made a quick stop here and found the cache. Thx. Visiting from Arizona, USA
Kids loved finding this one - Like the description says, a great place to stop with the thermos.
Found quickly. Log was a little damp, plastic bag was full of holes, found a spare in the car and replaced it TFTC
Quick find on a trip to Blenheim. No time to stop for lunch today - it used to be a favourite spot when the kids were small.
Found it on a cold, foggy morning on the way to Blenheim. Nice easy one for the kids.
Out today to do the "30 in a day" component of MGSc we decided to do a round trip from Nelson through Spring Creek, and up the Wairau Valley and back home. This was 15/44 we found, bypassing a few where we intend to return. We managed to dodge the worst of the weather and easily achieved our aim. TFTC
Today a run with Holymu was planned to achieve the '30 finds on a day' challenge for the MGSc. Although just one day we enjoyed all four seasons weatherwise. Total tally 44 and a new personal best. No dificulty finding the caches and signing as the day proved almost muggle-free. TFTC
My first cache on the South Island of New Zealand! Logged on 09/03/2012 17:30h. TFTC
All good now with a new replacement log book, PLEASE could you roll up as best as you can and leave the pencil out of the bag. On our next visit will make sure the cache container is bigger to hold the log book or make it into a micro.
Thanks
Thanks

Due to the log book being unusable in previous logs comments will disable until a decision is made to renew.Unable to get there now that there has been alot of flooding and slips around Nelson Region in the few days and access out is limited.
Quick find while on the way to Picton. Log is in a bad state of repair and could do with being replaced. TFTC
We stopped for the night there so we had to do the cache. Log a bit damp so we sat it on the dash in the aun for a bit to try & dry it out. Nice hide.TFTC
A quick find in an interesting reserve. The log was damp due to the log bag and associated desicant not being in the econtainer but instead sitting on a branch nearby. I have now returned all objects to their rightfull place. TFTC
