As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
As the MEGA is this weekend I am archiving these now. Please remember:
If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

This should be a quick find as only one or two places it could be hidden. So I'm guessing its been muggled. Will check it out over the next week or so. Will disable cache in the meantime.
Caching with Sproggles and Conkycon. Had a good bash through all the likely spots but no luck. Oh well, great spot and awesome views up here TFTC!
A good day to go for a walk despite a bit of rain. Still able to enjoy the views.
Nice and easy find TFTC, retrieved a TB as well

Beautiful day along this walkway today. Met 6 cows on track who were thankfully more afraid of me than I was of them. Great views of new motorway and whole coast. Thanks for putting this cache here.
One of my favourite local walks and finally got around to getting this cache. Beautiful summers day, what better way to spend a Sunday morning. Cache as it should be, clean and dry. TFTC
What great views from GZ! Interesting to see the progress of the new Expressway, it's certainly taking shape. Thanks for placing a cache here - well worth the climb to get here.
Cache # 2,651 - had been hoping for a better weather day today, on a big day out with Crystal Fairy. However it was not to be in the morning so we decided to do a series of shorter, but still demanding, walks. This was the first of them, and the weather held out through this cache (which CF had found more than 5 years ago). Amazingly there was no water in the cache despite not being found for 6 months, obviously a well constructed and weather-proof one. All good. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Good that it is a cooler day with a good breeze! That was a bit of a climb, fair terrain rating. But MSP thought she had been up flatter fire breaks. The reward of course is great views and we tried to work out some of the islands named in the description. Took Vegemite truck TB. Tftc
Great (if somewhat breezy) day for a stroll up here, my phone made it 1030 meters car to cache, so that's what I'll count towards the DGSC challenge. Fantastic views up here today - I left the Jeep TB here so it can watch the new express-way being built until someone else picks it up. TFTC.
Nice wander up the hill for this one.
Out on a bit of a cache-hunt and hill-walk with the youngest geo-son.
TFTC!

Macfam41 found it just as the weather TTS. Apart from that nice hide. Cache in good condition. 3rd find today.
One of my target caches for the day and one I've had my eye on for a while. Very pleasant walk with fantastic island views on a still hot sunny day. Cache in good order, and I note it hasn't been found for a while. TFTC Clippie, #7292
Even better view from up here. Cache in good order. Uplifted dinosaur TB. Thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot and TFTC
Nice spot, enjoyed the hike up hill. Recommend a towel for sunny days and a towel for rainy days. TFTC. Dropped off a dinosaur!
After all the bad weather it was nice to get out for a walk or two. Took some nice photos of the coast from the top of the escarpment. Cache quickly found. TFTC
Also grabbed this on on my walk up the hill today. Nice view of both islands. In : TB. TFTC. Sherlock Hood.
Find #1570. An enjoyable walk with great views although a little rain threatening from the south. Had already been to My One Tree Hill and was collecting the other caches on my return journey. Stopped here for lunch; no one around at all. SL TFTC
9.00am. Great walk that got the lungs working. Overcast but still great views. A favourite point for the views.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
We were hoping to have nice sea breezes to cool us down as it was another warm and sunny afternoon, but the breezes came and went, and we got very hot as we slogged or way to the top. Good weather means great views, and we were well rewarded.

#4826.There was more of a climb than I was expecting to get here. Quick find once we got to GZ, and great views of the various islands. Would have been a good day for a trip out to Kapiti. TFTC.
Thanks. Left TB.

Was hoping to complete this one as part of the Peak Performance challenga, but the nearby Geodetic marker is on private land. Still - a nice walk and excellent views this morning. Dropped of Bruce the Shark to look over his friends swimming below! TFTC.
A great day for an enjoyable stroll up the hill - thanks for bringing me here to enjoy the view. TFTC
Walking to this cache we met Fozzmiester, our first encounter with another cacher, stopped for a chat then on to the Cache. Quick n easy find.
A great day for a walk up the hill to the cairn to get this cache. Met some faster walkers at the cairn visiting from England & chatted about the area & possible interesting spots for them to visit. The views were as stunning as I remember, having walked this regularly a no. of years ago when training for tramps ! thanks for bringing me here Clippie took tb
Enjoyed the views - thanks. Headed along to the next cache north before going back to the car. TFTC

Excellent walk today along the ridge, winter temps to start, but lovely hot sun too! For Lani. TFTCSL.
Founds on a walk with my sister and her family. Awesome views and an enjoyable time had by all. TFFC
Not altogether sure why I have not done this cache sooner. Found myself up here this afternoon looking for another cache, and decided to search for this one as well. Shock horror didn't seem have the details in my GPS, a quick call to the help desk and I soon had the co-ords by way of a text. Lovely views for up here today, well worth the walk. TNLN SL TFTC
Walked on to find this one after finding the cache at the June Rowland Lookut lower down. Spectacular view here, it was right on sunset. A quick find in the first place I looked. Signed log, TFTC and for bringing me to this interesting walkway.
Finding myself with a bit of spare time after a meeting in Kapiti, I thought a gentle stroll to this cache might be in order. Well, not so gentle perhaps! A fantastic day for coming up here, I can confirm all islands were present and correct. In fact it was so clear, I'm I must almost have been able to see the West Island
A nice easy find after catching my breath.

I have lived just below this point for over 20 years and its the first time to see it from this angle. TFTC
Moaned heaps to get to cache. Always pleased when I get there and wonder why I make so much noise about it. TFTC
Far too hot for the King part of our team today...I think he wanted to just lie in the shade of the tree at the top and not move. Beautiful walk on a gorgeous day.
What a beautyfull walk! I sweted like hell when I arrived at the cache site, but i was well paid with the view over to Kapiti Island!
Thank you fgor bringing me up here!!!

Enjoyed the walk up to Island Views on a fantastic sunny day. Fortunately there was some breeze otherwise it would have been too hot! Found cache without any problems, took TB that had been sitting there for a while. On the way back, said hello to some black and white cows. Thanks Clippie for the cache and bringing us here.
Have been wanting to do this one for quite a while. Finally got the courage up to tackle the hill again. Found after a good workout climbing up the hill. Took some photos of the views. SL TN left TB TFTC
Southerly blasted today. but still awesome views. great hike. SL. + wall spider magnet - bouncey ball. TFTC
Well after the Roland lookout, the male half of CF and the newbie headed on up to the cache.. Puff, puff, pant, pant.. Finally got there and found the cache in good condition..Thanks for showing us these views on an absolutely magnificent day...
Having helped Bkj97 to find many of his caches since May 2009 I thought it was time that Bcj97 (previous name) should evolve and register my finds to date as Little Blue Hen. Grunty walk but worth it for the views.TFTC
Bit of a grunt with Bcj97 and Richargr to view the sunset. Superb views and alpacas to burn (or view). TFTC Left minnie mouse and a new pen. TFTC:)
Nice Walk. Impressed by Picnic Table just after the start of the track. Must have cost a fortune!
Added Travel Bug (5Z3PW7) Thanks.

Oh well another great little spot, a brisk walk and a great climb, was totally worth it in the end, just got higher and higher and finally got to the GZ, admired the view today, a really nice day to be up there, pity I left the camera in the car, might have to come back, Took Lello Travel Gnome Geocoin and WMS '04 - Honda Civic Hatchback, TFTC LNSL (696)
Finally got around to this one -it's only a couple of k's from work, but part of that is on foot and steep!
Enjoyed the walk/climb on a Sunday afternoon -great views from the top! Swapped Red-handed GC for Lello Travel Gnome GC and Honda Civic Racing TB (first cache for some time that was large enough to take it). TFTC!

Woohoo, first to log! But not first to find...
Got up very early (for me) and picked up chocl8~halo (and said hi to Clippie ), and off to the cache we went.
Good hard slog, spectacular views. Found cache fine.
TFTC, well worth the exercise for the views, didn't know the track was there.
+ 'Caught Red Handed' GC
Cheers,
Blarghster.
