Cache hasn't been found in just over 1 year with a few DNF's - needs to be checked out,.
Found the spot based on the hint and looks like it may be gone. Nice old bridge next door.
Yeah, got covered in sticky beaks and cobwebs getting this find like everyone else, but was fun nonetheless!
Found with My Dad (DJANT) and my Brothers (dart16 & Jedi Anakin) I have my own account now and am trying to catch up to the boys Thanks for the cache.
Did a dance with some not-so friendly farmers friends but soon had cache in hand. TFTC

After driving up to Gloucester this morning, I headed back to Newcastle and stopped in to this one along the way. A nice short detour to GZ where the cache was found in the likely spot.

First of the day wending our way south from Frying Pan, thought the village looked interesting after a long detour around Dungog due to bridge-works. After a sustaining coffee we searched and nabbed this one. Not fussed about the cobwebs in my hair though!
Thanks Graham Cookie
Thanks Graham Cookie
After having a fun filled and very hectic time finding caches and catching up with friends at the Queensland Outback Geo Muster 2019 we are now taking a bit more leisurely trip home but also grabbing the occasional cache.
After staying at Robin's Nest last night we are heading south again.
Today's weather had turned a little nasty on us and rather than doing a barn dance it would have been more appropriate to be singing in the rain. We headed off to gz and were happy when we located the cache container as we could add our name to the log without getting wet.
and we headed back to the nice dry car.
Thanks Graham Cookie for the cache.

We got hit by the road closed on our way from frying pan back into Dungog and had to detour out out out and around. Found this this cache on the way back. Thanks so much for the cache.
....
The beautiful puppy geo art up Maitland way has been tempting me for months!, so when Joolay, Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and SpecimenX started to brew plans for a trip, I knew I was in. Making a whole long weekend of it, we’ve hunted down much needed counties on Friday, diverted to Jasmers, caught up with locals at events and picked up some extra cool little trails and night caches, all the while keeping our eye on the geo art prize So wonderful to have the chance to get away for some caching fun, and to catch up with some local cachers whilst we’re about. Thanks so much to everyone who has invested in these caches to make our wonderful weekend away a possibility. Thanks for the Cache.

Headed to the Maitland area with fitzy_1965 & SpecimenX for an extra long weekend of caching.
Day 3 saw us joined by nibletricecakes and Joolay again. After yesterday's mammoth effort we took it slow and headed up to Frying Pan caching along the way. On our way back into Dungog we discovered that the main bridge was closed for maintenance so had to do another huge loop just to get back. This cache was along the way.
All caches where found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. Logs were either signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers, CC, Kapital Krunchers or KK.

19,120. Found as part of the Capital Crunchers Team (fitzy_1965, minniek, specimenX, nibletricecakes and Joolay) during the Canberra Invasion of Maitland region over the long weekend.
Day 3 of our invasion. And after a HUGE day yesterday we had our sights set on heading up and getting Frying Pan for our JASMER, plus other caches as they appeared on our route. After finding Frying Pan we headed back to Dungog the scenic route due to bridgeworks. Nevermind - we got 2 bonus caches along the way. This was a nice quick find.
Thanks Grahame Cookie !!

Today was the day we were heading up to Frying Pan to finally get that early month ticked off for my Ausmer. It was supposed to be an quick trip up but we ended up 4WD'ing the entire circuit after looking for a Trig up the back. And then we had a closed bridge so again a detour. So we decided to pick this up on the way back to Dungog.
Up in Maitland with Nibletricecakes, Fitzy1965, MinnieK and Specimen X, to do the Dogs Head going by the name of Capital Crunchers

Off we go on another adventure around the area and today's priority was to grab the golden oldie Frying Pan (GCF1) and then anything else which we had on our list We stopped by this one on our detour as one of the bridges in the area was closed for roadworks. Anyway, this was a quick find for us here! Signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers or CC to save log space.
Thanks for the hide, Grahame Cookie

Danced along to ‘Working Class Man’ as we searched for the cache....or maybe it was really the cows mooing in the paddocks.
Thanks Grahame Cookie for the placement.

I'd been driving for too long and stopped at Stroud Road for a much-needed coffee and feed. Feeling revived, a cache was in order so I took a little country detour, braved the thistles and found the cache. Thanks Grahame Cookie.
On the return home trip with kingfisher_au, we stopped for a few caches. This was the first for the day and after realising we needed to be lower the cache soon appeared. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.
on our way back from a caching event at riverwood downs thought we would do the dance thanks
After attending a nearby colourful and fun event it was time for some geocaching. After leaving todays geocaching companions, Aussieben, Beary_Unicorns, Brother Colin and Kingfisher_au, BearyUnicorns and myself headed towards home, grabbing a couple of caches on the way. This cache was found relatively easily, log signed and TBs visited.
Find No: 6861. On the way home to Newcastle from the Hawaiian Shirts Galore event at Riverwood Downs, found with Yella Belly, thanks for the cache Grahame Cookie!!
While heading home after a fun Hawaiian Event weekend managed to find this one . Did a little dance then headed home with another smiley.
Thanks Graham Cookie for the cache.

We were staying at Branxton and doing some caching between there and Maitland before joining up with friends for a weekend retreat. It was a fun morning and a successful one as well. Each cache found had its log signed before it was returned to its hiding place. Good co-ords and info on the cache page meant it was a quick find. Many thanks to Grahame Cookie for this contribution to the caching game.
TFTC,
On our way home after a week up north. Detouring via this area to log a found cache in the Dungog Council area, I wonder why. Quick find here and good to see a big container.
Visited trackables.

On a road trip down from Qld to participate in the Oz GeoMuster Event and pulled over to look for this one whilst in a convoy with team RoddyC. Plenty of water around but no need to get wet here, nice hideout and TFTC Grahame Cookie.

On our way to Dungog and other places today. Our first after a DNF back at heatherbrae. A quick find. Did some cleaning up by removing rusty swaps, mouldy soap, dirt leaves etc. Log slightly damp but signable otherwise cache is ok but would seem not entirely waterproof. Thanks Cookie
Up this way for a few days, picking up a few caches along the way. Nice drive to get here too! TNLN, TFTC.
Another quick find on my drive today. Parked at the wrong end of the bridge but luckily there were no cars as I crossed back over.
Not much water in the creek at the moment.

Found it. Log book has suffered some water damage though, some evidence the water under the bridge has gotten quite high recently.
We stopped over the other side of the bridge and made our way across the old timber bridge. The cache was found nicely tucked away after a bit of searching in other places. TFTC
We were driving to Gloucester after a day in Dungog and visiting the southern part of the Barrington Tops National Park, finding a great short walk there. I pulled over just before running into Jimmy and crossed the bridge, waiting to be hit by a car given the way most people seem to drive around there. At GZ I was lucky to look in just the right place and soon had the cache logged. Thanks Grahame Cookie for placing this cache way out here, a good one too.
Today is the fourth day of our little holiday in Nelson Bay. We decided to take a drive along Bucketts Way for something different and to find a few specific caches when we noticed this one pop up on our GPS as we were returning to our accommodation, so we took a little detour. We found the cache easily and with our name in the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Grahame Cookie for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

We had a really great weekend camping/caching in Chichester last weekend, I had the Bucketts Way half in mind as a way home should the time be available. It wasn't, so today we decided to drive and cache our way to Gloucester. We had a great day, noted a few places to come back to, and others to set off from in the future.... only 1 DNF too.....
Boy, the old bridge has seen better days, I'm surprised it hasn't been completely washed away.... Again, the farmers friends were in plague proportions, but we found the cache without any problems. Cache contents pretty damp unfortunately.

We drove up to Gloucester today to cache on the Bucketts Way. We found 9 caches, to get our total to 499, ready for 500 next week!
Hmmm, spent longer trying to get the farmer's friends off than finding the cache! Also shows how and where the creek when flooded deposits debris ... TFTC

The Booo's found this cache!
fter spending a few days in Port Macquaire we where heading home using the back roads. Another cache that we made harder than it should have been, and after back and forthing and scrambling up and down rocks finally located it, signed the log and headed back on our way.
Thanks Grahame Cookie for placing this cache

Jimmy Barnes used to live not far from our place. We're up here for the night grabbing. Some Grand father caches, and we grabbed this one on our journey. Found the contents a little damp and smelly, a fresh isn't up wouldn't hurt. TFTC
found on our way to Singleton. Was nearly skittled by a logging truck so take care on the road.

Found it with Austrees on our way to a reunion in the Hunter valley. Reminds me of a cache in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. TFTC
A nice cool spot to relax on a warm day A little concerned that the cache will wash away in another flood - any way of securing it? Just a suggestion

The name of this one amused me [:]. It was pretty messy under the bridge, but eventually the cache was found, tucked away from the debris.
