Not the first tree tree we looked at. Now have several grazes on my legs. Go for the easier obvious tree. It took little Midaho no time at all to find this one. T4TC
Was able to drive reasonably close by, then a short stroll to the most likely tree and BINGO not one but two caches Is this worth two smileys? Very confusing. It certainly received two signatures TFTCes TeamSaltmarsh
Required a couple of tries but finally found it on a post Christmas lunch walk. Good hide!
Nice little hidey hole. I forgot to take tweezers but didn't need them today. The fishing line no longer exists..maybe it is not needed. TFTC TeamSaltmarsh.
Searched for ages over logs and tree branches, once found couldn't believe we didn't see it (: very good one indeed
Wow!!! The cache lives After the 2 floods this area was hit by a tornado. The tree hiding the cache is no more! It was felled by the tornado but miraculously the cache was found lying on the ground beside the stump of the original tree! We have reattached cache to the stump hopefully away from muggles who have been stickybeaking the tornado area. This cache is definitely a never ending story!!!!
Today is our last day of caching in this area, we are heading from Tocumwal to Cobram & return.
Found the likely tree with a beautiful eye socket but no cache stared back at me.
Thanks any way kylesaltmarch

From outside the Police Station I could see GZ and I did not want to take the swim
I gave up on finding this cache...... until.... another nearby cache got me to the other side of the creek
Free of the tyranny of swimming I strolled freely along nice dry trails to reach GZ on the correct side of the creek
Standing at GZ staring at the GPS I could see I had arrived.
I looked up and there staring me in the face was a cache [:o]
Well that was easy
I put the cache back where it had been and gave it a little extra camo so the muggles don't find it
TFTC and stroll.

Thanks to the previous finder saying it was 8m out I was able to find it as soon as I looked in the correct tree.
Finally found this one but had to expand search pattern - according to my GPS the coords were 8m off so while not in a different satte, certainly in a different tree!
Found a likely tree and a likely hole but no amount of poking/hooking would retrieve it.
Maybe next time.

I got two for the price of one here. I signed this one and the other one looked brand new with a clean log sheet so I signed it as a FTF in case it is a GCA cache.
Thanks kylesaltmarsh

Nice hide, batteries went flat in gps just I was heading up to GZ. Found easily, logged and headed out ... TFTC
When we arrived we were suprised to see an empty spot at eye level where we thought the cache would go but no cache ??? we then continued to search other parts when Geodaughter was scratching around the ground with a stick and says "hey whats this" the cache container had fallen out of its hide so we signed the log and put it back not far off the "looks you in the eye" spot. It might need checking if it needs to be in the spot. TFTC.
Sorry its taken so long to log the cache, the dog really did eat my note book ripped it to pieces we picked up all the bits and put it away in the cupboard and forgot about it. Today after spending ages to sticky tape it back together I can now start logging, the ones I can still read anyway, the others will have to wait to we get back and check the log books.

Found in the company of the Earthbound family, walenators and the Farmers 5. Enjoyed getting to this cache as the tracks are wet and muddy. Plenty of sliding fun to be had! We were scratching our heads searching for this one. Dad complained his secretary (Mum) wasn't keeping up on the iPad and hadn't read him the cache description. He reckons he would have found it faster! "Oh and don't tell your motherI said that!"
Out for a weekends caching with Mr Coffee and the Coffee clan as we approached we remembered having had a DNF on this caches predecessor. After searching all possible hides it looked like this one would elude us as well. We decoded the hint and had another look. We then read the other logs thanks to the Coffees Iphone and found we were looking at the wrong location a shift of sites and we had the cache in hand very quickly. If others want to try s35 54.918 e145 41.293 it may help.
We got a shock when we opened the tube and found no log, as it was only found a short time ago, so we left our names on a piece of paper. We have since found another of your caches and think may be we missed the micro log that could have been stuck in the bottom of the container, we hope the next finder has a look.
Thanks kylesaltmarsh for replacing the cache and the hunt.

Found during our early morning assault of the local area with Farmers 5 & the Walenators. A bit of 4WD fun down by the river, got to love that. EB Nano wants more puddles to splash and slide through! The Chief commented that he should have read the logs before searching as they would have found it a lot faster! TFTC
A short drive to GZ soon had our 3 teams in search mode.
A read of the previous logs helped greatly and we soon nabbed the micro in its well hidden spot.
Many thanks for the cache.

Found with Fred6603 & Hinklenator on a trip around town before the Bush Bash event. Very tricky hide but co-ords were a good 19m away, and only spotted thanks to an evil eyed Fred. TNLNSL TFTC kylesaltmarsh,

Managed to get the GeoExplorer to this one through some rather muddy tracks. Have found this before, it was actually my very first cache find so i found it was a fitting find number 1999. Why have i re logged it? The cache has changed in both position and type, so is a completely new hide, although on the original GC number. Logged with permission of the owner with the above details explained.
Last time i did this was with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671) and we were able to cross from the Barooga Library side. Not today, as the whole are has been under significant water. Thanks for keeping this one up and running kylesaltmarsh..... Great to come back to where it all began for me.

Found it after probably taking a short cut on foot that we shouldn't have.
Cache soaked and VERY, VERY SMELLY & SLIMY. Dried container as best we could but could do nothing with log book.
Looks like it got a lift from the rising water then wedged itself higher than it originally was, which was lucky that it didn't float away!

Found on a enjoyable bike ride. After recent rain the cache needs attention as it was full of water. Carefully dried as much as we could but not sure how it will go. TFTC
Quick find this one, signed the log as req and headed off to another.

#516 @ 5.40pm. On our fab caching day out with team Haveanez. When we first came into town the Garmin navigated us to the other side of the river - looked at it but no, too darn cold for swimming today. So off we went to find the entry into this area & we were distracted by a couple of other caches here as well. Eventually we made it back, past an empty tent & onto GZ where we had to search for the cache via torchlight. The Queen came up with the find for what we thought was going to be our last cache for the day.
TNLNSL TFTC - even in the fading light we could appreciate this area. Thanks Kylesaltmarsh for bringing us here

Found on our super day with Skullracer1!
After starting out on the 'wrong side', it didn't take long for us to have fun going through the 4wd tracks to get to the 'right side'!
After searching under torchlight, due to the sun going down real fast, the Queen from Skullracer came up with the hide!
TOOK: Pink Ball
LEFT: Green Dino Whistle!
A really top spot! Thanks for bringing us here!

After some treking through mud we made an easy find. Not sure if there was a better way in but we got there Some crazy kids were swimming near by TNLN SL T4TC
Nice area. Glad we had the 4WD, as we could drive quite close to the location. 2WD would have a longer walk. Light rain, but a pleasant afternnon finding caches in the area. TFTC.
Found at 5.00pm by Geodad. Was getting very thick with fog and freezing so once we crossed the river we were glad to have an easy find!! TNLN SL TFTC
Quick find but a very slow drive in as track was very water logged. Didnt look around that much as rain was starting pick up again and one more to do. Before we headed home.

Like others, I spent some time searching gz to no avail. I then spread my search to another possibility where I immediately found the cache, with the GPS saying 15m. Either bad co-ords or bad cache creep! A good spot to hide a cache though.
Coords seemed a bit out for this cache. We also crossed directly from the police station side making for easy(ish) access. Cheers Gav [5423]
A nice a quick find as i was making my way to Shepparton the long way picking up some cache's on the way.. the grass was a bit long making me wary of snake's as the weather was quite warm around 37 degree's today, so i was glad to note there was no muggle activity so i could make a bit of a noise to drive any snake's away...

This was meant to be the last cache of our morning walk - 7.6 km down and a lovely swim in the creek to finish off the successful geocaching hike. However, after three adults searching for 15 minutes we had to give up on this one. Have found JOTT1, so we knew the container we were looking for, searched a 35 m radius from GZ according to the GPS with no luck.
We pulled up and headed just off the track and the GPSr took us to a likely location and after a quick search there we decided the more likely place was a few meters away and concentrated our search there. Here we came across sharp sticks and very persistent ants that thought they owned the territory. After about 15min of being bitten and stabbed we decoded the clue and seemed to say that we were in the right location so we decided to give up the search and head back to the car with our remaining intact skin.
followed the arrow and parked, then looked across the water to the possible hide location (as we had already done LOTS today. ) Decided that we couldn't leave it there unfound, so investigated on foot the long way. The trees down across the water looked almost walkable. No swaps in the cache (or pen) so left a swap and took nothing. TFTC
Found this with short walk in the bush but 7 year old daughter was not happy as there was no swaps left ,and i was not happy as i forgot my pen so could not write in notebook. But it was a nice walk
Easy find, though campers near by asked if we need assistance before approaching GZ. (Obviously not muggles.)

With muggles camped very close to GZ we had no option but to sneak in and grab the cache while using their tent as cover.
Signed the log and managed to return the cache without arousing suspicion.

Found while geocaching with my brother and his girlfriend. The water was difficult to cross without risking getting a bit wet so I stayed and watched my brother balancing, crawling and jumping from a relatively thin log to get to the other side. I wish I had my camera with me!
Found that this cache is accessible from near the police station without getting your feet wet - at the moment anyway. After a short search the cache was in hand at 4:45pm.

Having driven right around the point (and what a great drive it was ), this was the next (and last in this little area) on my list before heading homewards. A nice easy find at 14:40 in this magnificent part of the world .

Had two likely looking trees to search here and my GPS was putting me closer to the wrong one but after a little while a found the cache. Geojen had looked in the spot at GZ ealier but missed seeing the cache. Never mind though. It was all good fun and a lovely day for a walk.
Thanks again kylesaltmarsh

Found at 1210 hours. First cache for the day. Have been to this one before with a mate, Quasar3671. It was the first cache i ever visited in a very scenic location, so i guess it was the one that started it all..... Took a 2 of my kids, James and Jasmine with me, they seem to love the caching, they call it "Treasure Hunting" and they have a ball. Wanted to revisit it and log it for myself.
Found with Karen 3rd find for our Easter Monday 058 area cache clean up log’em and get home before top gear starts. Plenty of campers here and why not look’s like a great place to set a tent up thanks for showing us this spot thanks for the hide no swaps made
Tackled this one from the Barooga side and no swimers were required. Plenty of spots to walk across as the water is so low, I didn't even sink in the sandy bottom.
Cache was located in the area as described in the log notes

After a bit of hunting around eventually found the cache on the ground out in the open. Maybe the recent heavy rain washed it out from its hiding place. Placed it back as close to the waypoint coordinates as possible. This was our first find and had fun tracking it down with my 3.5 year old son and a mate and five of his kids. All had a great time.
Yeah we admit it, we didn't read the cache page that well and parked on the wrong side of the water. Not that we were not tempted to make the crossing by foot or tree stump though!
Another nice little area here and finding the cache took a little longer than expected as there were a few spot it could have been and I am sure it was not there when I first looked Rob. Honest!
The cache was found but Rob did have trouble getting the lide off but I tole him it worked the same way as a lid and he was under control then. Just after we replaced the cache we ran into some NSW Parks guys that were scouting out the area. Apparently there had been some sitings of an animal in the area that they were not sure was a large feral cat. They said that some of the locals suggested that it may have been a black panther as there have been many claimed sightings of these animals throughout NSW but more in the Blue Mountains area.
Anyway, we certainly kept our eyes out as we headed off to do the other caches.

Ah yes, I missed that little bit of info that said this was opposite the library! We parked here, tried to walk to the cache, realised we'd have to swim, and returned to the car. On our second attempt we parked 12m from the cache! Nice driving GeoJunior! We hunted around for quite a while here trying to get a good fix from the birds in the sky, but in the end just went for the most obvious locations and found it shortly after.
I would have liked to have explored the track further on from here but time constraints meant we had to go back the other way. Perhaps next time.
Thanks for showing me this great little spot, I dropped in a geocoin for the next visitor.

This was my 1st find out of the three "Just of the track" series. Great location! At GZ I was greeted by evidence of a snake habitating the immediate area.

Top hide!! No muggles today.
There is no pen or pencil inside, so had to come back the next day to sign the book. Turns out there's no pen or pencil in any of the Just of the tracks.
Since I had to come back I bought the kids from Bignell1 with me to do make their finds too. Eagle eye Haydo and Great catch Taylah.

Found at 0720. FTF! My wife and I were staying in Strathmerton this weekend to attend a wedding, so when I noticed a few new caches in the area, I got up early to beat the heat, and took a quick drive out to check this one out. Wasn't sure what the tracks were going to be like for a 2WD, but there was no problem whatsoever. Was able to park within 20m of the cache and spotted it immediately. The noise of the cicadas here was incrediable. Certainly an indication of the dry spell we're having at the moment.
