I do intend to replace this, but will take some time to pick a better spot.

Mm had a good hunt around in likely penguin nesting sites but no sign of the cache..

Looked and looked - no joy. Been a while since someone found it. I wonder if it's still there.

Thanks to a heads-up from CaligulaNZ, I checked on the cache today to find it missing, presumed muggled.

The cache is now re-established and ready to go. It could use a stash note if you have one on you when you visit - I was out.

Found it. Had to wait for the crowds to leave before we retrieved it

Met up with tingaling124 for cache maintenance and a trackables trade.

Cache is now refreshed and back where it should be. Could use some silica if anyone has any - my convenient source has dried up.

Cache not in container as described. Suggest owner has look at it before it gets wet or muggled.

Used the available coverage to sneak up on the target. Took aim (quack quack - shush you'll spoil my aim!) and another target bagged easily. Hunting limit not yet reached (15 bagged so far), but I might be in a bit of trouble from the home office as hunting season for today, was up awhile ago.... No issues with muggles and no wildlife (apart from a few slaters brushed away) were harmed during the catching of this hide. TFTC

Replaced the logbook as the old one was wet, re-bagged and old book still in it.

Find #281 - Our #17th today - this equals our single 24 hour record! Found the cache after determining the right spot, however, cache extremely wet, we poured water out of it. Could barely get the pen to write on the paper. SL TFTC.

A beautiful pond, only a couple of parrys and some wood pigeons in residence today, TFTC

What a way to spend the day. The Duck pond was lovely to look over, only wish we had bought some bread as the ducks looked hungry.

I can safely say that in spite of growing up mostly in the upper valley, I have never been to Birchville! Thanks for showing me a picturesque spot. A quick and easy find for this one - where were all the muggle children? Playground was completely deserted this morning.
