This one has gone missing coincidentally just after a person renowned for vandalising caches logged it. It is probably not worth replacing as it is likely to get stolen again.

Like Kyeexploring, all I found was bits of a log sheet.

Unfortunately a no find for us today but we can see bits of the logbook. I'm wondering if this cache has been muggled. Might be worth the owner having a look. Thanks!

Heading to Wagga for an event so having a day out caching. It was a quick find but then it was a matter of getting my hands on the log to sign. Thankfully it didn't take too long.
Thanks Fred6603 for placing this challenging cache for us to find.

I was over in Wagga today with my family. Then we separated and started doing the things we wanted to do. With that I couldn’t say no to a spot of Caching. Smile Thanks to all Cache owners for the fun and for the caches I found.

I know I am backtracking a little but how can I pass up another Fred6603 cache. I arived at GZ and soon had the container which had the challenge in hand. I keep finding 'Red Herrings' on it but soon I had it open. This is the first Fred6603 cache I have found without assistance. I am happy with that. Smile Another great field puzzle cache that deserves a FP. TFTC Fred6603! FP given.
P.S. As the paper that was in there was too fragile for my pens I had, I placed a new piece of paper in there that has my mark.

Another very nice piece of work thanks Fred6603

This cache wasn't on our list but impressed with another, we had to have a go. The cache was quite exposed so finding wasn't going to be the issue. A lot of fiddling led nowhere but then something caught my eye. The log has perished somewhat but we signed and returned it a bit better protected. Thanks again Fred6603.

Found during a Wagga Wagga road trip with AG27, FIJ, TikvaNZ.

AG27 and TikvaNZ had found this previously, so it was Fox in Jox and I who tackled it today. It was comforting to know that AG27 and TikvaNZ were there on standby in case we struggled. It's possible that they might have made some subtle suggestions while we were opening the container, but I think the Fox was all over it anyway. My role was to stand there looking pretty, and hold all the bits and pieces that the Fox was peeling away from the machine. We had CIH after a few minutes, which I thought was pretty good. This was my seventh find of the day, after four DNFs (and there was one more to come!).

Thx again Fred6603!

A great day-trip to Wagga with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX to collect a number of high D/T puzzles, trads and multis. Returned with a good number of smileys, but also had a few DNFs along the way. We'll be back to address those!!

TikvaNZ and AngelG27 had found this, so ZQX and I gathered around the Tube. The first part took a bit of discovery (very subtle), then the rest unravelled nicely. These constructions certainly appeal to the engineer in me (which I once was). TFTC Fred6603

Out and about with The Drovers to grab some caches in the Junee and Wagga area today and this was one of them.

This one took me a while but eventually the penny dropped and the log was in hand.

Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

A favourite point from me for the creative hide.

After the Christmas festivities were over I decided to go find a few caches. This was first and a good one to start with. Parked on the road near GZ as I was only going to be quick...ish

Found the cache quick enough and took me a few minutes to work out what to do. It is really obvious once you work it out! A good cache, and good piece of mechanical work that turned a regular hide into a field puzzle. Will add another favourite Very Happy

Thanks!

Here from outta town for a gig last night at Wagga's Civic Theatre and out this mornin grabbing a few random GCs before we head. Nice tricky little puzzle here in a nice location. Puzzle appears to be custom made. Very good work! Log needs replacing though and container could do with some work too but very good GC! Cheers!

A mini posse comprising Fox in Jox, Noikmeister, TikvaNZ, ZQX and I headed south on a wet Saturday to grab the 9 tree climb caches at Walla Walla and few more around Wagga Wagga on our way north again. We had a selection of preferred DT and puzzle caches in mind. We did not find all of them, but we had great time anyway. I ended up with 3 DT caches I wanted for the day. After ZQX and Fox left early to head home, the remainder of us cached on for a bit until we ran out of daylight.

After the disappointment of not grabbing the IV sister of this cache, we decided to have a go at this one. NM and TikvaNZ got to GZ first and found the container, but I was very happy it was me that found the way to sign the log at 1640. Cache number 14 for the day, and a nice consolation prize thanks Fred6603.

11-Jun-16
Found at 4:43:00 PM with TikavaNZ and AngelG27

After failing to get the lid off number IV (methinks it be seized) we came down for one more tube. It was AngelG27 who spotted the sign and we all played a part in disassembling the tube. Amazing workmanship

Thanks Fred6603

Today's caching mission with Fox in Jox, AngelG27, Noikmeister and ZQX had been in the planning for a while, with the aim to collect a bevy of high difficulty/terrain caches to fill some holes in our respective D/T grids. We left Canberra just after 0630, arriving in Walla Walla just after 1000. We had some rain on the way but all was clear by the time we started caching. After completing the Tree Climb series we started the journey home via some caches to find in Wagga Wagga.

After a DNF on Rubik's Tube IV, we stopped off at this one. AngelG27 managed to find the in before I could have a turn. TFTC

10608. Found during a caching run down to the Wagga region this ANZAC Day long weekend.

Day 3 of my trip dawned and this was the first attempted cache for the day. After a few failures on some RT caches I approached this one with some concern, but once I had the cacahe in hand I was happy to access the log in a couple of minutes - very happy indeed ! Log was signed, cache returned and I headed off to the next one.

Thanks again Fred6603 ! FP !

Found on a nice Sunday afternoon with hayleyisanaeroplane. Unfortunately the log is damo because the container is broken, which made signing the log difficult.
We really like the design of the hide, looks like someone got bored at work one day?

Cache was soaked so signing it was quite hard! Cache container is broken so it's no longer waterproof.

With a spring in our step we left the motel earl so we can get a on some series caching…
I had heard about Fred’s caches from the very first time I started geocaching.. he was a MUST DO on many peoples list.. but it has taken me over 5 years to get here ..
I was basting at the seams, I was here, ready to take over Fred’s word..
Which all came to a sudden STOP as soon as we had the cache in hand … Hmmmm
How are we going to open THIS…. It will not get the better of us as I have waited a long time to sign one of Fred’s caches …
Sitting back in car with the cache in hand trying EVERYTHING from pushing, pulling, twisting and almost throwing I had that “I GOT IT”… Hi 5 with Arielisme and I had a complete feeling.. it was awesome thank you fred for the time and torement..

Boy were we happy when we finally figured this one out!
It took 2 brains, 4 hands, we'd come to Wagga especially to see your caches and this was the first one we found, I just looked, laughed and asked the question....How the hell are we going to get into that!
Took a bit of twisting, turning, head scratching and then whalla!!! The cache opened!
After a high 5, much whoohooing, laughing and us saying we didn't need the boys with us to do this, how good are we, we finally calmed down enough to sign the log.
We talked about this one for quite a while after, actually we are still talking about it.

Thankyou for the fun, the frustration and the elation we had with this one.
What a great start to a rainy day of caching.

Well it has taken me some time to final get around to finally logging these, I had the Puzzles solved when they first came out but then they got pulled for the Mega, previous trips we were flat out doing Munzees, this trip we set aside several hours to spend on what have to be some of the best caches around. The long weekend has arrived for us Canberrans, so what better way to spend it than to team up once again with Rapidlywild and set off for Wagga and surrounds for what was to be another epic geomission? Big Grin

RW did the driving-so we just had to make sure she was topped up with water and “Mother” from the esky to keep her going safely, whilst I provided the entertainment lol Big Grin[:O)] We had a great day’s caching on Saturday, and Sunday’s effort ended in an epic 22hr day at 7am Monday when we arrived back home with a swag of finds and big caching hangover lol. Craziness! Big Grin[:O)]

Well no joy for me with this one. RW had found this one previously so I was on my own for the extraction here. After a few minutes of twisting and fiddling, I could see the way in but just couldn't remove the part in question as it has seized due to a bit of rust. RW has contacted the CO to inform him. Looking forward to completing this one on a return visit-love these!

Thanks anyway, Fred6603 Smile

i have looked at these Rubiks caches on-line several times and looked forward to seeing what they were about. In Wagga today and chose this one as we didn't have to solve a puzzle to get to GZ. The container was quickly located and i was not let down at all as i opened it and saw what was inside. After a few minutes of shaking and twisting we realised what had to be done and soon after had the log out. A favorite from us and we left feeling happy to have a smiley on a Rubiks cache.

Well it was Mission: Wagga Wagga time again. The original plans were for Boot65, specimenX and myself to go and attack Wagga Wagga and crack some of those puzzles that we have been working hard on solving. Unfortunately some circumstances changed which resulted in specimenX being unable to attend this weekend. So an inpromptu phone call was made at the 11th hour through to FurfacesLL to fill that 3rd spot in the motel room. After some quick sweet talking, we had FurfacesLL lined up and ready to join. Oh the fun is about to begin......

It was an action packed weekend for sure. We had a large number of laughs and wore ourselves out to the brink of passing out. Our adventures ranged from nice simple traditional 1/2 star finds right through to a full blown 5/5!! There was manic tree climbing (by monkeyman Boot65), Cliff climbing, canoeing, trying to crack open some very well constructed caches (often resulting in 3 "tools" getting frustrated and then all laughing at each other as it all comes apart so simply) and some long night adventures till early hours of the morning.

With WP1 of the 5/5 marked off on Friday and WP2 collected on Saturday, we headed out after about 4 hours sleep for another attack on Wagga Wagga. We headed off to the Cache Café for a smoothie to kick us off for the day. We met up with Roostaman for a meet and greet before beginning our tackles. Today we collected the remaining WPs for the 5/5 and made it to GZ. Wow what an adventure!!!

Another amazing Fred6603 contraption. Very much enjoying the challenges of these caches! Once open, logging duties completed and it was time to move on to the next one.

Thanks for the cache Fred6603 Smile

2655. Another marvellous creation. How lucky are we cachers that get to find these things in the wild. Found with Rapidlywild and FurfacesLL on are Wagga visit. These all exceeded our expectations, although the CO may have been cursed at on more than one occasion.
Thanks Fred6603 for the cache and the head scratching.

On an impromtu caching trip to Wagga with Boot65 and Rapidlywild, this cache was on the must do list after attempting some of the other ones. Yet again we were not disappointed with the cache we found.

This one was surprisingly a lot quicker then all the others, maybe we had a little insight as to how the CO thought now, but probably not.

Thanks again for another amazing cache Fred6603.

After driving to southern Sydney Friday on a work trip I'm heading home via a couple of days in Wagga.
Today was a day to knock over the new power trail along with a few other caches in and around Wagga.

After a discussion with the CO I returned to this cache where I found the correct method of opening the nasty little contraption.

Thank you for the cache Fred6603.

We had a fantastic afternoon cycling around the lake, and stopping for a few of Fred's magical caches. If we had just found one, it would have been well worth the effort of cycling to it, but to find 3 made it an exceptional afternoon.

We approached GZ with trepidation as there was an earth-mover throwing around earth like it was going out of fashion. Fortunately it was a bit further on than GZ so the cache was still safe.
This one was a bit trickier than no. 4, we had to try for a fair while before geoson tried something that got us somewhere! I knew it was a good idea to bring the kids along, and they found these metal mechanical puzzles interesting.

TFTC Fred, a favourite from us!

Absolutely awesome! What more can I say? The craftsmanship is superb and it is made so well that it took me ten minutes just to examine it for any sign of a clue! With enough time and patience you may get the idea. It also helped that conditions were perfect for me this morning with bright blue skies and not too cold. The coords were spot on and the cache is nice and dry. TFTfineC!

Our forced internment in Wagga Wagga continues as we await the return of the gCAV. We continued our caching distractions, although on a much reduced level, with only two attempts at caches. We had heard of [blue]Fred6603's[/blue] legendary hides and having, briefly, met him at the NZ Mega were keen to see one in the flesh (metal). With more curiosity than hope of solving we approached GZ and made the initial find. #410 it has been a little time since I have been at the computer to do some logging now it is well and truly time to catch up on the geocache logging and leave the waymarks alone for a little while although it has been fun adding a number of waymarks. Just to keep you all up to date I am on day 113 of continuous caching and have 39 days of caching to log before I am up to date.

Another great challenge done and dusted the great Fred6603 Rubik's cache series now this is the second one completed just have to solve those dam puzzles to get going on the rest the easy ones are done and this was one of those great Fred6603 favorites we all love. It was an easy find and a hand challenge to get to that log.

Thanks Fred6603 for another in you great Rubik's Tube series.

05-Feb-12
Last Wagga day trip I found almost 50 caches… But, truth be told, many of them were very average!

So this Wagga day trip, I decided to choose quality over quantity! Only found 7 caches, of which 6 were “Rubik’s Tube” caches! (The focus of this trip! - Well, other than visiting my wife's sick Aunty). I had heard so much about these, and I had seen some of Fred6603’s work before, so I was determined to tackle these!
This one looked simple enough at first glance! But no – it wasn’t! On the other hand, I think I am learning fast on this series! I figured it out in about 5 minutes! Another engineering masterpiece! Thanks again Fred6603!
