Another cache I could have easily given up on but persevered. The puzzle was simple, but today has been my most productive caching day ever as I've already found eight different cache types, but now I'm aiming for 30 caches in a day. The last thing I need are DNFs when I'm aiming for such a number, so I looked on one side, looked on another, looked on the other, and looked on the other again until I came up with the find. My 23rd find and second mystery of the day.
23 for 28 on the day....

Had this one solved a while ago, but was never in the area to pick it up.
Finally got to find it with 3LG and earthlight.

Under the cover of darkness it still took some time to reveal the damn container, cars were zooming past so they didn’t bother me

Had opened this a couple of times and thought I had the solution. didn't trust myself. At a recent event this one came up and my solution was confirmed. Into the TBF queue till the right moment.
Today I thought it was time to make the find. drove to the area but had to park a long way away which enabled me to reccy another nearby cache on the way. Was a successful and plans now in place for the find.
Anyway, wandered to GZ and started the search. Was having problems as the GPS wanted me in various locations, none of which had hiding spots. So resorted to a PAF. While doing this I happened to put my hands in a spot and fingers touched something familiar. The hide was completely different to the description given in the PAF but the explanation was that the area had been modified and the hide had changed. so a logbook was extracted, signed, and cache replaced in its hide.

After getting a much needed clue from the CO (ok - the exact whereabouts), made the find. The thing was I was already aware that there was something on the cache description page that was a major clue to the hiding spot, but it was certainly a new type of hide I hadn’t really seen before. Very sneaky indeed, thanks Frog
Freddo you beat me at this one. I reckon it was my third time that I’ve visited looking for this one tonight. The first time I wasn’t 100% confident on the location even though I suspected, and thought it was an evil nano within the fence, to come back in the night, but then later researched that Freddo hated nanos. The second time I thought I had a real good look, but still unable to locate. Tonight with being the wiser of typical Freddo containers, I thought I would finally grab it, especially it being with less vehicles on the road to be a suspect. Coordinates kept bouncing around, and had a thorough look around without success. Barrgh!
Our visit in Adelaide took us today to Glenelg Beach. On the way home i left the Tram one station earlyer as usual an got this one.
I found out some parts of the solution but was not shure about it. Thanks goes to the owner who helped me out with the little subtleties of the English language to get it solved. At GZ it was a fast grip!
Thank you for this sharky one!

Worked out the puzzle reasonably quickly (thanks to it being easy, as puzzles always haunt me). Jumped on a free tram at lunch with Kronklee to visit a few caches south of the city. Went to GZ, and Kronklee had his hands on it in < 30 seconds - nice! Log signed and then grabbed the tram back to work.

3 of 3 finds for me today, thanks to weredunn4 for solving this one, I think he was more chuffed about solving it rather than finding it. The free tram helped us tackle a few in the parklands on our lunch break, nice day for it too! Congrats on the 1000 Mike! TFTC 8}+=
Solving this puzzle proved not that difficult, but the lack of a checker to confirm a solution sometimes leaves you wondering. When we visited GZ about a week ago, we looked and looked but found only what we thought may have been the remainder of a hide. Then again, we still weren't sure we were in the right place so we did not log a DNF. Returning home and reading recent logs we found that someone else had the same experience, and a couple of days later CO confirmed that the cache was indeed gone. Then a few days later it promptly got replaced and this evening we ventured out to have another look, and although we missed a helpful hint from CO this morning and had a rather lengthy search as a result, we eventually managed to scribble our name onto the empty replacement log
To make this find even more memorable, it solves the rare Number of Finds = Current Year equation, which we think will only happen for us once TNLNSL TFTC

Cache replaced in a different form. You will need to bring a pen. Of course this cache is not a nano. The hint is still correct.
The cache camo has been modified, which means that the cache will need to be modified and replaced.
Spent 20 minutes looking at GZ didn't turn up a cache will have to come back as this one is too good for me tfth
Why cant all the frogs puzzles be this easy to solve ?? Also a quick find on the way home from work.

TFTC. Even on a public holiday, it was hard not to get Muggled at the destination. But pleased to solve another puzzle and one not too far from home
Solved this one about 2 weeks ago but when I went off to go and search I was seriously Muggled out of it [:o] and not knowing exactly where it was made looking way too risky so I shelved it then forgot about it [:o)]. Racing off to grab a new(ish) Trad, tonight (10 March 2017) I remembered it ha ha Grabbed the trad then knocked this one off after it. When I got to GZ i spied a potential hidey spot and it turned out I was on the $$ [^] Used my bike for 'Cover' as I stealthily sneaked the hide into my hand SL at 18:38 on TGIF, 10 March, 2017. I do not know what I can say. Seriously. Nope, I cannot begin to hold my head up high in the caching world. How did I not see that. The clues were everywhere. I even bought along my fellow cacher to help me. Maybe it was her influence. But today I found it in the first place I looked. Last time I spent at least 20 minutes not finding it. I had fun. Thanks Freddo.
Solved this puzzle a very very long time ago. Finally got to come and find it. Didn't exactly get to do much looking, as H423L found it immediately... but still glad to cross this one off. TFTC Freddo!!!
According to the photos I was definitely in the right place. But absolutely no luck today.
Today I had a free day so I decided to head in and around the Adelaide CBD to pick up a few solved mysteries and nearby traditionals.
I solved this one over 12 months ago so it was great to finally knock this one off.
Very little activity around GZ today - perhaps the cold weather was keeping the muggles away.
Thanks for the cache and the puzzle.

We took advantage of the public holiday today to find this cache. We still had a small amount of traffic to deal with, but thankfully it was a very quick find, and we only needed to look one way.
Thanks Freddo.
Thanks Freddo.
Had the final co-ords burning a hole in the GPS for awhile now. But today I was in the vicinity so had to stop and find it. Being a Freddo cache it was a quick find due to the accurate co-ords and hint.[:d]. Thanks Freddo.
A quick and easy suburban cache....how nice! .....no flies, dirt, ants, snakes or sharks were out tonight!!
I found this cache tonight (Easter Monday) after a fabulous Easter long weekend caching trip with CPwanderer travelling between Adelaide and the Eyre Peninsula.
Our weekend was filled with fun, laughter and lots of crazy caching adventures [:o)] [^] I loved nearly all of the interesting little tracks we travelled and the bush we 'bashed' in my 'fake' 4wd....poor CP was getting worried at times , but I was quietly confident we wouldn't get bogged! (oh and I may have had my fingers crossed at times as there was little/no phone coverage in many of the areas we visited).
The flies, ants and spiders are friendly on the Eyre Peninsula [xx(] ; CP had a close call with a death adder snake and it was hard to find anywhere but road houses to eat at due to towns effectively being closed , but CP was a perfect travel and caching companion and good passenger [^] whilst I tackled the 1500+kms of driving........sooo awesome!! I want to do it all again!! Bring on the next caching adventure!! [^]

1/10/15 visiting from Brisbane. With a couple of hours before nightfall I was hopeful I could grab a few more caches, especially those that I had solved and now just needed to get to GZ. I solved this one back in Brisbane and was hopeful I could make it to GZ. After the distance I had travelled this afternoon for some other caches I was concerned the daylight might not be sufficient but I walked as quickly as possible and arrived at GZ with some daylight to spare - but not much - so a read of some previous logs and the hint gave me a good idea where to look. I looked both ways the made my way there. I peered down and saw the cache - just as a tram pulled up next to me and stopped. I waited, smiled politely at the driver and once it pulled away I went in for my claim. A speedy signature on the logbook and the cache was back in its rightful spot. Happy to have this smilie. Cool American Standard Code for Information Interchange art. Perfectly pronounceable. The puzzle puzzled me because it wasn't as puzzling as I expected. The cache is at the limit of my lunchtime walking range so I grabbed it today. At GZ I laughed out loud when I went to tie my shoelaces and realised my boots didn't have any! Hopefully nobody noticed. Thanks for the cache Freddo, and especially for hiding it in the first place I looked.
EDIT: After logging, it struck me how low our current number of finds (168) is compared to other finders. Don't people try puzzles until they have lots of finds? Anyway, it's Friday PM so I did some analysis. Of the 131 log entries (excluding publish):
- our 168 finds is the 4th lowest
- there are 3 with < 100 finds
- there are 18 with 100-999 finds
- there are 93 with 1000-9999 finds
- there are 17 with 10000+ finds

So just how do you pronounce the title of this cache?
CO tells me "Look Both Ways!"
I'm not sure how you get that out of a bunch of punctuation....
But I wish I'd known that before I went looking for this cache. Maybe it would have made things a bit easier.

Up early to head back to Kaniva for work today and as this cache was quite close to our motel we felt that this would be an ideal time to go hunting.
On arrival at GZ we had a boy look (sorry to the guys, please don't hit me) and then stood back and had a girl look for possible hiding places and there was one that stood out and sure enough the very clever frog also thought that this would be a top spot to place a cache. I will admit that hubby spotted the cache before I did. LOL.

This was one of the first puzzles I solved about a year ago, but only now that I go and claim. At the time it surprised me that I had solved it when I confirmed with a previous finder.
Had been here a couple of months ago with JJ52 but elected not to sign at that point and keep it up my sleeve for my streak.
Tonight was the night, I desperately needed a cache and didn't feel like travelling so was glad to still have this one in the bank!

Had solved this one months ago, but there just hadn't been the right time to go and find the cache, given the location.
Tonight I was out with Ismartis and after a couple of other caches and dinner we decided to stop off and try and find this one before heading home. [^] [^]
Arrived at GZ and made an educated guess as to where the cache would be, which proved to be correct. Had to wait for quite a while for lots and lots of muggles to move off and timed our grab. Moved away to sign the log, then had the same problem replacing the cache which we think we timed well.
Thanks for the puzzle, the cache and the adventure Freddo.

mogni was in town yet again for some work. That meant only one thing....caching time. I was half way through Frequent Flier Mach Two, so it was a case of set a course in the general direction of the remaining way-points and collect a few other caches along the way.
Mogni was working at Wayville and getting in an out of town via the shark system and so we both solved this one in preparation. Solving proved to be the easy part. Plenty of muggle activity around GZ even early on a Saturday morning. Managed to retrieve, sign and replace before a great shark cruised protectively by. Thanks Freddo.

Well that was a lot of fun
I caught the tram at lunch to South Terrace (from The Town Hall) and did a loop up to Greenhill Road and back grabbing this cache (and another).
A lovely day for a walk, although I concur with previous comments, with previous comments, with a lack of spots it still took a few minutes to locate. I also concurred with previous comments, that muggles don't really take much notice even though they are parked close-by, as it would be too much effort for them to check on what I had done with the cache
As for the song, I've always liked the Morphine Song:

It won't save you, it won't save you
Swim for the shores just as fast as your able
Swim, swim, swim http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0dTSY3J8lw
I replaced the cache, and then continued onwards - and best of all I had a couple minutes spare before the tram arrived to take me back - a brilliant lunch time adventure
Plus, on the tram, the school girl on the seat next to me had a bag with a Great White Shark on it - I was just meant to find this cache at lunch

Given the lack of possible locations, this one took a surprisingly long time for us as we headed back to the now-legally-parked car after finding another nearby cache. Our GPSrs all had GZ in different spots, and we were reasonably sure it wasn't out in the middle bit... Gunnie69 was again the man of the hour, though I was the one with all the bravado, searching with all those commuter eyes whizzing by . Just don't look furtive and you'll be right is my motto! Well, it's a bit long for a motto, really. TFTC, 8}+=. =^.^=
After an adventure at another Freddo cache, Ghostgums, La Kedi, The Marble and I took a walk over to the final location of this one and got stuck into the hunt, mid Peak Hour Traffic... Pfft, they won;t pay us any attention La Kedi said and even if they do, what is the likelihood of them coming back and checking out the exact location... Yeah, yeah, I know... Buuuut... I'm still cautious...
At GZ, the hunt commenced and it took a few minutes before the cache revealed itself. Even then, it was through standing back and looking where we hadn't looked... Aha, what about there I thought and voila, one container in hand... [^]
Names added, cache back in place, time for another longish walk to a cache that turned out to b MIA... Oh yeah, we good at this game...

This is one that was solved for a previous trip in 2010, but we were thwarted by some serious road works at the time. Today no such problem. The search took a few minutes before Gunnie69 found the sneaky hide! All signed and returned without any muggle attention!

We thought we would take up the Geocaching.com challenge of finding a cache every day during August. We have made it a little more challenging though by attempting it with puzzle caches.
This was one puzzle we solved long ago and have never got around to collecting. I (Pa Kettle) decided to collect it tonight after work. It was the worst possible time to do so. It is probably one of the busiest spots during peak hour with plenty of traffic, pedestrians, joggers, cyclists etc to make the hunt difficult. The GPS had me on the wrong side at first but I soon guessed where it would be. It still took quite a while to retrieve, walk away and log and then return in between waves of commuters.
Thanks for the challenge Freddo.

This one had beaten me once ... or was that twice? ... before. It was now time to go back and face those sharks again!
Got to GZ ... a shark passed....
The only thing circling at this point was me! ... now where is this cache?
I'd had a hint from Dr Owl ... "there is only a few places that it could be" ... did this hint help ... well, not initially... thinking ... now, what do we know about Freddo? ... seem to recall he hates nanos ... so probably not a nano... circled a bit more ... tried not to look suspicious ... waited for some pedestrian muggles to pass ... waited for a cycling muggle to pass ... waited for some car muggles to pass ... stood back ... I looked both ways ... pondered ... then .... light bulb moment ...
Seek3r-ed and found!

As preparation for our trip to South Australia we attempted a number of puzzles - this was one of them. It took a little while to make progress on this cache but once we had a strategy, a plausible set of coordinates were obtained. Today we decided to focus on the parklands to the south and south-east of the city and had the opportunity to look for the cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find - a really good hide. The cache and its contents were in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle Freddo and thanks for the cache.
Solved this a long time ago but was not very sure about it. However, the GZ seemed to make sense and I finally had a chance to drop by this evening. After some nervous searching, was relieved to spy the little blighter without too much hassle. Thanks Freddo for another great cache!
It took two goes to find this cache, but Owl got there in the end. She blames nervousness from the presence of a never-ending stream of muggles. She needs to invest in a decoy stroller, bike, dog, child or bomb-seeking robot to make these searches easier.
After the May the Fourth be with you flashmob event, I was supposed to head down to Morphett Vale to meet family however muggle partner changed the plans... so that gave me time to wander the city and do the locus cache on some caches: I finally left the city for home at 7.30pm after a midday event
I spent about half an hour here looking then actually gave up and returned to my car, which was parked some distance away
Then a call from another cacher led to a discussion and my returning to GZ. This time successfully!
The resultant sms from said friend to me upon my thanking them for their assistance read 'Should have had a boys look'
I thought I had when I didn't find it first time
Those long, sleek sharks kept slipping by and made me nervous... that's my excuse

The log type should be "Found it at last".
I can't believe how hard I made this for myself. The GPS had me looking in the wrong place, close but not close enough. In these situations I need to put the GPS in my pocket and think about it a bit more.
Anyway thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

#3951. GZ was quiet today - well, the immediate vicinity anyway. Quick find. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Another didn't find.
Even though we were sure we had it right we were defeated by the number of muggles.
And this was on a sunday afternoon. What's it like through the week.

After 10.5hrs of driving from Warrnambool to Adelaide yesterday, I had 2 whole days to go caching in Adelaide so I had to choose where I hit very wisely. I decided that one day I would hit some target caches within the general confines on Adelaide, and the next day I would attempt to knock off a decent portion of the Wandering Heroes series. Today was the day to hit the Adelaide CBD and various other areas with specific caches that I wanted to find. A great day all up finding some of the best caches Adelaide has to offer. This was the 31st find of 34 finds for today.
When I found out I was coming to Adelaide, I fugred that I should solve just a couple of puzzles in the place where there are puzzles on every second corner! This one seemed easy enough and it sure was - I solved it pretty much first-go .
Wanted to get a few puzzle finds for the trip so this one became a target today. Quickly picked it up on the way back into the CBD to end the day. Had to wait out a few muggles but eventually the coast was clear and I made a sneaky retrieval.
Thanks 8}+= aka Freddo

A relatively quiet Sunday morning seemed a good time to grab the cache. Still seemed like a thousand eyes were on me at gz. Had to use my best acting skills (non-existent) and stealth techniques (embryonic at best). Seemed like no sharks took the bait as I made the find, signed log and replaced with no bites. TFTC and puzzle Freddo.
I knew it couldn't be a nano .
Easier to spot the shark during the daylight.
Thanks for the cache, +=

Found It!
It took a few hints from the frog to get this one out but its actually quite simple...
And no nanos to be seen at GZ - just the regular freddo micro cache...

Found while night caching in the Parklands. I thought the traffic would have died down a little by now, so the find was easy but the retrieve required considerably more stealthy efforts! TFTC Freddo!
What a busy place. Almost as busy as another not far away. Thanks Freddo.
I tried to find this one in 2010, but failed. This time I had assistance from Moneydork for the find. Glad to have this one in the found column!
