This cache will probably still be in place but construction operatots put a temp fence there which has not been moved after some months of on again off again work being conducted in the area which had done nothing but wreck the streets in the area without any improvment. In order to keep the Geocaching NASI's happy I have taken off the listing. Someday when the so called contruction finishes I'll relist it.
The cache appears to beo OK but some construction work and barrier fencing has made it difficult get into the GZ. When the fencing is removed I'll enable it.
1256 23/5/09 council is doing some work there, fenced off all the footpath but i was sneaky and got inside, A lot of water has been through that area but found the cache high and dry

GPS was a bit out on this one so we were glad we bumped into Just A Trifle and had a bit of help. Great to see you guys again! TFTH
Our GPS didn't help much today - it kept putting us where the cache wasn't so we just had to wing it. Once we found it, we were surprised it had survived as there is not much about to disguise it. Just as we were leaving, The Green Geckos arrived so we stopped for a chat - it was great seeing them again. TFTC Treking Trev
Found it after checking the clue. The wetland's natural filter looked like it was doing it's job but I had to wait a while, while some tradies apparently compared notes on an upcoming job along the pathway.
Cache is in good condition. SL. Thanks.

Hardly a nano, more a large micro, almost a small. Easy find once the GPS settled down. I was worried about recent rains when reading the cache name. Fortunately these worries were unfounded.
Found at 1210 hrs, number 8 for today.

Certainly was a "wasted area" but if you are into swamps, then you may find it interesting. A bit of a tricky find although I feel it could do with a bit more camo now. Still TNLNSL, thanks Treking Trev for the cache.
#49 - found at 1215
Nice little stroll down the path and then oooh! a "creek" - well I think it was once, maybe the reason for the "viewing platform".
Easy find. Gr8 location.

Cheers and thanks Trev.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga at 12:55pm. What an interesting cache container; a muggle was sitting at the base of a tree 40metres away in the park having his lunch and as he was facing the other way he would have no idea what we were doing. TFTC
It took two visits to find this one. When I first called by the area had been taken over by the mowing contractors. Second visit I had the place to myself and the cache was quickly to hand.
Intesting viewing platform...one wonders why?
Found the cache dry and in good condition
Thanks

After brekkie on a nice Sunday it was geocaching time. The Geo Knights were out to find some caches. This one was different, we liked the hide.
TFTC, TNLNSL.

Great hide but I suspect it is easier than when first hidden.
You have to wonder what the attraction was intended to be when the nearby platform was built[?]

Found it after a short look around, so many spots it could have been in. Was worried about dropping it but all was OK. TFTC
The second *FTF* for the afternoon. Bedmaker's right. There are a number of possibilities. I saw the fishing line before the cache, just in time to collect geosons from school. TFTC.
With two new caches in petrie I knew I had to be quick to beat ninasclan, but the ftf fell even before I started to leave work!! Well done ninasclan!! Maybe next time?? Took me a long time to find cache, the hint would have helped!! Also took a few attempts to get log back in cache. Nice cache! Tftc
