DNF - have searched numerous times and still nothing. Time for the owner to check it out ?
Looked for this one for quite some time but no luck. It hasn't been found for over 12 months Is it still there?
Searched for about an hour this time. Nothing to be found apart from nasty ants. Wont be back for a third time.
Even using clues from recent logs. Seems a few others didn't find it first go either, so hopefully we'll find it next time too?!
Log book totally waterlogged. Needs new log and something waterproof to keep it dry.
Found in the company of Stumbleduponit on the way to the Kidfit Triathlon in George Town. First of 3 for the day. Stumbles found this one quickly but the log is totally waterlogged and could not be used.
Comme nous devons prendre l'autobus de 13:00 heures pour revenir à Launceston après notre séjour de 2 jours à George Town / Low Head, j'en profite pour en trouver une petite dernière.
Un favori !

Hi flange and tribe
Found this cache will driving to Campbell town to set a few cachers for the upcoming event - 2012 Tasmanian Cache of the Year. Anyway continued on to Launceston to cache up to Low Head and back via Beaconsfield and to the event.
I had been to this cache before we no luck. I had actually picked up the cache container and put it back. Doh.
Anyway this time I found the cache within being at the GZ 25 seconds. The first thing I picked up.
A great cache and finally off my DNF list.

Hi again
An early morning start to a Budge and OldSaint field trip around the North of the State and a meet up with MakkyBrown; the day culminating with attendance at the event in Launceston later in the evening. Thanks to Budge for a great days caching.
I had looked for this cache before but on that occasion, it defeated me. Budge made the grab on this one today just as I was having a look at it. I'm sure I'd picked it up before, but was not clever enough on that occasion to see what I should have. A very clever hide. The view of the river here is great.
The log was signed at 1330hrs.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

Picked up the camo, not realising what it was, put it back and spent a few minutes looking around, but GPSr keep pointing to that area, then another look provided the find. Log book was on ground and lid is missing, replaced log back into container and replaced camo.
found with justafan1107 on our northen raid towards georgetown T.F.T.C lid was missing and log was on the ground not to far away from gz replaced log back in its container. i like this one.
GeoNat really enjoyed this hide. Had cache in hand earlier while searching without realising. Clever hide. Hard to sign log due to wetness. TFTC
Mr and Mrs Seek3rs are over in Tasmania on holidaying from SA ...
Another day of caching in and around George Town ...
Walked to here from our last cache find at York Cove #1.
Easy find with the clue.
Mr Seek3rs found it whilst Mrs Seek3rs was still thinking where to look ...
Pretty little bay, but beach area spoilt a bit by some dumped rubbish ... pity!
Added Seek3rs sticker and date to the log.

Day 7 of our escape from the NT trip, seeking some relief from the tropical build up
Found in the first place we looked but only just. Was replacing the cover when only just noticed it out of the corner of my eye. Log starting to get a little damp and doesn't stay in too well as there is no cap for the container.

Just about to finish our Tasmanian holiday and decided to spend these days in Launceston gathering a few caches. Found quickly after using our geosenses.
Beware of the ants who are using this as a home!

We from Central Coast NSW.... Lovely warm today but strong wind at moment. enjoyed caches on georgetown around as my mother live here... nice walk to gz as hide very well but lid missing and lognote papermache so I replace one note for you.... thanks
Another one I found in 09 but never got around to logging. Oh better late than never.
Found quickly by accident. Great hide. Foam still protecting it from insects however its damp due to missing cap. Tftc
A terrific container thanks. The log is wet and the lid missing but we could still sign the log. . . Just. SL, TNLN, TFTC
Failed to find with nickelback on 13th June.
Read previous comments saying cache was missing a lid? Don't know if cache has a lid, but we found one.

Good hide but ants have moved in. Found log with ants so put back in cache and put in piece of foam to cap it off.
Why didn't we find this last time? The cap is still missing. Put a small log scroll in but I'm sure it will be eaten. TFTC.
Found straight away, dispute being a very clever hide. Lid/cap is missing and log has mostly been eaten by the insects now living the cache. Great view.
We left no stone unturned in our search for this cache. Signed log and covered lid as best we could. Great hide.
Fairly quick find, obvious when you find it! clever hide signed a scrap of paper that was in it TFTC
LOG BOOK Needs attention lid is missing. This we would consider a excellent hide it deserves its Favorites rating. With a bit of service it may get more TFTC
Cache has lost its lid and all contents. I moved it and informed the CO. This cache cannot be logged until the logbook and lid are replaced.

20/04/2011 16:30 Found: #409 Will a claim a find but the cache is empty and the lid gone. A VERY tricky hide indeed. Searched for about 30 minutes until I realised I had put my bag down about 1m from it! Secret here is to 'Trust the GPS Luke!'
NB: The cache is damaged, missing lid and all contents including the logbook. I have notified CO. TFTC TNLN SL

17/04/2011 16:56 DNF: #394 After a long walk down to the beach and through the rocks I was confused to find that GZ appeared to be below high tide. So I looked there and found nothing as there are a huge number of rocks to search. I then figured it must be wrong so moved directly above the high tide but nothing was found there either. Like the last cacher, I have given up.
This one has me beat - I looked for about 25 minutes with no success
I am afraid you are too good for me on this one.

Having an interest in geology and earthcaches made this cache quite a bit easier Cheers Gav [6179]
Took us a few minutes to find this one. After searching all around where our GPS was indicating GZ, we stood back and something glistened in the sun. A great hide for our 500th geocaching.com find. TFTC
Found it but nearly didnt! Gu bagged this one but I will take it as my 150th! nice one Flanges!
Approached with some trepidation after reading the log referring to the bull ants. Luckily they aren't - they're just the common ant that runs all over our driveway when the sun goes down. TFTC
Ingenious! Suggest searchers use some driftwood as we did as it is fiercely guarded. TFTC!
A nice easy find after having found one of these already this trip. maintainance required as bull ants have built a nest under the cache
Very nice hide !!! Took a few minutes to scope the place out then it just seemed to pop out. Very clever once again.
Find #10 in the dark on my Last Attempt At 2000 Tour.
A tricky hide but after recalling a log or two, I adjusted my search and found it in about 5 minutes.
Thanks.

Tricked me the first time I looked but I quickly came back for a second look and found the cache. Nice hide.

This one was by far the most satisfying cache I found today. Great spot, found rather quickly although not on the first attempt. The fact that this cache has had a couple of DNF’s on it makes it a ripper in my book.

GPS not very accurate on this one. Left us wondering about the occupation of one of the Flange and Tribe members!!!
Second visit and in a lot better frame of mind...had this one in hand pronto...can't believe my pathetic last attempt....but it is a rather crafty and clever hide...very well done indeed....another goodie. TFTC Flange-1 & Tribe...Cheers.
Had to go to Gtown for junior footy today so we decided to grab a few caches while we were there but our GPSr had other ideas and after working fine all the way down from Launceston it decided to have a fit and turned itself off 20 meters from GZ at GC1N2C2 and wouldn't restart,
So we gave up and headed over to the football ground early without a find,
Met up with michaels mob at the footy and after having a grumble about the GPSr he was kind enough to lend me one of his to grab a few caches on the way home,
So after an uneventful start to the day we were pleased to be able to actually do some caching,
Found this one a bit more difficult to locate but the junior member found it after I had looked there a couple of times without seeing it,
No muggles about today,
Nice to see the sun shining in Gtown today
Love the hide, Cheers FLANGE_1&TRIBE

Time is getting on, it is rather dark, still wet and raining - but once Snuva and I had navigated our way in the dark to GZ - I am sure Snuva has her own built in GPSr, it was quickly logged then back to the car - avoiding all the crabs on the way.
I thought shining the car's headlamps down the embankment before parking to check out the terrain was a good idea. However I proved once again that I'm not a rocket surgeon: the 'easier route' that I identified actually almost meant that some unsuspecting muggled would have looked out their television-light living room to see two women with torches and one dog making their way across the back garden. What, they can't have a fence obscuring their view like normal muggles?!
We corrected our route and made our way towards GZ. The light of our torches picked up thousands of small crabs scurrying to get out of the way of us, the Giants! It seems that our torch light helped focus our search as I soon saw what seemed out of place at GZ.
Thank you for the cache.

2nd time around found this one easily. It stood out as I walked up to it!
As per pevious DNF logs it certainly looked as though it had been thouroughly searched when I first came to have a look with the mini cacher on late Sunday afternoon.

Down by the bay I found meself.
Beautiful spot on a sunny afternoon
I strolled the rockys shoreline and it wasn't long before I found myself looking up at a big, brightly coloured thingy [:o]
"This must mark the spot", I thought and I set about searching for the cache
Must have been my lucky day as I found it very quickly. Goodness knows, this one could be a devil to find [:o]
TFTC, nice bit of camo [^]

A micro with no hint... Quite a bit of disturbance with only two cachers so far.

Had 2 tries at this, first at night in the dark and again this morning.
Looked high and low but couldnt find it.
Ditto Sirius's comments re disturbance to the area.

Yeah! FTF !!! think I may have had some trouble with this one if I had not had some idea of what I was looking for....watching (and reading) the logs will prove a good read. Thanks Flange AND tribe
