Great views today. Tried this a while but school age muggles occupying seat, sitting in the sun! Tftc
Recently moved close to here. Checking out the local caches. This one, at a nice spot, still in good shape and easy to find, tftc!
What a lovely spot! Never been up here before so thanks isis58 for bringing me here, a quick & easy PnG, oh - and TFTC
Called by today and replaced the log and bag and sharpened the pencil. The audit of the log is always interesting - seeing who has signed it and who hasn't.
Last cache for the day. A nice drive to after dragging to wee people around all morning. New log needed because this one is popular. TFTC.
A bit of fine weather so headed out to stretch the legs. Dog came along to keep me company. After finding the Wrath of Nature headed on up the hill. Sat down and admired the view and of course signed the log. Thanks for the cache
We are in Nelson hunting for a house to buy before we make the move here. I got a few minute's furlough this morning, so I came here to make a quick find. Great view! Where and I??? TFTC.
Quick park and grab. Great views of town and someone's dinner smells delicious up here. Tftc.
A good place a good view a good vibration and a cache too.
TFTC .
! I cleaned the box after use with disinfectant !

Awesome vista from here ....soon found the nicely placed cache ...thanks Isis58 enjoyable
Just been picked up from my appointment and we headed uphill to where? Oh a geocache. Goid vibrations alright. Thanks for the cache isis58
I had to check out the vibrating thing, so once I confirmed that works - and that it was good - it was cache finding time. Well, that was easy cos I spotted it from the seat. It is missing a lid, was poking out and was missing a log. I don’t have a replacement, so I put back as it should be and added some RITR. That will suffice for now, but it could do with some TLC at some stage. TFTC Isis58.
I had planned a while out to make the trip over the hill today. Lately my Canterbury finds have been well outstripping the Tasman/Nelson ones, so thought this needed some redress. If I can get over once every 6 weeks or so this year that would be great.
So the weather played ball, and the plans were loose. 3 caches were on my wishlist, but none were essential today. Instead I kind of just looked at what was next closest on the map and went for that. In the end I only found one of those anyway.
There is never a bad day caching I guess, but today there were some challenges. Any thoughts of walks in the hills were quickly extinguished (excuse the pun) due to the fire ban; a couple of problem hides that I thought I had good ken on still proved elusive; and it was muggle central at a few others due to sports and whatnot. I probably DNFed or did not attempt more caches than I actually found today, so the day went quickly. Just 21 to log as found, but some good ones in there. Had good success with multis, and even solved the finals for some that will require visits later. Also caught up for a chat with team GKMLB who had helped with an SOS!
Thanks to all the COs. I will log the DNFs and hopefully they are more down to my incompetence than anything.

After an DNF up the hill this was a quick grab on the way down. Quite the noisy seat with a lovely view of the Nile area at night time. Cheers
Yes it does vibrate! Headed in this way today to pick some things up from our daughter's place just down the road. Just managed to squeeze our vehicle into the parking space, then made our way to GZ. Cache was found quickly and once additional items were removed, managed to get the log book out. Replaced log back into the plastic bag and managed to get the other items back into container as well although it puzzles me why people put things (swag) in caches that are not made to hold them. This is not the first cache we have come across that has been stuffed to overflowing with items of no value, therefore compromising the watertightness of the cache. tftc
I had an opportunity to go to the South Island and take a week off work and do some caching while Mrs Yeetrees had to go to the ANZEG Conference 2018 which was being held in Nelson.
Day 4. Nelson. This was the second day of 4 that Mrs Yeetrees had to attend classes and lectures at the ANZEG Conference 2018, while she was doing this it was my aim to go around the CBD and nearby and see if I could pick up a few of the harder caches around the area. This included a few different types of caches rather than just hitting traditional drive by caches.
After finding GCZT81 - Boxon (Nelson / Marlborough), this was the next cache that I had on my list that I wanted to find today. As I made my way out of the Maitai Valley this was the next cache that I had to pick up in this area. The drive up to GZ was definitely interesting and very enjoyable. As I neared GZ I managed to find a parking spot not too far away from GZ and it was a nice easy walk over to GZ.
Arriving at GZ it only took a few seconds to find the cache in it hiding spot. Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back as found. Thanks isis58 for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13598). Really enjoyed the views up here and deserves a favourite point.
Now where too next.

I must admit I did drive up here but sat as if I needed the rest to gaze at the view.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Last cache of the day so what better than a nice sit down ! I got the gentle hum but there wasn't too many good vibrations today but we did grab the cache. TFTC.
I approached the area searching for where it might be. Certainly didn't expect it to be as visible as it was. It was on the upright in full view. So I sat and signed put my feet up and enjoyed the views. In my 50 or so years of living in Nelson I have never been here before. Thanks for bringing me here and tftc which is now tucked away a bit better than it was.
25 March 2016 12:52. A nice little stroll this afternoon, and a quick find. What more could I want? TFTC
Tftc!
Easy find and astonishing view of Nelson!
Up and away for a few caches around Nelson today, yesterday was too wet and tomorrow we leave for Blenheim or Picton!

Found during a long finger trouble detour for the multi below. Nice view at night, Thanks.
A big days Geocaching has been planned for today with a plethora of solved puzzles, some B G S C caches to collect and graduate from, along with some good company in the shape of the Seagnoid, a caching buddy from Manawatu. Seagnoid also has some solved puzzles to find and I have some he hasn't found and....oh you get the picture.
A plan was hatched last night for an OH 6.30 start, after breakfast and caches were downloaded to respective G P S's, deleted, reloaded etc. Loads of faff. The forecast was a bit dodgy, high winds and possible rain so maybe tomorrow might be a better option, but when did a Geocacher make the right call and turn down a days caching? There was a virtual, some Earthcaches, numerous puzzles and some unfound Trads that either or both of us had not previously found, quite a balancing act and lots of miles and time consumed today. Graduated in a couple of Project G C badges too and got past 2600 caches so all in all a successful days caching.
Nice easy find whilst passing by

TFTC. Out to play for the weekend with the destination of Nelson. Caching crew on board were Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and TheWanglers, logged as PKTT for this trip. Gosh did we have fun looking for caches, most of which we found, in this very beautiful part of our country.
We managed a little sleep and commenced day 2 of our Nelson cachathon. Today was about picking up puzzle caches and having a great time. Four very excited kids!!
Thanks Isis58 for placing the cache.

On a big mission up to Nelson over Show Weekend with Purdiepurdie, Karma Reprint and Team_Gaters we signed our cache finds as PKTT the 'power packet' but we called ourselves the 'G4'. We headed off on Friday morning at 4.30am. We had a mission that we wanted to perform in Nelson and this was the day to attempt it. After a good nights sleep we headed out for the day for more laughs, caches and poke our noses here and there, driving and memory making. It was a great day we didn't stop until about 11.30pm back to base for a cuppa and relax and getting ready to do it all again tomorrow!
Quick find, onto the next...
Thanks for the cache.

[green] Hired a car and set off to do a puzzle run of Nelson. I had solved over 30 puzzles over the past few weeks, and decided today was the day to tick them off. So a puzzle only day, no traditionals allowed! And just to make sure, I only loaded the puzzles into my GPS.
Done all the puzzles I had, didn't touch the wherigos, and there is still some daylight left. Okay, I didn't do the puzzles on Rabbit Island but it was absolutely hosing down, and they are a 300m and 800m walk. Given that there was still some light left I hauled out the phone and... this one looks interesting. Oh YES! Drove up the ridiculously skinny Cleveland Terrace. It reminds me of why I like cycling in Wellington - for exactly the same reasons that most people do NOT like cycling in Wellington. Skinny, windy, hilly roads. At GZ I refused to sit down to try the vibrations - it had just stopped raining and I would have wet my pants. But the view is incredible. For that and the windy road, this cache gets my only favourite for the day. Check out the photo.

On the way home having just survived The Wrath of Mother Nature we stopped to admire the view and experience the vibrations.
That done, we figured we'd better have a look for the cache which was soon found and signed.
