17:22S37 26.655 E144 31.524The 'might', or should we say the mystery of the Macedon Ranges. We spent a great day working on changing the green icons on our map to bright smiling faces.Satellites today had the GZ 11m west of where we found the cache. Our thanks to 'AussieTrainDriver' for adding this cache to the.geo-gameboard.38127*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
Find # 15982Off for a day trip, some shopping in Bendigo, then a wander down the Calder Hwy to grab a few caches and AdLabs.Ended up in Gisborne to kill a bit of time as my original plan was to be on Mount Macedon at dusk. Thankfully a quick find here. Think it took me longer to turn the ute around than actually finding the cache. It an interesting piece of bushland here.TFTC Team_Ninja and the Year 10's at Macedon Grammar
This one bested me. Spent about 10 mins wading through the thick bush and came up short. GPS was a bit all over the shop. Will return after some more finds are logged.
Got off the beaten track to discover a good size cache. Thanks for bringing me here.
Taking mum for a drive through the Bush after a lovely family lunch at the Pug and Whistle. Thought I'd try my luck...and success!
My phone gps was off again here, probably because of all the trees so i spent some time exploring further into the bush than i needed to. The geopooch was very happy with that because it gave her a chance to enjoy her first swim of the day. She jumped into the creek and did her best platypus impersonation. Eventually i was allowed to move on and i found the cache in good order.
It has been a while since i hit the road and found some caches so i was wrapped to have found myself with time today and quite a number of days free over the next three weeks. I spent the afternoon caching in the Macedon and Trentham areas today and ended up with 25 finds, 2 DNFs, 1 did not attempt and a lot of fun. The geopooch has missed exploring and walking and most particularly swimming, she managed to get plenty of all three. I tested my legs by wearing shorts and unsurprisingly, found that blackberry, thistle and scrub were far more uncomfortable than usual. I also found some pretty sketchy four wheel drive tracks including steep hills, puddles, deep ruts and washouts. One of the hills was too much for my poor old banger and i had to do a thirty point turn on a steep section to return and find another way, i thought only fairly minor damage was inflicted. Unfortunately the geomobile was making some horrible noises on the way home so i think i will have to check it out tomorrow and see what i can do to keep her on the road for a little longer.

Cool to see all the things in there! It’s nearly 13 years old pretty neat thanks for the hide!
Had me puzzled where it was , my gpa was off by about 10m , after using the clue managed to find it was very wet in there today
Quick and easy cache find driving through the area. Cache has quite abit of water inside. But the log is still surviving so far. Thanks for the cache!
Chasing tree climbs in the area, we had to abort due to the inclement weather. So a few trads were sought after as we made our way back to Ballarat in the company of wozzle68. Thanks Team_ninja and Year 10's for showing taking us off the beaten track today. Alls good with the cache.
In the area today with The_Tritonz and this one crossed our path and we had to convert to a smiley. Thanks for the hide
Great area for a quick detour whilst in the area. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
I wonder if any of the original Year 10's still cache. Nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.

A lovely sunny day (albeit quite chilly and windy) for a road trip to Mt Macedon with Papi4506 & Geoturtle37. Nice area!

Out on a Ride with the Geo-Wife on our Geo-motorcycles and this was our 2nd stop. Using the co-ords from the App on my phone had me at the old co-ords. After reading through the posts I read the updated co-ords. This had me closer, I still had a 12m error today. But using the hint the cache was quickly found. Our first time here. Geo-wife "enjoyed" the downhill ride on a dirt track. Slow and steady had her at GZ. Now of to the Macedon Pub for lunch.
Thanks **AussieTrainDriver**

Dropped by this one for a bit of TLC after replacing my other cache at the school up the road. The tree stump which the cache was originally hidden in is now non existent so I have moved the cache slightly further away, to a new stump with more cover.

I haven't been up this way for ages but was heading up for a birthday party this afternoon and when I looked at any nearby caches I realised there were two right on the road I was going to. After no luck on the first one this was a much quicker search when I almost stood on the cache. Thankfully all was still intact as we added our name to the log. Thanks for the cache.
I logged this one whilst on the way home from scouting for prospective cache sites. Well donecfor keeping this one going.
Out caching with Jacko83 and Bentley. After a quick search around the cache was spotted. Signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Cache Team Ninja

Out and about with Ausfox!, n0worries and Bentley for day of caching around the Macedon Gisborne area.
I never knew where this school was, but had a heap of friends that went, as I went to Gisborne High
Coords a little off but a quick scavenge helped! cheers and tftc

Travelling to Bullengarook to pick up some resources for next weekends mega I am also visiting a few caches along the way.
Another quick find of an older cache in a nicely wooded area.
Thanks for placing this cache Team_Ninja

Nice easy find. Think the poor old stump has slowly fallen apart. Beautiful area. Tftc
Travelling around Australia and we are currently staying in Woodend.
So many jobs to tackle whilst here, finally it was lunch time but we had our stuff together to head on to Gisborne to find a few caches.
What a great afternoon some awesome spots and some great caches to boot.
Home after dark but that's what it's all about.

Found this today with my three boys and our dog.
This cache was exposed so I put some bark over it when we re-hid it.
Left a Frisbee, Took a small ball.
Thanks.

What a great little part of the world. Love these bush caches, beats dodging muggles in the city.!! A short stroll and a decent sized container was revealed. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC Team_Ninja.
Tooo nice a day to be inside so what else to do in the sunshine but enjoy finding a few semi local caches that I needed to clean up.
After find the cache back along the road it was just a short journey to this one. A nice quiet spot to park and have lunch.
Thanks Team Ninja

Made the most of the fine weather and went out on a caching run with BJ. Happy to say we had DNF free day TNLN. TFTC Team Ninja
This was find #2 of 7 during a 12-hour 501km road trip from Geelong to Bendigo.
The main aim was to get away from urban micros and muggles, and look for a few bigger caches that required some bushwalking.
70mm of rain over the past few hours made progress to GZ a bit low. The roads marked on my GPS were just walking tracks around here, so I got a little lost and could not drive north towards Bendigo, so had to detour towards Bacchus Marsh first.
I took a break during while wandering around, and picked up this great bush cache which is definitely off the beaten track.
Thanks, Team Ninja.

Suscoe's 23rd find from 38 caches today as we headed around the Gisbourne area with our good friend Bushfire.
It was a cool day with quite a bit of cloud cover and a steady cool breeze keeping the temperature in the mid to low teens.
The sprinkle of rain from Thursday had disappeared and all was good as we headed around the local roads.
What an enjoyable drive to GZ.
Cache located quickly and the log signed.
Thanks to Team Ninja for bringing us here. All quiet in the bush today.

Bushfire and the suscoe cachers decided to venture up to this part of the state and put a few more smilies on the map as we have had a number of mysteries worked out for far too long plus there are a number of multi's to test us out as well.
Leaving Geelong early with breakfast at Bacchus Marsh and then it was out to the Lerderderg State Park and then up here to Gisborne this was my 21st find for the day. We had a great day finding four mysteries, seven multi's and the rest traditionals and the most important thing was no DNF's.
After the little bit of rain the area smelt terrific and the cache was soon found ,signed and we were off on our way. Thanks Team Ninja for placing this cache out here.

Got the exact coordinates but it took us to the middle of the sealed road!
We continued down the beaten track, then stopped and briefly went off it to grab the cache. So so wet out here at the moment, thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.
Not exactly off the beaten track !!
I was just cruising some of the quieter roads around Macedon when I happened upon this beautiful roadside location with a cache
Easy to find it was and I dropped off the "The Tooth Fairy" travel bug

Last one for the day which made it 5 out of 5. We went too far down the track - Doc decided it was a much better location as it was guarded by killer ants (as confirmed by Doc's sore fingers). Mrs left him tail in air digging under a stump ( I took a photo and will post it soon) and found the right place. Was a little in the open so Doc made sure it was well covered before we left. Nice little spot although there was not a drop of water in the creek. Found your run route - Mrs had a similar sports teacher who used to make us run up and down sand dunes just as steep. Left a candle and took a little fish. TFTC Cheers.
I only needed to jump about 2 metres from the beaten track to get to this cache, I picked out the spot as I pulled up by looking out the driver side window.

Another Saturday, another trip to the outlaws' in Riddell... this time the kids are helping Gran decorate the Christmas tree. Me? I'm taking a short trip up the road for a few more smileys.
Second find of the afternoon, a short, pleasant drive around from the first... loving the nice big hides. Thanks for the fun.

Enjoyed the drive between The Former Year 12's Caching Stash and this one, lovely area
Nice area and the creek was flowing fast from the recent rain. We pulled up half off the road because the edges were soft and we didnt want to get bogged. A young driver stopped to ask if we were ok. Quickly found the cache signed the log, left a crazy bean and Took the Red handed clone coin. TFTC
It is beautiful forest around here - and a lovely clear winter's day to enjoy it. Found the cache after a short search - left a 'red-handed' trackable in it. Thanks for the hide.
Looked in the wrong place to start with but got it fairly quickly. Thanks Team Ninja.
a lovely still morning to be out in the bush, everything so green and the smell of the bush in the air. special. thank you Team Ninja for the cache. log book dry sl tnln
This cache formed a pat of my weekend away. We came up Kyneton for the Saturday / Sunday to watch some racing at the Kyneton car club. There was lots of time in between to do some caching. My GPS had the Montana location lock up bug while I was here and I overshot the mark. Once I restarted the Montana the cache was exactly where I expected it to be when I pulled up but didn't check. This was one of the last caches I did before heading back for dinner. TFTC
Easy find in a nice quiet area. No creepy crawlies found thank goodness!

A nice easy find on our Leap Year geocaching day out. This one was exposed so made sure it was hidden this time. Replaced plastic bag as the one there was torn.
