Logs
I didn't read any notes or logs until I started bushbashing and realised I was very underdressed for this cache. At least my feet were but I didn't have anything with me to change into so I just made lots of noise. I finally found it but the log was saturated so I signed the first page with a felt marker. Placed back to try and keep the rain out of the hole in the lid.
Sweating profusely now I need to work out how to get out of here.

A great little walk up the hill. Many thanks for the lovely grass trees and the green valley view!
good bush walk .cache is hidden amongst little black boys. 20 minutes to find from gates. found out in the open space.good luck fellow cachers.
Tried a few different ways to get to this one but we eventually headed in the right direction. After a bit of scrub bashing and a bit of blood loss cache was in hand. Tftc
TFTC there is a locked gate at the front entrance but we found a 2nd track around the back 4x4 needed.
Great spot! Loved all the different flora and even saw a freshly plundered termite nest, possibly an echidna lives nearby? A beautiful yellow bird making its nest and an expensive looking bull making cow eyes at his girls down below. Great cache thankyou!
Bit of scrub bashing but a good bit of a walk up the hill passed the gate thanks for the cache
Looking at the geocaching map and knowing that we had the nearby Nedandmrskelly ones to do today, I noticed that this was an Unloved. So into the list it goes.
The road to the top is now blocked by a locked gate, so we parked at the bottom and shank's pony-ed to the top. Nice view. Now where's the cache, temingi? Oh you mean THROUGH that lantana? (I HATE LANTANA!!) No lets go around. So typically we took the long way in, AND the easy way out. Now why didn't we do that properly?
Anyway, I soon located the more of a regular sized cache rather than a small cache and did my duties. While there, I was enamoured by the multiplicity of Grass Trees (Xanthorrhoea) - see photo.

There is a gate now but you can park and walk up the hill it is a council road
A great little find. Quiet an adventure with it over grown and gps troubles . Karen and chris
On holiday and staying close by. Unfortunately we couldn't find the cache. Be warned, the march flies are a menace. Still new at this and have yet to get a grip of using the compass/ navigation. Kids still enjoyed the climb. The area has been sub divided and area bulldozed. Has the cache been squashed? Will go back and try again.
Having a great day hiking and throwing a few Geocaches in as I make my way slowly back to camp. This one kept sending me to thick bushy patches but it really isn't that hard. Had cache in hand very quickly after arriving at GZ.

My first yepp06 find. Patience was required. My gps wouldn't kick-in for half an hour so I plodded about noisily in order to alert the natives to my presence. I didn't count on the big, black scorpion under a rock! My advice; pack leather gloves in your kit for caching in the bush. I found a sturdy stick as a tool. Eventually gps came good. Found not long after. Logged from top of big rock after scorpion experience! Tftc
Found at 2:06 PM in the company of Temingi GAFF1. This cache hasn't been found for exactly one year, which is odd as it is not that far out. We eventually found a view from the top where the cache is located.
We then went around to where the Temingi family had their 25 acre property nearby and learned all about how they lived off the land.
This was the last cache for the day for us and the last cache in Yeppoon on this visit. We have had a wonderful time and more important enjoyed the company of Dave and Ann the most.
Thanks yepp06.

Having met up with RVGeos we were keen to get out and explore the Yeppoon area or should we just say Temingi territory. We were very impressed with the scenery and the creative hides and made for a great day out. This was day one as the creativeness of the hides and the length of time it took for us to find them made it necessary to come back to this area and around to Emu Park for a second day. Not that we are complaining, we loved it and found a good place to have fish 'n chips for lunch each day - nothing better by the seaside. A lovely drive and then a short walk to gz.
Thanks to yepp06.

Is this one still in its place, we searched all of the hill and didnt come up with anything. But was a fun adventure for us and the kids anyway, had never been in this area before.
Found with Bedmaker while site seeing with a muggle friend. Interesting spot we wouldn't have known about if not for caching.

Found with TassieGirl13 while in the area over the holidays.
A muggle friend was driving us around the tourist areas today.
As we approched this we were able to convince him to take a minor detour to track this one down.
Some great views form up here, took a little searching with so many rocks around but in the end I eventually found the right one.

As I drove around the curve in the road I noticed the sealed track heading up the hill but finding my way to it was a different matter but was achieved.Parked near the old water tank, scrambled up the steep dirt track and soon had the container in hand. Log was signed but before returning I went back to the car and grabbed a few swaps as the cache was a little short on it now has a few more.
I have the same problem with my caches in Geelong with cachers taking swaps and either not leaving anything or just putting a card in the container.
Thanks for bringing me out to this location as I would not have been here except for the cache.

Not sure about the name - not much of a view from here. Drove up the track to within 30m of the cache. TNLN. TFTC
Drove up to the water tank...a bit scrambling and slipping on gravel path, bush bashing and avoiding spider webs then Mr Bushies2 found it. Thanks yepp06.
Nice wee walk up the track and into the bush, and a fairly simple find once we got there. Cheers Gav [8490]
Found at 1610. Driving along this wonderful bitumen road and the GPSr said take side track. So I took the side track along the side track and drove to the end. One bitumen drive to the left that looked like it was a private road as it had a letter box but the adjacent road had no letter box. Drove up this steep hill to the top and parked at the locked gate of the water tank. Walked up a short steep litlle dirt track and heaed bush. Not too difficult to walk in. Very many native grass trees. Quickly found GZ. Everything in good orer in its new System box. First find in 38weeks. TNLNSL TFTC
896. Located the cache at 12 noon after a quick short steep drive to the tank, walked what looked to be a new driveway and easy access for cachers to the newly replaced cache by yepp06,
yepp06 and Jylan Wynne TFTC.

Drove up the track but there was a tree down near the top which made turning around a very interesting exercise. The 4wd earned it's keep.
Thanks yepp06

Hi Jylan - cache badly in need of maintenance. Needs something with a tight clipping lid (systema container), or a screw lid. Full of water and ants. The logbook is saturated, and everything else drowned. Sorry to bring bad news, but it is a good cache, and worth fixing up.
Really nice spot, but I can tell you there has been at least 4 inches of rain in the area - that's because the cache was full of water. Needs a new everything including container. Made some plastic swaps, but couldn't write in the notebook.
After much beating around the bush, found the cache without too much trouble. Good view from the lookout.
The container needs a bit of maintenance. The lid is brittle and cracked from the weather.

Parked at the bottom and walked all the way up. Thanks for the views and the cache.
Nice view . Team K took nothing left Nothing.
Sorry Megatyte didn't notice a camera but wasn't looking for one. If your sure you lost it there than give me call as I am only 30k away and can duck back next week and have a look
if you like.

Heading north chasing a FTF, but the temptation to stop this and Plain Creek proved too tempting, much to my later frustration.
Another easy find at 1120 hrs. Tried to cover the container up a bit more, to shield it from the sun, but surprisingly its doing a good job keeping the rain out.
Cheers

Another easy cache with nice views. Ended up sitting there for a while just listening to the wind blowing through the trees and the wildlife in the area. The peace and quiet. Then the bloody mobile phone went off and that was the end of that. Might want to replace this container also. The sun and weather will destroy the yoghurt container in a couple of months. TNLNSL
