A nice find and a cool spot. Cache has some holes at the bottom though and everything inside is super wet so wasnt able to sign the logbook.
A pleasant walk, thanks for bringing us here. If anyone else is having trouble with the clue, also think about when the cache was set!Cache was waterlogged and is cracked, so I couldn't sign (but took a photo). Dried it out as best we could.
After doing the Strickland Falls loop track, we extended our walk to look for this cache. An easy find, but it was full of water. Couldn't sign the log.Left some treasures. Thanks for the cache!
Quick and easy find, unfortunately unable to sign the log as the container was full of water and everything inside was very soggy. Added photo as proof of visit. Tftc
A nice simple find but unfortunately it looks like the container has been dropped and cracked. Which meant that when we found it it was very full of water so a photo because I couldnt sign the log this time
Found this on 2nd day of our road trip from Melbourne to Gold Coast with my wife and son. We had lunch here and quickly grabbed a geocache. This evening we went on to Flynn's Beach having left Goulburn in the evening. TFTC.
Had to broaden my search for this, and the name does not help. Not really sure what it refers to. Was in a bit of a hurry, so rread the hint, which didnt help either really. I suppose a lot can change in 13 years. TFTC.
Hadn't been here before. A cool breeze on a sunny morning made for for a very nice walk. Must return for the other couple. Thanks Ourhome.
The kids loved this spot. Tftc.
The container has some small holes in the bottom, allowing some damp in.

We decided to go for a walk in the bush today but wanted to be able tot bring the dog. Fortunately the state forests are dog friendly, so we took her around the nearby Arboretum Trail. On the way back I managed to detour here to make a quick find. The container has holes in it and theology was a bit damp. I had a new ziplock bag on me, so I've double-bagged. I also grabbed the TB. TFTC.
Reasonably quick find whilst exploring the Strickland State Forest Released a TB to start it's adventure also.
Cache could use some maintenance - container has holes and contents are damp. If it's still like this next time I'm down here, I'll try to fix it.

Found on a day hike with Erina High School Masterclass students. Nice easy find in a good location. Thanks Ourhome.
Had a 5ish minute search, checked the hint and found it soon after. Thanks for the cache!
Adventure day with BarberBlackSheep, made this quick find while out walking and exploring! TFTC ??
Found with shaneo58 doing some around the central Coast/Strickland National Park, coming down from Newcastle/Lake Macquarie in the morning, getting up in the low 20's deg later in the day. Nice easy find, on some great walks. This is the 6th cache of 12 for today. Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache Ourhome

The Geowife is heading up to the Central Coast today - the first time since our sojourn overseas. She will be busy between 11 and 4, meaning I have a few hours to grab some caches.
But rather than a binge, today I'm targeting two specific caches - that aren't particularly close to each other. And I can work in a previous DNF which isn't too far from one of them.
In the end I made six finds - most with bush walks of varying lengths. A pleasant, somewhat leisurely, day.
Pity about the DNF...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Short stroll and and easy find in the logical spot.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then back the way I came and off to the next one.

Decided to come for a walk in the Strickland Forest today. Nice day, not too hot, perfect for a walk. Container in ok condition but there are a couple holes in the bottom of the container. Nevertheless the log book dry. TFTCSL Thanks for placing Ourhome

Found on a very windy Saturday morning visit to this beautiful forest. Cache has been leaking and log has been wet and is now going mouldy. TFTC
Really good spot was looking a couple meters away at first but found in a minute really easy couldn't sign the log because it was wet
What an amazing spot. Finding places like this is why we keep on geocaching. MR9 looked at the hint and was CIH. TFTC.
A great find at the end of our walk out to the Strickland Falls & Cabbage Tree Loop. The contents are all wet so couldn’t sign.
Found 1:18 pm with Roz65, Dlturner and KazzaCosmo. This cache find along with the others came about due to an epic tale in regard to a nearby puzzle Prince in Distress. Ages back the search in a sense started for the puzzle and recently I approached Roz65 again and yesterday she got back to me about doing the caches here. So I was in because the stars had aligned. We agreed to meet near this cache. On my way in I got slightly detoured until a quick chat with Roz showed I was not going the right direction. I headed the right way and then met Roz and the others. They had already found this cache so I did the duty of searching for it and had the cache in hand shortly after. Signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Now onto the next location.
Thanks for the cache.

Last one for the day in Strickland. Didn't look at it closely enough and thought it was just off the road - which I suppose it is but would take a mountain climber to do it that way. Once on the right track an easy find
Took the wrong track looking for Stoney Creek Timberwolf but luckily was at least right for this cache. Easy find after reading the clue... TFTC
It was such a beautiful autumn day today we headed off for a hike through Strickland State forest. I did a quick check, loaded some caches and set off. The area was such a pleasant surprise and not at all what I was expecting. The only downer were the leeches. We must have had half a dozen on each leg every time we looked down. A few made it through the shoes and socks and up the pants leg. Looked a bit like a victim of some bizarre horror movie as we left the forest. This was the first find. Cache was in good condition.
Nice and easy, Found while out on a walk with Ausfeet and the Aussie Greythounds.
Cache has holes in bottom, some moisture is getting inside but log is fairly dry in its ziplock.

Ah, the picnic area here has been done up a bit since I was last here. Looks good! Will have to try out the new BBQs.
I have found this cache before, and happy to see it is in great shape. Dry inside even though the container has some small holes in the bottom. Left a playing card and moving through trackables "FarmtagZ" and "Germany meets the world". Cheers!

I have never been into this forest before so thanks very much for the cache and inspiring me to come here. What a spot! Lovely and quiet. Picked up one leech on my walk around but other than that the only drama is the one bird who sounds like the Predator for the movie. creepy. A quick find. TNLN TFTC
Nice and easy find but got sprung by fellow cachers on the trail behind us. TFTC.
After Stoney Creek Timberwolf we continued along the track until it did not want to go where we did, so we went straight up the hill. It was easier then you might have expected (but we did do so hard training). Just before the peak we found an excellent cave that others seem to have used as a campground, but not many as it seemed mostly untouched. We then continued on and found the tree on the rocks. It was much smaller then expected. The cache was found quickly, then we followed this ridge track right back around to the Stoney Creek Timberwolf cache we had just found, as the "short cut" to the car park seemed a little steep.
Thanks for the cave discovery, bush bash, scramble and cache!

After finding Stoney Creek Timberwolf we were uncertain on how to approach this cache. we followed our noses and kept walking along the Stoney Creek Trail and were happy that it appeared to change direction and take us closer to this cache. However the trail it joined onto then started taking us away from the cache. Having not seen a map of the walking trails all afternoon and mindful that we still had to get back to the car and exit the forest before gate closing time we decided to bush bash. we were only 150m from the cache how hard could it be. Well considering our recent trip up South Brother this slight bush bash was a walk in the park (state forest) and we made good time towards the top of the hill where we were sure we would find a trail. Just before we arrived at the trail (which i found out later was called Cabbage Tree Trail) Tombi spotted a cave and had an explore. Then it was a short walk along the trail to the geo zone followed by a quick search and we had the cache in hand. then we had to get back to the car. We followed Cabbage Tree Trail south towards the car only for it to take us within 150m of the car park then swing around and follow the hill back towards the Stoney Creek Timberwolf cache. Luckily for us we had enough time to walk all the way around rather then attempt a bush bash down to the car as the bush seemed more thicker and there appeared to be the very real possibility of a cliff in our way. This is my 1st visit to Strickland SF but probably not my last. My phone got me to where I needed on the trail then the hint dud the rest. Nice hide ... thanks ourhome.
