Nice and quick find while out for a walk with a non-caching friend. Still quite a lot of blackberries around so long pants are a must around this area. Thank you SDL for the cache!
I think this is the first one of this series we have collected. We shall have to find the others and then venture out for the final. All good here. Thanks for the hide and reason to explore more of Arawangs slopes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Slowly working my way through this marvellous series! Blowing a gale atop Mt Arawang today but that only added to the spectacle up here. Terrific views and very energising walkthanks!
Geohound and I were out pack training for my upcoming Flinders Ranges hike. Although intent was to keep the heart rate down on the Mt Arawang Summit Trail, we were racing rain and daylight. Both in the zone we managed to bag this cache and take in the views. TFTC Sol de Lune!
Back up the hill where the rain was still holding off, and the sun trying to shine through a very cloudy sky.
The mountains in the distance look dark and beautiful with low cloud hanging over them.
All was very quiet at GZ and so we stopped for awhile to really enjoy the beautiful and very green views of Canberra.
Log signed. It’s lovely to find some older hides on this mountain.
Thanks Sol de lune

I walked right by it but then spotted it as I was about to give up the search. TFTH
Out for a stroll on a few hills, the rain has set in:(
Lid of cache broken, but usable. May not last long.

Couldn't find it... But just when I was leaving , I saw the cache just lying there. I have been searching at the wrong spot!
A beautiful morning walk up down and around the mountain with J+J.AU that turned into a couple of hrs. Weather started out great for the day and turned pretty warm later on. All caches found fairly easy.

#1595 With the recent grass and blackberry growth this cache took a little bit to track down. Got there in the end and made my mark. Time to head down before heading back up. 3 of 11 today.
Damo without the rest of the Cheesemobile. On a walk while visiting Nanna Cheese in Kambah. No pen but lovely to climb the hill.
On what turned out to be a great day for caching, and an exhausting one, I was out on the Ridge collecting caches with some geo pals. This was one of the caches as well as a nearby trig. TFTC Sol de Lune.
Great to get up this hill at last, find some older caches and check out the views. Great to be out on on a walk with some friends on Cooleman Ridge. A blue tongue lizard was spotted, guarding the cache.
Thanks for hiding this cache Sol de lune

Out with a small group today to collect some caches on Coolamon ridge. Great views from the top. Tftc
So cool to find another one of these. I have signed the mystery ages ago but cool to get another one today. Once I have them all I can claim the final. Fantastic views.

#4026 Found during a walk during lockdown. Green-martian had been here before. Duffcos first time. Cache in good nick.
Today I adventured out for only the fourth time, on Lockdown Day 15, for a much needed hour of exercise. Lucky for me this area is within my radius.Bonus!
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to the COs for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

Yay another trig point with a hammock. What more could you want really! So peaceful up here, quick find. Tftc
Great spot, enjoyed the hunt for this one - was scrambling around for a bit before geokid found it without trying! TFTC
It was a perfect Canberra spring day today, even though it's not even spring yet. Since there is snow on the Brindies, we thought we would take the GeoPoodle out for a walk somewhere where their were both views and geocaches, and, today, the lucky winning location was Mt Arrawang.
We headed in through the horse paddock, and then up the steep climb, before heading down in a westerly direction and picking up the caches down that way - and we even spotted and logged a trackable..
This was cache number three, and, apart from the THREE lots of muggles (and one dog) taking a break nearby, which meant more stealth than usual, it was quickly found, and signed.
Thanks for the Cache Sol de Lune

A straightforward find with the GeoPup as we rambled around and over the mountain on a gloomy day. Thank you!
I scaled the mountain for the beautiful views this fine sunny Sunday morning. Was very pleAsed to make this find - despite having been up here yesterday afternoon and overlooking it... TFTC!
Cache 6248 on 19 Jun 2020.
After a week of working from home I felt the need to grab a few caches, and since it was a gorgeous day, arranged with the boss to have this afternoon off. Decided to focus on Cooleman Nature Reserve as there were a few caches in the vicinity that I could grab on a round trip. Managed to score nine caches for the afternoon in glorious weather. I really like caching with other people, but it was nice to head out by myself too. Lots of kangaroos and black wallabies spotted. Walked on paths, tracks, footpads and desire trails - really enjoyed the exercise and the lovely views from all over!
Third cache of the afternoon, and happy to get up the top for the commanding view. The blackberries are closing in on the hiding spot, but still okay to reach over the top of them. Actually lots more blackberries than o was expecting on the ridge.
Thanks Sol de lune for the cache and the fun! Good to grab a few more of your older caches!

Another day progressing my tour of the Centenary Trail. I figured I may as well grab a few caches along the way and I chose this one as I remember getting another in the series a while ago. (I hope I made a note of the hint for that one at the time!) Quick search revealed the cache and I have made sure I filed the hint for this one. TFTC and this series that I will make a point of tracking down the others and completing soon.
Love finding something substantial and wondering what puzzle series this belongs to. Should have done my homework first. TFTC
E E E E EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE [Found!] at 3:51!
Important caching day for clearing purposes. Got Tuggerong, Tuggerong hill and many other places today. TFTC everyone!
Another Neighbourly Neighbours Cache, gee I am starting to find almost all of these. Very impressed that you managed to hide a cache this size so close to the trig point, I guess the blackberry bushes keep people away! Log signed and replaced. TFTC Sol De Lune!!

Ah, no luck. Spiky blackberries, cranky geokiddies, and Vandahar is babywearing so that doesn’t help! Will try again when the vines are less abundant.
Had to do some manoeuvring as to not go into the blackberry bushes but was a good find
Took a long time to pickup, so many muggles demonstrating their walking (and sitting) skills, tftc
Found, lots of blackberry bushes growing after the rain. Spectacular views in all directions.
**This Cache:**
Two groups of people were at the trig point here today, the ridge was absolutely packed. Never seen so many walkers and bike riders in a Canberra Nature Reserve before! Isolation is obviously making people go a bit stir crazy.
Luckily I could search for this one without being spotted whilst Dan admired the views and kept a lookout to make sure nobody was coming this way.
Uncovered the cache eventually, it is very overgrown here!
Thanks Sol de Lune
DROPPED A TB AND PICKED UP A TB! (Which wasn't even listed in the cache but in Neighbourly Neighbours - Urambi Hills....... same series but wrong hill!)
---
**Today:**
After enjoying a successful caching adventure around half of Cooleman Ridge a few days ago, and then being cooped up at home for two days straight without even stepping foot out my front or back doors, I decided it was about time I left isolation again to get some essential exercise! Too many days off, glad I still have a job in this crisis which I go back to again on Tuesday
Chose to clean out more of Cooleman Ridge today, and did a good effort only leaving a couple of ones that are easily accessible by car to grab on an off day. DSD joined me on the walk as he also had two more up here he needed to find!

After logging two previous DNFs dating back to 13.May.2015 it was nice to have this cache found and a Yellow smiley to add to the map. Signed DSD, many thanks Sol de Lune for Neighbourly Neighbours - Cooleman Ridge.
Took a bit of ferreting around in the vines but then it was obvious, poking out from a rock.
