Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Started our journey from Kangaroo side and travelled on very windy road to GZ. Grabbed the acquired information and proceeded to WP2, no sizn of cache anywhere.. Extended our search and some. Then caught a glimps of what looked like a possibility and it was the cache, it had been muggled, and some one had relocated it, we will forward pictures to CO, take note, puzzle element broken. Cache was located 41 mt from GZ. The view is spectacular and well a visit. Log book missing so we left our sticker in the lid of cache. TFTC
What a great spring day out on a leisurely caching hunt with J+J.au. Our adventure already told in previous log. Fantastic location and enjoyed the challenge. TFTC
rough terrain slight challenge to get to it ,sadly full of lolly wrappers and one action figure, needs to be relocated
Found with Hools26 while passing by on a cycling trip.Had sat on WP1to admire the view previously, before knowing about Geocaching. Thanks,
Everything back to normal now. You'll be able to find the cache without WP1, but you won't be able to log the find without visiting WP1. You'll see why when you get there.
Seems the cache has been disturbed recently but all is well. For a short period of time you'll be able to log this one without getting the info from WP1 - but I'd recommend a trip to WP1 anyway. As soon as I get out there I'll replace the missing piece of the puzzle.
What an epic adventure! Over shot the sign (mainly because the GPSr didn't recognise the track we were on), so we didn't have the numbers from WP1.
Before we knew it, we were at GZ. Couldn't see anything because of the rain and fog. Managed to find the cache ok, and as it turned out, we didn't need the numbers.
It's a real goat track to get up there and I was a bit nervous being in a 2WD. It would be an awesome view in clear weather.

Wow, there's been long gaps between finds, and now 2 on the same day!
This was a real challenge. After solving the co-ords puzzle I headed to where I thought GZ was, only to have the GPS tell me I was 600 mtrs away. So, assuming I'd taken the wrong track, I headed back and ended up at at dead end. After giving Mr Garmin a stern talking to, he showed me the way back to where I'd already been, where the cache was soon discovered.
Unfortunately, it has obviously been discovered by muggles too. There were scraps of paper with obscene drawings on them, the swaps had been removed from their packaging, and it looks like it's been ransacked. However, the log book and container are still intact, and I cleaned up as best I could. I considered relocating the cache, but then thought it was unlikely those morons would make the treck out here more than once, so left it in situ.
Thanks HunterGatherers for a cache in this top location - the views are magnificent!

What a fantastic view, nothing worse than extracting the cache and then getting invaded by muggles.
Managed to get it back to its hiding spot with no dramas

Number 2.. probably a great view, couldn't see it this time due to all the mist. Fun clue! Lots of rain, very slippery and muddy road on the way in. Took a nutrigrain CD, dropped a set of lithium batteries.
How do you find places like this? Absolutely fantastic!! I enjoyed the searched to get here at all and had fun with the little puzzle at the end.
Tnanks for showing this place Huntergatherers!

I'd had a go at this one once before, back then I had no cache notes or map and the auto routing function had me going all over the place.
Today, with a map it was very easy. Great views at GZ. I have spent many a night down below. Loved the cache container. TNLN Thanks

We happened to be down at the camp in question last weekend however didn't walk up. Today whilst we were in the area decided to finish this one off. What a fantastic view at the waypoint- an absolutely great use of this spot for the cache. No troubles with the cache itself after getting the required information. A fantastic cache. Thanks.
Spectacular views from both WP1 and GZ. It took us a while to find the correct road to the cache, but we got there in the end. This is the first of it's type of cache we have seen so far, highly recommended. Great cache stashed full of goodies. Thanks TheHunterGatherers for another great cache.
a great cache to do and the view was fantastic left battery booster and 1000 rupiah.took speakers and scewdivers .picked up coin thanks. TheHunterGatherers
We have been wanting to try this one since it was placed as the description and logs made it sound quite different.
Well, we finally found ourselves in the area and were greatly rewarded with one of the most magnificent views of he Shoalhaven valley and river. Congrats to TheHunterGatherers for the very innovative clues, the final one being a "doozy".
Left a Scottish TB, and took an unactivated Geo Coin.

A fitting cache for the last day of the month. I found the relevant topo in my collection but still couldn't get on the right road! Don't hire me as a guide. Phoned Lucy & Roo who put me on the right track. The cache was a puzzle with a twist which only revealed itself right at the end. Brilliant idea. I took the TB, left my geocoin & a bungee ball. Ahh - 5 hours later the name clicks. Thank you.

Unlike Lucy & Roo I didn't find the right track. The Nuvi (which I have rated with one star) took me the wrong way as usual so did a hui & then tried to follow my directions, which I had written down based on a map I had Googled. That didn't work either. I'll seek enlightenment from DECC or get the relevant topo. Onwards.
For some reason, I didn't get the automatic notification that there was a new cache in the area, so when I came across this cache while looking for something else, I was quite surprised. I was even more surpised to find that no one had logged it yet, FTF often not lasting that long around here!
So finishing work a bit earlier this afternoon, I headed off, having already solved the puzzle during a coffee break earlier in the day. Initially I went the wrong way - you can't always trust your navigator to take you the right way - but realised my error and turned around. Eventually I found the right track, with a distinct lack of local knowledge or preparation I might add.
I was pleasantly surpised arriving near GZ, and even more so when I headed off to WP 1; the views, even on an overcast and hazy afternoon are simply magnificent. The required information collected, it was a short walk to GZ and the
cache. A blank log confronted me to top off the afternoon!
Cache stuff completed, I took some afternoon tea (lucky I thought to pack some) back out to WP1 and sat down and just took in the view. It is worth a visit just for that alone. It was only then that the name of the cache 'clicked'. This is not an area I have visited much before, but I will be back, this time with the rest of my Crew in tow.
Well done TheHunterGatherers, an excellent experience all round!
