Swung by here with the kids today. This was published around the time I first started caching, and finally made it TFTC
What a cool spot! TheTraveller Jnr loved looking at the village through the fence. TFTC
Nice little afternoon adventure for me! Very cool spot, thank you for bringing me here! TFTC!!
Cool little village, my wee girl loved seeing the little houses. Cache in good condition swag slightly damp but logbook nice and dry. TFTC
#10,301. I am down in Southland and Otago for a week on a mixture of work and holiday. The trip got delayed by a few hours by airport woes in Wellington. Finally I arrived in Invercargill and picked up the rental car. Thankfully its long evenings down here so managed to fit in 4 and half hours of caching before sunset. I was heading up here to do the CANZ cache but stopped to pick this one up. Looks like a fascinating place to visit if you get the invite. The cache did not take too long to locate. Signed and replaced the container where found. Thanks W.E.K.A for hiding it here.
I have gone a bit further afield from Gore today.
I admired the village from afar.
Cheers for the cache.

Visited this hidden village. Left my calling card. Cheers.
Thursday 5 November. Wintons wherigo is on the radar today also visited Foresthill. Time to go exploring Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Having a weekend in Queenstown visiting some friends, so decided to make a bit more of the trip and transfer a rental car from Queenstown to Christchurch and go the long way along the Southern Coast of the South Island, mainly focusing on the Virtual caches down here, and anything else I head past.
Quick find as I went past, thanks for the cache.
Quick find as I went past, thanks for the cache.
There were a lot of cars and people on the other side of the fence so I just kept a very low profile. Picked up a TB.
Maintenance check - all fine, although we have modified the hint due to growth since the cache was placed.
Heading for CANZ but this was almost on the way so I stopped to grab it. Might not be up to it on the way out
Cute wee village tucked away under the trees.
Thanks for the smilie.

Driving around and caching. Nice garden village and wedding venue on the property. The cache was half full of water, but the log was reasonably dry. Poured off the water but couldn't dry the box any way.
The village was closed and it looked like a marquee was being erected for some event. Cache was a quick find but some muppet pierced the log bag with the pencil. SL and left cache goods wrapped up in strong bag in cache. tftc
Tftc - what an amazing place - had no idea this was here - so pleased I have made the effort to come out and find this cach - guess that is part of why we all enjoy this hunting so much
Straightforward find in early morning fog, while in Invercargill. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Mr Potty and friends. Kids glad to see a variety of stuff to swap. Sixth find in our hunt for ten today.
Thanks for showing us this hidden village. Unfortunately, the garden was closed so had just a limited view. TFTC
A hidden village indeed, what a awesome discovery. Thank for bringing us to this spot. This is what geocaching is all about.
This was awesome, I wish we could have gone inside to have a closer look around.
What a treasure this place is. Tucked away from the meddling crowd, this place deserves a visit when open. I will make the effort.
Thanks for the cache! Must say the dog wasn't much help in finding this one but he enjoyed going right into the conifer!
Cache number 50! I'm staying in the area with a friend and we decided to take a little Boxing day geocaching trip. She didn't know anything about this village so it was nice to show her something different in the area. Interesting little place. The inside of the container had some water so I emptied it out and dried the tub. The logbook was damp but still usable, maybe the recent rain hasn't done it any good. TFTC
'Investigator 3' had already been here with The 5 Inspectors... So we had to come out for a look as well. Very cool spot. TFTC
Bugger just looked at the hint now that I am home and in the warm! Was looking in the right place but got soaked. Looking forward to having another hunt.
found with Abbey from the 3 investigators at "The Abbey". Interesting garden. TFTC
Who knew ?? This cache is by the most beautifully landscaped setting. Spent a while admiring the village.
Awesome location! We live so close and had no idea the church and mini village was there
