Unfortunately although the lid seemed to be sealed when we found the cache it still had about 1/4 inch of water in the bottom of it. We dried it out as best we could but the log book is still quite wet.
Thanks for the cache and for showing us this park

Got to gz on this one and there in full view was the container. Opened it and the log was fairly useless. Finally scratched my name and date on the paper. Pushed the cache in more TFTC

Great little park but unfortunately the cache is soaked. Tried to improve it on leaving but there's only so much one can do.
Thanks indeed

Found 11:30, on a rather wet and miserable morning.

TNLN, CSI=1, thanks Ferguson, Elizabeth, Richard & Jopkins.

This is not hidden that well so I found it quickly. Tried to hide it a bit better but it only goes under so far.
I took the Jeep Geocoin and Left Pam's Spoon TB to start some Aussie adventures. TFTC

had a good time looking for this one... lots of fun my second geocach... nice positioning had me looking round for a while . but got there in the end..
some of the mums and kids on the playground looked a little bit concerned perhaps thought i was lost.

Walked into the park and realised I'd left my torch back in the car @ 7pm...and we'd parked the car back on Dandenong Road about 500m away as we like a bit of a walk thru the burbs with our cache. So no going back. Not to worry, the tennis courts were providing ample lighting in the general area...and then some and the people playing tennis were so engrossed in their game that they had no idea we were even there. Took us a little while to find the sneaky hide...I suspected where it was hiding, but with no direct light it made it a little more difficult.

Found easily on our way to visit our newly born grand daughter. TFTC

King Jnr with Prince 1 who then went on to play in the playground. Liked the location but the damp log book needs replacing. Thanks Ferguson, Elizabeth, Richard & Jopkins. Out: TB

Nice park, glad to get out of the car to stretch the legs. found the object at GZ but the cache took a bit longer. The inside was very damp and the log book getting difficult to write on.

Used to come to this park all the time when we lived close by. I wasn't a geocacher back then, and more deeply, this cache didn't exist then either.
Missed it on the first search, then did a second lap and spotted it.
SL. Took a little red car and 15c (my eldest is just learning about money). Left the ESC 2008 TB.
TFTC.

Top marks for location. The park was very beautiful and the cache hidden well out of view of nearby muggles. However the choice of container can be put down to a newbie mistake. Explore some water-proof containers, you might find they work better here.

Thanks,

R - B

A quick stop while in the area today and managed to avoid the many muggles using this delightful park. Initially thought about a FTF attempt on this one but would have missed by a few hours and it wasn't even pprass! Big Grin
This area has so many of these classic English gardens, we are so lucky.

Funny that we should find this cache very wet inside... we used tissues to get most moisture out. A new plastic bag & new log would be good for the next visitor. The log book was very damp, to the point where I am not sure that our signature will be registered once the paper dries. Found with "Co" of Snips and Co on a day out caching!

Found this one a little damp, but nothing a tissue or two couldn't fix.

Nice park. It was jumping this afternoon, muggles everywhere. Fortunately not around where I was looking.
Followed the GPS for a while down the fence, but then read the description and found the cache.
The log is a bit damp.
Thanks, Robmc.

We found our 1st Melbournerogers cache at 2:45pm as the 6th of 15 on our Close Cache Clean-Up West Afternoon. A nice little park and a nice easy find too just out of sight of the nearby tennis players. Unfortunately, the cache, like the nearby large object, holds water. Thanks for the cache from D, H & A B-A.

Found at 11.15am. This is such a lovely park that we weren't surprised to find every square metre of it filled with muggles. After a nice walk through the beautiful avenue of trees, we (ok, I) enjoyed looking at the well-cared for garden beds as we approached gz.

The gpsr was not very sure about which way to go, and I ended up making the find while the reluctant spouse hung around bushes looking unnecessarily dodgy. Big Grin

Thanks to Ferguson, Elizabeth, Richard & Jopkins for the cache and for showing us a gorgeous park we didn't know existed.

I was on one of my regular trips to the SE suburbs to visit family this afternoon and it was quite convenient to detour through this area and check this cache out. I was most impressed with this really delightful little park hidden in here (actually, it's much bigger than I expected for this area) and I was able to make a quick find even though there were a few tennis players getting a workout nearby.

Thanks Ferguson, Elizabeth, Richard & Jopkins

Yay we found our first cache!!! It was in an easier spot than we thought as this was our first time we were fossicking through the bushes for a while, luckily not many people were around. We left a little parachute man and took nothing.

This one had us wandering in circles for a little while until we got the hint. It's a beautiful park, and quite a busy one today with lots of dog muggles. The tennis club was in action also, but neither was a problem. We took nothing, and left a little car. TFTC.

Dropped by here on the way to work. Actually, it was the second time as I was thwarted by a council truck parked nearby on the first attempt.

Quite a bit of "talking" on my mobile phone was required in order to look less suspicious to dog walking muggles, until I reached the relative seclusion of the the GZ.

Thanks Ferguson, Elizabeth, Richard & Jopkins. A very nice park.

Found at 16:30 after leaving work a bit early to find it on my way home. As pprass commented, the tennis coach was providing plenty of encouraging comments. Lovely well maintained park. TNLN TFTC.

Found at 5.45pm GAFF1. Another convenient cache on the way home from work. A lovely area and what made it more enjoyable was the tennis coach at the nearby courts telling his young charges that they were doing really well! Loved the encouragement, because when I looked over after finding the cache they really weren't that good at all.
My GPS decided to pack it in for the day, so I had to use TomTom, but with the more than explicit directions on the cache page, the cache was found in the very first spot that I checked - with the aid of a torch.
Thanks FERJ.

The full Juzzlea crew made a dash for GZ to have a go at getting our FTF. And we were lucky enough to make it!

It just goes to show, that even when you've just left the dentist after getting the first part of root canal treatment it is worth checking your emails for any new cache listings.

With all the excitment of racing to be the FTF, we forgot all our swaps. We took the VW TB, but will be back tomorrow with a better swap than the little ball we left behind.
