Area has had a fire thru and bulldozed. Had a good look and feel around but no luck.
Got to GZ to find area burnt and bulldozed around GZ. Has not been found for over a year, needs checking.
Quick find by Jan, we were surprised that so few people have attempted the cache. the road was fine in an old civic with very little clearance. Took kite left three years ago and left bouncy ball. TFTC.
20/04/2011 19:25 Found: #412 If you want to see bilbys, wallabys and possums, then come out night caching in Tassy! This was a big drive at night on a very ordinary dirt track, especially for my 2WD but my luck has held with yet another quick find. TFTC TNLN SL TB OUT: TB14NY1
We were very surprised that after very heavy rain the previous evening, the rough road into this cache was in reasonable condition - only occasional puddles, not many deep ruts and only one slippery section. On nearing GZ the cache was a quick find. TFTC
I have passed by here on runs for years and it was interesting to see the road from the drivers perspective for a change. A nice easy find. Took nothing left TB Little Green Tractor. TFTC
At Back Creek which is 3k from gz the road was closed and the bridge removed for redecking. The workers said this was the only way in. Out with the geo cycle and off to gz, a quick find and back to the vehicle. There is no stopping a mad geocacher. TNLN Thanks
This was one of those 'are we there yet?' caches. A quick find then travelled a little bit further to check out the Slate Company. Very interesting pile of slate there. Guess that tree on top has numbered days left! After reading logs tried to think of an excuse if the 'big scary man' came out but fortunately he wasn't to be seen.
Not a bad drive out here in the rain, good thing I have a 4wd or I would have bottomed out in a few of those potholes, oh and there are a few rivers running down the road too! Lachlan couldnt resist taking the watch, swaped with a kite. TFTF
Pulled up and found the cache easily then when I got back into the ute a car pulls up and the man driver asks me what I am doing.
Quick think and said turning around which seemed to satisfy him.
Interesting spot.
Thanks FLANGE_1&TRIBE

What an interesting place.
I tried to nick some slate but I think the person in the house figured out what I was doing [:0] He gave me a look that I reckon he gives to people like me quite frequently

Found this cache relatively easily on a wonderful Sunday Drive. Never realised this road went so far in - thought it stopped not far up!! Thanks again for another great spot for a cache.
Took torch and left Bad Andy travel bug to get a few more out to this part of the woods.
