Logs
On the island for two weeks visiting our son & his GF. So we all went out yesterday to find a few - yes, once you find the right road it's quite easy. But the numbers are fading fast...
Good one, Thanks!

iJosh and I had no intention of caching today, this nice Labor Day holiday, but here we were. We woke up with absolutely nothing to do and after a light lunch we got into our walking gear and decided to get a good workout in up in the Nimitz Hill area. We found the road alright...but there's a GATE! *argh* We decide to just park it and burn some calories (FYI according to Carmen, our GPS, the distance from the gate to the cache was .5 miles, pieceAcakePIECEaPIE, right?). And today of all days the sun was relentless!! FU-UN! We wanted a workout, right?! ha!
Because we hadn't cached in a LOOOOOONG time, I hadn't loaded the coords for the two other caches in the area that we hadn't found. So we def have to come back this way another day and get Its UP To You and Hill Side View.
Anyways we already knew what we were looking for when we approach GZ, so josh had it in his hands in a matter of seconds...then looks to me and says "I bet you left the pen in the car." What does this foo' take me for? a beginner? Haha!
He's too busy playing with something that caught his eye, and I'd already signed the log and gave it back to him to replace. We were outta there lickety split! On the way back to the car...we just laughed at ourselves because we realized that we just walked a MILE to get to a cache. Been awhile since we said we'd done THAT!
as always thanks for the cache...and by cache I do mean "adventure"

Found it!
was out w/ my daddy rhodesisland and a new cacher and friend, EDrocks, when my dad said, "so this cache is called thirty-four, so this must be like number 34--"
and i cut him off saying where i thought it was and went straight to the cache.

Drove right up to it and figured it out right away. Good thing I didn't follow my GPS it kept putting me off by about 100 feet. TFTC SL

Found the correct road this morning and immediately understood where the cache was hidden as we were driving up. Opened up the cache and found a brand-new blank log! Woohoo! FTF with Wandahfoh! TFTC-SL TNLN
