I was sitting in the Aquatic Club the night before, and on the TV news they spoke about the date of the opening of the bridge. I thought this was a good omen, as I obviously didn't need to locate the plaque. But although the date was right, I couldn't find the cache.
Out jogging about town this morning looking for a couple of caches.
Did my calculations and headed to GZ - sniffed around for a bit, but didn't find it. A canoesit was drifting by fishing, so I continued on my jog.

My eagle eyes spotted the information at wp1 on a drive-by, and so I could quickly grab the cache on the way out of Taree, at the end of my caching holiday.
Thanks for the multi. I have to find some more multi-caches to regain my Multi/Unknown cache balance I disrupted this week.

Tftc last time I we want to find it was so off just be careful looking around as there is some drug users stuff here under the bridge near the water don't go there as it is not there
Assisted by the eagle-eye of Mrknexpert. Higher than the lower steps. Lower than the higher steps. Tftc.
Found during an early morning mountain bike assault an the Taree riverside caches. This one took a bit longer than it should have as a fundemental mathematical error initially had the cache in the middle of the river and upstream of the bridge. A quick pedal back across the bridge confirmed that I had the right date and a re-calculation soon had me near GZ. Still took a while to locate the well-hidden cache as I didn't know at first how many sets of stairs I was meant to decend. Nevertheless I finally had the CIH and left a [green] Patricks T-Rex Harvester TB [/green] which I have had with me for a few weeks. All good at GZ. Many thanks Red Ninja!
Found on a Caching day with Vaggfam and Tazza04 way home from dropping kids off to their mum at Buladelah.

It would be interesting to work out how many times I have been past the cache GZ as a 'muggle'. While it now seems like a while since I first worked out where the cache could / should be. Well protected where it is, and hopefully it won't be tested out for a long time.
TNLNSL, TFTC Red Ninja, I think that was the closest one to home base - GREAT

Cache is back online. Please take care when putting it back to keep it well hidden.
DNF... I was in the right spot. (At the bottom of the stairs) but the GPS was all over the place, so no-go today. Will have another crack in the next few weeks. Thanks.
I did a cache check today and was surprised to find the container dry despite 2 major floods this year. I removed some of the leaf litter to make it a bit easier to find.
Amazed that this cache survived the recent floods. GPS co ordinate a are spot on. TFTC.
Hi Red Ninja.
I have been back down there after the flooding, and agree that for that Terrain rating the cache MUST have been UNDERWATER.
Could you please check on it, as I can't find it.

While out getting some caches with Craig & Grace, we got WP1 for this, but it was too far for the kids and lunch was close. Then after lunch we decided to drive out to the beach, so we opted to go this way so we could go to GZ for make the find. Parked and walked back down to the water. Searched around and then I made the find. Kids swapped some stuff while we SL. Reaplced. Thanx for a nice multi RN, TFTC.

We did not march the bridge, but rather took the car across.
The log is a bit damp and could do with some drying out.

We have found a nice little spot at the Coopernook Hotel to park the caravan and go off caching. We got away early today and headed into Taree. Some very tricky finds had us going, this was one we were able to find. Always good to find the final in a multi cache.
Thanks to Red Ninja.
Thanks to Red Ninja.
We drive to taree with my good friend for 3 days from Central Coast... We find caches all the way...
We don't normally do multis but this looked like one we could achieve.
After working out the new co-ords, we found Gz & in a few minutes the cache was located.
Took Tb
Thanks Red Ninja

Hi all just wondering if the owner or the finder could check to see if my TB Priscilla is still there as it hasn't moved for quite some time Thanks
Mmmm tough one. No luck this time. Got the clues right, in the right location but no find.In the company of iLocate and The Pheebster
I did a cache check today and dropped off a TB that didn't fit in another cache. Log was a little damp so I dried it out but will need a new bag.
Found the date as I slowed down heading east away from town, just, so I didn't have to march the martin[^] That saved a bit of legwork but not recommended if vehicles are following you though. Parked closer to GZ and had to make a few adjustments to my workings before I could snare this one.
My log is more of a scratching as the log is soaked and I was in work clothes with no geogear, sorry.
thanks Red Ninja

We found this one while on a weekend of caching around the Taree areas. We parked near the bridge and found the plaque to get the required information. Then we did the calculations and had the final co-ordinates and headed off to locate the cache. We went back over the bridge and parked quite close to GZ. Located the cache fairly quickly - the log is very damp which is understandable given all the recent flooding around here. Took the Aquarius GC [rather an appropriate coin to have in such a waterlogged area!] and signed the log. TFTC
Checked the cache today after the recent flood. Cache was still there but very wet. I dried it out and put back.
I called in today for a cache check up and all is well and it has a geocoin inside for the next visitor.
This was a great little multi. Walked from Midlands motel where I was staying. Enjoyable walk. Bridge rattles quite a bit when the trucks go over. I spent a little while looking as I read into the hint a bit more than required. I should've trusted my GPSr as the coords were spot on. Took TB left GC. TFTC.
Thanks red ninja. we did the first part of this multi a few months ago, but had to cut short when geo-kid was bitten by a spider or something. We just went back today and found the well-concealed cache within a few minutes.
After lunching nearby yesterday with a fishburger by the river this was the closest unfound. Hadn't looked at the details so got to GZ to decide with the name and what was there it must be a multi. Took a photo of the plaque as that seemed the likely culprit. Then checked out the details back at temporary home base Diamond Beach last night to work it out. This morning drove in and found the way in to GZ.
Parked just over the road and there it was (not sure why someone has run a long length of coax cable down the road but anyway). Just had to wait for one pram walking muggle to go past and the prize was ours. Thanks Red Ninja.

Beautiful fishing spot. There were a couple of muggles fishing but they took no notice of us. TFTC
I 'did' this multi a few months ago when I became the unfortunate discoverer that it had been muggled Visiting the Grandparents in town again I was excited to see it back online and I could knock off an old DNF! Yay! Repeated my steps from last time, only this time ended up with a grab Cheers from Sydney Red Ninja, thanks for getting it back online.

Found at 10.50am GAFF1. This is the final cache for us in this whole area - hope some more are placed so that we can visit again!
A lovely morning, clear sky and the sun was sparkling on the still river.
Thanks Red Ninja.

The final waypoint is in a new location, perhaps a little exposed but if each cacher hides it again it should last. (hopefully)
Expect this cache to up again in the next week or so, I have picked a new spot and I'm getting a cache together.
I called by to check the cache today and yes, it is all gone. *shakes fist* It seems that the concrete that was hiding it would make a better bridge to the pylon for some kids to jump off. I searched everywhere for the cache with no luck. I found the tattoo zip lock and a lipstick case. This cache will probably be offline for some time until I can find a better place to hide.
I could be wrong but Im pretty sure its been muggled. Got the co-ords to hit the GZ. I used the hint and I found a very likely hidey hole but it was empty. Outside it was a zip lock bag which had "Tatoo's, Cachers please take 1 each" written on it plus a packet from a likely swap toy.... No coin, no container. Hope Im wrong but I think its gone

The cache is in a slightly different position now after reports of water getting into the cache, it is now under the bridge a bit further. Final co-ordinates should still be very close.
Found this one with ALCAN 4x4 while in the area.My first multi lucky it was an easy one with a bit of history to go with it.

Really easy find. We were lucky as just as we got back in the car after returning the cache to its hiding spot, a school bus pulled up and a heap of muggle children got off!! Took the geocoin and 2 tattoos, left a medal and 3 pirate coins. Will be travelling north in a couple of weeks, so will drop the geocoin in a cache up there. Thanx
Went to look for this one last night after Scouts.
Dad had to drive across the bridge as they were doing some night works and didn't want pedestrian access.
Soon found the slightly damp cache (log book OK though) and Took a Mr Men and Rockin Roddy Geocoin and left a bottle opener
Thanks for the great hide Red Ninja.

Nice one, fun search for the boyz. Cache had leaked water, so we dried it up, probably could do with a slightly more water tight container, but good little spot. TFTC

Finally pulled up to complete this cache. I'd previosly stopped by and got stage 1 but time never permitted the "March".
I strode out with Geoson today, who was delighted to pick up a toy "Hummer" and a tattoo. We swapped them for a compact and a car.
TFTC RN we both really enjoyed it

The hint didn't make any sense as I could see the cache before the word. Anyway nice cache.
Lovely old bridge. Solved the puzzle quickly and after a quick search had the cache in hand. TNLN.

Found at 8.00am. Great multi and easy on a Sunday morning. Needed a bit of muscle from husband to locate. Great hide. TFTC
I looked for ever where the GPS took me. The co-ords were going everywhere. looked at 2 places where the hint would be and other places and still couldn't find it.
Found on a saturday afternoon with dad. Never been underneath the martin bridge before. Could see workers working underneath the bridge. Nice spot for the cache. No muggles. Took a while to find. Awesome cache.

1630 - Yeah, FTF. With young Fang Shaw. Had come along last night, but with only a moblie phone for light wasn't successful (apart from the wrong coord anyway). Good spot.
Left: Pencil / Sharpener, Jeans for Genes tags, and a What is Geocaching info card.
Brought through the following on their way to the CITO Event cache tomorrow. Will have to see if there are any others that can drop in after that.
