That's the end of Thar she blows.
Looks like the last few cachers have had trouble with bees so I' archiving this one.
Wonder how all the people picnicking get on with all those bees.
Cache was in position.

Nope! We've been "mister clyderised" once again and have come away empty-handed (well almost). We should have taken notice of Paul the Hippies entry more carefully. And so, just for the record, it is now:
caches = 0
dead bees = 2
caches = 0
dead bees = 2
The coords led me back continually to the same tree and table but with no clue added was really a waste of time. Or maybe I am just grumpy as I caused a bee to die. It hurt.
In spite of four children clearing a path we could not find this cache. We had the place to our selves and allowed heaps of time. I am wondering if it has been muggled?
No sign ofanything any where and had a prolonged look at a very quiet time of day. Is this cache still intact?
A reluctant DNF for us. Beautiful time of day down here, had the place to ourselves but we couldn't find it
With about 2000 people here, we didn't have a chance to search. But we did have a chance to have a swim and some lunch. Top spot even if we didn't find anything .
Visiting from the UK with my brother, couldn't get near this one yesterday, quick find today, thanks for the hide.
A very quick find by Geo-daughter. Another perfect afternoon at Frenchies! TFTC

One that got us We arrived at GZ nice and early and had the place to ourselves. Had a group of Geo-Joeys friends with us and still we couldn't locate it. one of his friends had found it before, however with some hints we still couldn't locate it . Will have another attempt soon.

Nearly came to grief with this one. We couldn't extract the cache container and in our efforts to loosen it we lost it so embarked on a second hunt. All returned to its rightful placement now. Thanx for the cache it is a magical spot.
5.30pm on a Sunday afternoon and most people had already left for home..It was nice and peaceful and we enjoyed the views as well as the history of the area. Found the cache without too much trouble and loved the cammo mister clyde. TFTC
checking out the waymark, decided to look if there was a local gc, bingo, found by mark after all family flogging around looking for camo. geowife picked up a tick! lol.
As we approached we reckoned our chances with this one were zilch as it was muggle central but would you believe the appropriate picnic table was free so we claimed possession and soon had the goods in hand.
Thanks mister clyde
Thanks mister clyde
We had trouble searching for this one the last time we were here due to a very high number of muggles but not today. We had plenty of time to search and we needed it as this was a bit tricky. Finally picked up the right object and bingo. Signed the log. TFTH

Return visit with three young geocaching newbies. Everything is in order and looks good - one of our favourite camos, and a lovely spot!
After searching for around half hour cache was finally found. Mind you we did have a search party of 8 ! Very well hidden. TFTC
It is always annoying not to find a cache but even more when there logs that say an easy find, arghhhh. The condition were against us, there was heavy cloud cover, the GPSr kept pointing the same spot, over and over again. Except for taking to the spot with an excavator, we could not find it. We must have been in the wrong spot, but the description and logs seemed to prove our area right. Will watch for any further logs...
This cache certainly does blend in with the environment. Even while it was raining some muggles launched their boat nearby....somehow I doubt they would be after whales today, unlike muggles from years gone by. A great hide. TFTC mister clyde [^]
Found at 1.10pm GAFF1. What a fascinating story! Northern people whaling down here? And we must say that the cement that they used was especially resistant to salt water!
There was no one around while we were searching and still we struggled to find a micro. And then the light was switched on and it was one of those disguised micros.
Well done mister_clyde.

Well done mister_clyde.
Unfortunately we had no snorkeling gear or food to bbq so we had to content ourselves with taking in the scenery and finding another cache. We searched 3 or 4 places before the well hidden cache was discovered
Thanks mister_clyde for the cache and for some history of the area

Found by Mrs Felix although we were worried when we arrived to see lawnmower men & backpacker mugglesnear to GZ. TFTC Mister Clyde
Almost didn't find it my dog started to walk off with it great cache and a wonderful beach. thank you Mister Clyde
This one threw us for a while as we were on the wrong track with the listed cache size. 10 minutes in duncdonut had the cache in hand. TFTC
We took a punt that on a cooler Saturday afternoon there would not be many muggles around. We were wrong! There were two who had parked their car right opposite where we wanted to look, so after wandering around for a bit we had to let it go. One for our next visit to Albany!
Nice overcast day.Only a few muggles which was a good thing as we would have looked rather strange foraging around for this well hidden cache.
Great hide and we had no problems even with lots of muggles about. We were very sneaky. TFTH
We were lucky today as the mothers group enjoying the day were at the other end of the beach. This meant that we could search in peace. I am glad that Geoson was here today as he made a find that I don't think I would have

I have had to go for this one three times a very busy location thanks mister clyde it's good to have one of your's under my belt.
Saw the container within the first 5 minutes, ignored it, searched for another 20 minutes came back took a closer look and yay, there it was. SL TFTC
We literally parked right next to this one, but it took us quite some time to find it. Great camo! Lucky there was only 1 muggle bikie and he left quickly. Celebrated the find with a cuppa and enjoyed the views. A great beach.

It was a beautiful Monday morning, and surprisingly the Frenchman Bay Picnic Area was virtually deserted, and muggle free. The Canucks had taken on the quest for this cache on another occasion, but their motor-vehicle GPSr had been unable to send them on track to find this little micro cache. Today, armed with a relatively new handheld GPSr, things would be different! Or would they? The Canucks hunted, and hunted, but with little reward! There are SO MANY potential hiding places near GZ! We moved rocks, we tugged on bricks, we examined trees. And then we did it all over again. We rechecked our bearings, and tried yet again. And then suddenly, by accident virtually, almost as a fluke, Mrs Canuck found it! Hurray! We did have a tough time getting a consistent GPSr reading, but even so, the final location was about 10m closer to the boat ramp than where we'd concentrated our efforts. But what a beauty camo this one is, one of the better ones we've seen! It's somewhat surprising that it hasn't been muggled, or `terminated' by a well meaning clean-up crew! At any rate, we're pleased to report that the cache is safe and sound, in excellent condition, awaiting its next finder! Nice spot for a BBQ lunch if ever you're here BTW. While in the area, we also created our "Liquid Gold" cache, the next in our "Beautiful Albany's Heritage Penny Collection" series, check it out at GCA - http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga2661 Thanks again for a wonderful cache!

Very clever....needed a little hint from Albany Getaway....couldnt keep the kids out of the water again!! I really need to have a towel left in my car!! Thank you
No muggles in this area today, so we had a quick and easy find. We liked how well this cache was camouflaged. This is a really nice beach, but normally when we go there, it is really busy. TFTC
12:00 A simple drive by cache that (unusually) didn't drive me nuts on a beautiful day with not a soul in sight. Thanks for the history - and cache. What a beautiful beach - pity that it was the site of so much blood and gore. Hard to imagine really
Cheers, GC

Its taken a couple of visits to find this clever camo...
This time we brought along a couple of extra junior Nomads.
The weather was a bit dismal so there was no Mugglers that gave us a better opportunity to find

Yes, a cold blowy day kept most of the muggles away today. We did think a car leaving had a passenger with a GPS in her hand but we had peace to find it and sign the log. TFTC
A wet and windy day was ideal for this hunt, because virtually nobody was around. I've always wondered what the ruins were from, so kudos to this cache for teaching us some local history about a Norwegian whaling station that we didn't know about. Unfortunately the portable GPS from our car decided to play havoc with us while on site, and couldn't even give us an approximate location for GZ with any consistency, so we had no idea where to even begin looking. The Canucks will be back some other day!

We forgot to log this cache way back in July when we found it with nerinonickers. (it is now January). We loved this cache and the amount of time it took to find it is embarrassing. Nerinonickers and ourselves still laugh at what lengths we go to to find a cache.....middle of the night with bad torches!!!!!
Went out to this one the night before with GeoDaughter and GeoSister from Stus*Crew to avoid muggles....Spent an hour searching by torch light under the veil of eeriness......Went back and found it with in two minutes...Go figure.....Signed it....Go the Dockers!
What can I say We have been to this site 3 or 4 times, only to be frustrated by muggles or just not being able to find it. Today, it was almost a drive by. Nice hide. TFTC
Armed with the good fortune we found here we set off to conquer a couple of others we have been struggling with.

Found by the Legends Patrol after a frustrating 5 or 10 mins.
We knew we were right on top of it but couldn't find.
Then Ryan and Alex decided to have a "Mummy" look,
Ha Presto!

Was a good one and had a bit of trouble when gps. put me about 10mts. off but after 5 mins. it came good and found it quite quickly. Some times it all comes together. Good one . Thanks
Perth 10.22. No one down in the BBQ area today. Took me ages to get to the right spot. No whales today. Thanks.

Thanks again Mr Clyde. We tried to get to this one for days while we were staying nearby and there were always muggles too close for an attempt. Finally had a shot and we all fluffed around like chooks. Eventually had prize in hand. Well done on a good hide. Cheers
What a great hide in a gorgeous spot of Albany. Visited here many times without realising something was hidden

Arrived at carpark thinking we were in luck as there was only one car, but to our disappointment there were young travellers using the immdeiate area where cach wouyld be... we enjoyed our lunch in the shaded area of a nice table but it looked like these young ones were in for the long haul.. Will hopefully return to this one before leaving in a few days,..
Cheers, we wont be beaten..

Have been having trouble getting on to this one as every time I have been here there have been people parked up and using the immediate area. Finally got here at a time when there was not another soul around. Got down to business and found it after a bit of a search.
Thanks

A clever hide, after hunting high and low it was easily found and then re hidden so son no2 could try out his new GPS it was areal laugh when he was right on top of it and couldn't see it. SL TFTH
great camo, didnt know about the history in this area and i have lived here all my life. great beach, make sure you remember your swimming gear when you do this cache. no muggles in site when we located the cache as it was early and lucky too because it would be impossible to locate unnoticed during muggle peak periods tftc
Find # 9 at 12.30 with robot 1 aka the_robots on our caching journey to Albany that was 2 days, 41 caches (38 GC & 3 GCA) and 1140km in the making.
We had finally made it into Albany, stopped to recharge the batteries with a bit to eat then we were off again. A quick and easy find once the muggles were not looking.

Great camo job! Quickly found. Spent much time here two years ago on holiday nearby.
This was find #9 of 41 finds in our 36 hour, 1140km road trip by Shael6636 and Robot1 to Albany and back. Thanks for helping us to have a reason to go on a weekend south west caching expedition.

Probably a sunday is not the best time to do this cache however we were lucky nobody was sitting at the nearby picnic table so we took up occupation and had lunch there as well as being able to look for the cache. And looking and more looking it took before we spotted something and did more investigating. In our defence it has been a while since anyone has done the cache so a lot of seaweed had blown up. Lovely work and good to finally get a smiley for this one. thanks mister_clyde
Stopped for a cuppa at this nice spot as it was protected from the wind, didn't take the kids long to find this one.
TFTF Good one to find when the weather is not the best as there are not many muggles around.
Ok, this one took us two goes too, but found it eventually. No muggels in sight on a windy, rainy and cold afternoon. All is still fine, despite the new construction nearby.
Thanks for the fun

No muggles there this afternoon. Nevertheless it took us (walleby and me) quite a time to locate the cache.
The branch holding the cache is broken and lies on the ground (still near GZ).
Don't know whether vandalized or brought down by the recent stormy weather.
Anyway, the cache needs some maintainance.

a fairly quick find after the geo mrs tried to beat the cache to death with her caching pole.
some new construction nearby could be reason to consider a new spot in the near future.

Very tricky! We too stopped for a cuppa before getting back into it and eventually with a phone call to dad we got it! No muggles to get in our way.
You look but you can not see except when you try to get a hand hold while looking!
There were no muggles around so we thought it would be a quick find. Wrong!! Decided to have a cup of tea and a think, which proved a master stroke for the newcomer who found it.
Finally we got the find fourth try due to those pesky muggles. But was worth the wait nicely camoflarged had geowife stumped. One of the many cache sites i am privledged to mow for my job with the city will keep a close eye on this one.
We got a late start and this was our first find for the day at 7:25am. Found it quickly - maybe we're starting to get used to the ingenuity of the local cache-setters. Great cache. Thanks.
When we arrived at gz, we found Tangowithcupcake having lunch at a nearby pinic table. They had already found the cache, so they sat there smirking as I stumbled around trying to get a fix on the gps, but I eventually found the little sucker. Thanks Mr Clyde
Mister_Clyde, you are a thoroughly mean and nasty type - we would say ideally suited to a job as a torturer.
But you have set a damn fine cache with a good touch of history - well done. Tango takes back all those negative things he muttered about you as he wandered round like a headless chook. The humiliation of being beaten to the find not only by Cupcake but also by a 4 year old and a 6 year old may take a little longer to get over.

On my second attempt and nearly ready to give up for another day when the support crew found it. Very clever and sneaky. TFTH
