Thanks for putting a cache in this historic tiny cemetery. Found with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area.

Certainly an interesting spot for a cemetery, cache was a nice quick find, log signed and replaced as found.Container is in a bit of a rough state, but still intact, log still nice and dry.Greetings from MelbourneTftc

De afstand van onze verblijfplaats tot aan deze cache is niet zo groot en deze ochtend wandelde ik er naar toe. Voor het zoeken had ik me laten misleiden. Een nano, het aanwezige metaal .... tenslotte keek ik dan toch op de juiste plek. Mijn log plaatste ik om 8u13. TFTC. De cache kan wel wat onderhoud gebruiken. Ik plaats een "Needs maintenance " log.(Translation later.)

On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches.Today we ware on the way to and in Alice Springs and we did a few nice caches.CO thanks for bringing us on this nice place and make this cache.

Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case tttedzeins, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.

Found the cache. Unfortunately someone has found the cache and discarded it 3 m away from GZ. We replaced it back in its hidy hole. Still in ok condition. TFTC

A quick find at the named gentleman's resting place. We were lucky enough to see some gorgeous parrots on the way out the gate too. Tftc!

A little walk across town & train tracks, through an interesting park with faded signs & camels, all to get a QEF here. Lovely. TNLN-TFTC! I'm enjoying 'Ann Summers' (you had to be there).

Yes the first in a cimetery.

Somehow geocaching always leads us to cemeteries. This one has a very interesting history. Thanks for bringing us here.

This was an interesting little spot to visit. Cache doesn't quite match the hint anymore but we made a quick find anyway. Tftc

Quick find at the corner. Back home these containers are hopeless but in this climate all nice and dry.

On a stop off from the Ghan so nice to get a cache in before we get back on-board to continue the journey.

Gets a FP from us for a historical site we would not have known about were there not a cache here.

Visiting from Wisconsin, USA. I had a couple hours before I could check in to my hotel, so I decided to wander about Alice Springs. Thanks for taking me to a quiet little cemetery…and for the easy smilie I earned while I was there.

Took awhile to find as what not in the correct position.
Papers are a little weather damaged.

perfect data and indices. It took a little time, the box was warm under the abundant leaves. I added a big flat stone and the box is underneath.

This item is apparently underneath\next to Mr Kadow grave. But we didn't find it so it might have been moved.

Sadly found Mr Kadow from the Ghan but no cache.

Continuing our trip from Melbourne to Darwin and back, we are now on our way back home and spending a few days at Alice Springs to see the things we missed on the way up. Today we are visiting the Telegraph Station and the National Transport Museum.
On our way back to camp with time for one more cache, nice spot.
Also a chance for MuggleWifeDoes to photograph The Ghan whilst it was parked nearby.

Nice spot to find in amongst all the industry. We are in Alice to get the car fixed. I went for a walk to explore while waiting to hear the damage report and found this cache. Sadly in the mess of mechanic issues I neglected to pack a pen. TFTC

Staying in Alice prings for a few days and had to get fuel this morning and on the way back to the accommodation noted that this cache was on the way back so made the small detour. Parked an wandered to where the GPS said GZ was and commenced searching but was not finding anything. Read the hint and soon found the location and then the cache a few metres from the initial search. Signed the log and then replaced all as found.
