Had to do a bit of searching but found it and picked up trackable Kelvin the Geotrack Koala thanks dead reckoning for this cache
I woke up at 6am to be able to head out to the wind farm to watch the sunrise with my partner @jamesknowlson. While watching the sunrise we got out the geocaching app and saw that there were loads of caches to be found today that we have seen on our maps and never found loads of times.
First we found the caches near the wind farm look outs and the shelter and then we headed back to the car to drive to the caches out at the further away wind turbines. The first struggle was our car needed to be driven through a massive puddle to continue on but luckily James’ Navara did the trick.
Found these caches at the wind farm all quite quickly then we headed out to the gap/ natural bridge and cable beach to find the caches there. These were also quick easy finds.
Thank you for the hunt and adventure. TFTC dead_reckoning

Last day of school holidays before the next 16 weeks are filled with tests and exams. I’m sure this will be one of few days I manage to cache in the next 16 weeks too. With soccer training later this afternoon, wanted to leave enough time to enjoy some quality geocaching time. Picked up jasmine Stephensen at 6:30am and set off to the wind farm before heading toward the gap/natural bridge.
Great drive among these Giants. In searching for the cache I was about to give on when I spotted it! Yes success. Three trackable I find inside was too cool not too take with me.
I came, I saw, I signed the log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Cache is in good condition.

Out with iluvtrekking to grab a few finds in this area. We had packed the bikes thinking that would be best way to tackle the track but we were delighted to find a gravel car track all the way to gz. Replaced the broken container with new log sheet and container (base of small shrub). Thanks dead_reckoning

Drive the track to GZ with richlink, did a little cache maintenance and followed the track back again. Thanks for the cache dead_rekoning.
GPS jumping around. In bush more than we thought. Log book saturated so could not sign.
Found it but don't go by the description. There is no camp site, no hut... nothing. Windmills have taken over this area. Container is broken and full of water too so log book is ruined.
Staying in Albany for a few days, we had completed the A series & then cached our way back into town... This was another find on our way & was found after a brief search

Found with The X-Trailers as we worked our way along the coast. Some we walked along the trail and others like this we drove along the road near the turbines. TFTC
Was out visiting this stretch of coastline that I had never explored before, and enjoying it thoroughly too. My companion of the day, ~Tango~ was once again the host with the most, and despite his recent withdrawal from the game, he was more than happy to enjoy the day of visiting old haunts and showing off his backyard so to speak. The cache needed a bit of TLC, but all good again now. Thanks for the smiley and the reason to come out here and experience this amazing coastline dead_reckoning
TFTC! Had a grand weekend away with Cravo10, mugglewife and ItsKate visiting Albany and just about everywhere in between.
We left Perth on Friday travelling via every known backroad and side road known to the maps and maybe even a few not quite so known! Managed to grab a bunch of caches between Perth and Albany on the western side of the highway including a FTF at Boscabel, yeah Boscawhere?? Never heard of it either.
Got into Albany significantly later than we otherwise should have, but managed to get up early the following day to grab a bunch of caches around frenchmans bay, sand patch near the windfarm and further down towards Nullaki and finally around to Denmark.
Got the car nice and dirty on the back roads near the windfarm much to the delight of mugglewife!! NOT!!
Unfortunately the weather didn't work in our favour as we had planned a trip out to bold head to cleanup all out there followed by some kayaking to pickup the Camp Q adventure trail caches but the stars weren't aligned properly for that. But there's always next trip!!
We got up early the following day and grabbed a few caches around town before heading on the road back to Perth, not just Albany highway but every road east of the highway along all the back routes through cranbrook, tambellup, Katanning, Narrogin, high bury and finally back through Willian's with some side detours on the way!!
Had a great weekend and even managed to sneak in a visit with the inlaws who were more than accomodating. Thanks to all of the COs for the caches and we can't wait to come back soon. Thanks

After recently returning back to Perth after my stay was cut short in Albany by a year it was finally time to return. Catching up with old friends, cache maintenance, FTF opportunities And more green dots to convert to smiles lead to a great reason to head back down the highway.
barnzy12 and I had both been planning trips back to Albany and soon realised we had picked the same weekend.(well that's they story the partners are getting)
The drive down was not the quickest due to the intense deviation needed to clear the map however very enjoyable never the less.
All caches were found and replaced in good condition. Thanks to the CO's for bringing me to the great locations that I got to see and drive past.
Happy hunting, Cravo10

Finally found it!! Sat there in the bush for a few minutes feeling confused then looked around and it was sneakily staring me in the face. Good simple camo TFTC
Took a bit of patience but ajjnr86 soon found it! Was a quick sign and return.
Was a hard search as we were getting carried away but March flies, soon had the cache found and signed
Basically there are two ways to do this cache. If you are coming from "Low Range Playground", just follow Prescottvale Rd....much shorter!! But be warned, it may challenge your 4wd skills to get there. It was a great drive across the tracks, and one I will do again with some novice drivers.
The easy way is the Sand Patch access rd through the turbines. You can drive to within about 20m.
Easy find in the end. TFTC

We found it while on a hike with some Scouts, no sign of the hut, new log book is needed.TFTH
A long, but great hike out to this one from the car park at the turbines. Looked hard for about half an hour and no find.
The description of this cache needs updating, particularly for those who are not familiar with the tracks. Take the gravel service road, park at Turbine 'Grasmere WTG 02'. Walk back down the gravel road (East) approx. 50 metres. On the RHS you will see an embankment. Go down, and you will be on the old section of the Bibbulmun track. Follow this to the cache. Much easier and safer than trying to find your way through the undergrowth. TFTC
Was walking along the Bibb Track from Sandpatch carpark to Torbay with the kids & adults from the Family Bushwalking Club. We stopped on the new alignment of the track some 350m from the cache. Hearing that it was near the old hut site a couple from the group who'd walked the previous alignment wanted to see what the hut site now looks like. So, with the stragglers in the group not showing any signs of turning up, we headed off. One wrong turn & it was off up to the nearby turbine to get back on to well made roads. They never did definitively find the old site, but we found the cache. Back to the group on onward to Muttonbird Hut. Thanks dead reckoning for the hide.
Started off at the Windfarm carpark then along the Bibbulmun Track and managed to disturb a snake just off the board walk. Waited until he had disappeared before carrying on.
Noticed I had gone beyond where the cache was hidden as I hadnt taken any tracks off the main track and was more than 500 meters from it when I noticed. Backtracked until I came upon a verve energy clearing so too that. Was quite a steep path and closest I got was 120m. Back along the track until I came upon another then popped out on the gravel service road which took me right up to the cache. Co-ords pretty much spot on and made a quick find on the damp log.
Took the service road back to turbine 3 and down the track behind it which led me to the boardwalk section. No snake this time....
Thanks for the cache dead reckoning.

Found it after some scrummaging in the bush. No hut here anymore as the Bibbulmun Track has since been diverted, moved closer to the ocean, a more scenic option for walkers.
Found it with our geokids the log is wet so my pencil didn't write very well might need to be replaced. TFTF
Nice easy one for us, didn't take anything as the container was quite wet maybe time for a new container here
Drove to within 10 metres of the cache using the road that takes you past all the windmills and to the 4WD track that takes you to Muttonbird Beach.
The log is a little damp so hopefully it can dry during the summer months. TFTC

Nice view of the harbour from here. The Bibbulmun track has undergone major re-routing in this area, so this cache is now quite tricky to find, because it first requires locating the old (unused) track, although taking the gravel track beside the windmills should provide the easiest and most direct route. Maybe some waypoints should be added to assist walkers finding this via the Bibbulmun? Note also that there is no longer a hut in the immediate vicinity of this cache, so the cache description needs revision too. TFTC.
We enjoyed the coastal walk out on a pleasant afternoon to get to this one. It was obviously a lot better before the latest wind turbines were put in as the new road has decimated the old track so we needed to do a bit of backtracking to find it. Still a good walk though. TFTF
Found this one with two exhausted geogirls in tow after we walked from tower 10. The new road had us stumped for a while, but persistence and a bit of bush bashing set us right.
Beautiful and unexpected view. Swapped some toys. Signed the log with a very blunt blue pencil having lost my pen somewhere on the track.

Out on hike with geodaughters girl guide group first to get it this year but bibbulmun has be re-routed and doesn't go past at the moment makes it all a bit harder TFTC
Found it! with family bush walking club we walked into bib track hut and found it with friends have to get to it via the new turbines road. Great view of turbines. The Hidden Valley hut might be noisier in the future with the new turbines so close. Also the last few kilometres in to the hut from Torbay are along an appalling sandy 4WD track. There is promise of a new alignment along the coast AFTER the new turbines have gone in. Why not do them before or now so that we don't have to suffer this track! Verve (Energy) have got a nerve! TFTC. Beutiful location and a fun find. We managed to watch the Australia Day fireworks the night before from this spot.
Found with 6maccas and reinforcements. Forgot the pen so unable to sign the log. Hut was empty and some negotiating around construction of the new road is necessary. TFTC
Found with the Whalewatchers after Turbine Ten. Hut was deserted and the water in the tank was nice.

We went for a 4wd today to find this cache, the second for the day. Great spot and a really nice walk, especially with all the wild flowers out. Went and checked out the hut, no one in sight. TFTC
Walked in from the wind farm on a beautiful day. Dropped into the shelter for a drink of water and found it absolutely chockers with people. Luckily there were qite a few tents because there was no way that many people would fit in the shelter to sleep.
An easy find in the the new spot. Removed the black plastic bag that someone had put round the cache - the bag was full of water and the cache had got quite damp. Dried as best we could.
Forgot our pen so stuck a postage stamp in the log - with a big love heart because we love this coastal walk. Thanks for bringing us back

We drove with the 4wd to as close as we could find and then went by foot along the track. Disturbed a brown snake sleeping on the track - I'm not sure who got the biggest fright and we passed with a hop, skip and a jump. Cache found without any problem - coords spot on. Thanks dead_reckoning
Team Caching at it's best once again. Went out today with CRUZNOZ, Team Scally Wag, Thw Wild Gang and The Rhyan Clan. First to spot today was CRUZNOZ after Mr Rhyan just missed it. No one came up with out a scratch lol.
Shame it was so small but a great spot for a huge one. Offering to replace it with a bigger one if the owner would like us too.
Anyway great to put it at rest before we leave Albany. TFTC

After my last dismal attempt at finding this cache I had another go today, along with the Rhyan clan, and made an easy find. Why was it so hard before? Oh well, we got there in the end.
Found it today after not being able to find the first time round. The coords were out but due to another cacher moving it closer to coords it made it easier for us to find. Wild fire signs up everywhere warning the dangers in the area but we had not problems.

Last time we were at this hut we were setting up camp for the night at the end of three day stint on the track! This time aided by the aging land rover we enjoyed a quick stroll to the lookout and after a good 20 minutes Mrs Cameron made the find making it two from two for the day! We could see how this cache had been missed by all those fingers and opposable thumbs, it was a case of just poking your head that tiny bit further into that particular bush!

I had no trouble finding the cache. My gps had me about 1 meter from it. Took about a minute of searching and there it was. I didn't sign the log as there is no pen in the container only a couple of candles .... and me being as organised as always had no pen on me. But rest assured the cache is there right on the coords.
Bit of a trip to get there as I tried to do it all by 4wd (got to within 180 meters)
Thanks for the cache.
Took nothing and left both candles.

Must say a bit disapointed. A beautiful spot but no cache to be found at the coords. With 7 people in our team caching effort today and 3 GPS's we all walked away empty handed and disapointed. We have been told the coords are out but with out a find we can't tell you the actual coords. Needs Maintenence fast as with all the searching the area around GZ is getting unnecessarily trampled and is very bad for hte environment and preservation of the area.

Big problems with this cache. Five teams, comprising seven cachers today spent an age searching this area and came up completely empty handed. The co-ords pointed into the middle of a prickly thicket of bush 6 metres from the path. After looking in there we widened our search and looked in the various prickly smaller bushes in a radius up to about 15 metres from the supposed GZ. No luck.
This is fragile vegetation and can't withstand people tramping around looking for a small cache without accurate co-ords. It is a great view and deserves a cache but this one needs some serious attention to accuracy and placement.

Went looking for this cache with 4 other teams. We found a track that got us to within 300 metres of GZ, so armed with 3 gps, 7 pairs of eyes, 14 legs, 56 fingers and the necessary 14 opposable thumbs we set out with total confidance that we will have this one beat in no time. How wrong we were. After a search lasting about 40 minutes none of those fingers ,toes or eyes could found the prize, so we concided defeat. Maybe this one has gone walk about on the Bibbulmun.
After an hours walk into Hidden Valley on the 2nd May and having to leave without a find, the Coasters were determined to find an easier way in and find the cache. Having got a clue from "Happy Wanderer 3", we headed off road from Prescott Vale Road and and was able to park the 4WD some 700 metres from the cache and walk along the Bibb Track back towards the Windfarm. This time less than five minutes was needed to find the cache, a satisfying result after the hour spent previously and leaving frustrated and empty handed.
After a little more exploring, we discovered it is possible to get a vehicle to about 350 metres from the lookout if you take a slashed track that has been put in place for the further possible expansion of the windfarm. This track is at S35.02.898 E117.45.378 and is approxiamately 2.9km from the bend on Prescott Vale Road. The track is reasonably firm and 4WD is only required for a few short sections.
Otherwise enjoy the bushwalk in along the track and enjoy the magnificent views that avail as the track looks out over the ocean.

Walking in to the hut was the easy bit. Thanks to the weather gods a few weeks ago the tank was full of cold water. Up to the lookout for some grand views. Then the fun began looking for the "small" cache. Albany has just had a rash of micro caches, you think this one would be easy. Not so. There is a lot of bush, very prickly, out here. Never to give up, the area was thoroughly scrutinised along both lats. and longs. Finally a very satisfying FTF. Bring your own pencil/biro, someone may be able to bring one in... make it a short one!!! Cache can hold small items only.
