Logs
A little slippery going downhill before entering the bush but I managed to stay upright. The cache was a nice quick find. After signing the log and replacing the cache I heard a noise and saw a ball rolling down towards GZ, followed by a dog. I wasn't sure how it was going to react seeing me there and wondered if it was going to start barking loudly but luckily it was a nice friendly gentle one that just wanted to be patted. The owner seemed amused to see the two of us appear out of the bushes together but didn't question what I was doing in there, TFTC
I didn't manage to find this. I found a green 2l plastic jar without a lid but I'm still not sure if I was on the right side of the clearing. Another time maybe.
A quick find once I managed to squeak past the small barberry bushes sprouting! TFTC
Couldn't find on the first go at night while it was raining. Came back at a sensible hour and found it
Found while taking a lovely lunchtime walk around these trails. I continued my trek along the ridgeline, after having already had two successful finds earlier in the day- could I make this three from three?
The weather throughout the day had been overcast, and showers were expected around the same time I was on this hill. As my GPS narrowed while approaching GZ, the heavens began to open up and the rain started falling. Fortunately, there was plenty of cover from the rain under the dense foliage of the trees around the area. I began searching while it was still raining, the tree cover doing a good job at keeping me dry. I spent a wee while searching, but to no avail. I searched around certain objects I was assuming the hint was referring to, but unfortunately I could not locate the cache. The rain soon stopped and I stepped out into the clearing, attempting to get a clear view of the sky to help my GPS narrow down its position. My GPS didn't seem to be giving me a very accurate reading, but this time it was pointing to the other side of the path. I lightly bush-bashed my way back under tree cover, now searching the side of the path opposite to where I was earlier. I successfully found the cache after about 2 minutes of searching under this side of the path. I was still unsure about what the hint was referring too, but I wasn't complaining as the cache was now in my hands.
It was great to see this cache in excellent condition- the contents, trackable and logbook where completely dry. It was also good to see a few doubles of trade items left in the cache too. I signed the log and replaced back where I found it.

Quick find which was nice cause I had spent awhile trying to find previous caches today. TFTC.
TFTC, little bit of a look but found all in good order. No 3 today. No pen so not logged in cache.
After looking in the wrong place for awhile, coords finally lead me to the right place. TFTC
Nice little spot that is well-sheltered from these increasing winds. Was very impressed by a large tree beyond. Tftc.
Took the entire family up here today for a wander. Nice sunny weather with a little breeze.
We took some Easter eggs and hot cross buns to snack on during our walk.
Teenager was the first to spot this one. Signed and returned safe n sound.

Spotted a geotrail that lead me straight to a likely hiding spot. Easy find from there. Up visiting from Dunedin.
Thanks for the cache, boxhill

Two hotwheels made for so much happiness for two mini cachers . All packed back away and back in it's hidey hole. Tftc
#1875. Today is a very unique day: 22/02/2022. It’s a Palindrome of twos.
Decided to head up to the heights of the Skyline Track with GB leader to pick up this cache called Double Happy. Most appropriate for a date like this one. And as pointed out by lumin298, (who found it on 1/1/22) GZ has two twos in each of the S and E coordinates! AND its D/T rating is 2/2!
It’s very very windy up here, but there’s a few people and dogs about. I had trouble finding the cache initially, until I changed sides of the grassy area. I still wasn’t sure I was in the right place. I sent a PAF msg to lumin298, but just as her reply arrived, I had spotted the hide. Logical really. And just in time for me to leave this windy environment and head downtown to the Deuces Wild Event.
Out: 2 Lego cowboys
In: 2 Countdown domino Remy rats
In: 2 Hot Wheel Cool-One vans
My #2 cache for the Deuces Wild souvenir.
Tftc boxhill.

Went for a walk on this beautiful Wellington evening and wasn’t expecting to hunt for a cache - so had no pen to sign logbook. Great well kept cache, thanks!
I am always happy to find a cache, but I was Double Happy to find this one when I realised what the date was today - 1/1/22, two sets of doubles It took a few minutes to find, but when I did find it, it was nice to see some swag in there (although not a lot of double ups) and the double container is perfectly dry. TFTC boxhill!!
It being an excellent winter's day for caching, Talla64 and I left Kapiti to find a few caches in this general area. This area is totally new to us and we enjoyed our walk along the tracks looking for caches. Driving up Weld Street was an interesting exercise. The cache was a quick find thanks to the hint, Thanks for placing a cache in this great area boxhill.
A new area for Flowerydaze and I which is always exciting. We approached the cache from the upper path down to where the hint object was and then relied on the GPS to corner the little blighter. Thanks for bringing us to this new area Double Happy.
Moderate find. Has a few cool trinkets and swapped a few. Recent logs helped.
Came by here a couple of weeks ago, but didn’t have a pen. Came back today and significantly extended a rip in the knee of my jeans, but no other damage TFTC
Lovely spot and a beautiful day for a walk. I signed but didn't swap anything today. Conents of cache was two christmas decorations (I think) and two lego figures.
The GPS was spot on and the general location easy to find but got a couple of gorse thorns to dig out afterwards after climbing around with three small children looking for it!
Thanks for another fantastic cache

A bit of scrambling around but we found it. Wish we'd been prepared and brought items to add but this was an impromptu search this morning while walking dog. Shouts of excitement from the team on discovery .
Great hiding spot, thanks! Bit of gorse around but still accessible with some scrambling.
It's a dnf for me after making a friend wait for a while had to give up (with a stunning view at least). Havent cracked the clue and not obvious what it applies to. Did lots of scrambling - probably way more than needed - that was fun.
Initially looking in the wrong spot. Reassesed after reading logs, and made a fairly quick find. Tftc!
Nice find. Forgot our pencil so haven’t signed the logbook. Will be back later, perhaps to exchange a few items as well. Great theme! TFTC.
Found while on a Wellington wander from Blenheim. Pretty good day. Cache dry, safe and sound. TFTC
Well hidden cache, spent a good time searching for this one but well worth it. TFTC!
Another leg stretcher, today to mark the last day of Covid level 3.
As with most of our finds in the last 2 weeks, this cache hasn't been touched for nearly 3 months so none of the usual telltale geotrails are evident. The coordinates were bang-on and the hide, (involving a bit of a scramble for me, not so much for a more nimble 5yo), is more secure than the Crown Jewels.

The day started off on the wrong foot when I arrived in Wellington from Dunedin this morning and realised that only my PC for traditionals had loaded onto my Garmin and that my phone refused to load the geocaches onto the geocaching map. oh well I still had something and followed my nose. Great views once up on the top. I wasn't too sure what the clue meant but the coordinates were spot on and I quickly located the cache. I recovered it a bit better. My day has also improved because the phone is now cooperating allowing me to do more than trads.
Taking an evening stroll along the ridge, so popped by and collected this one along the way. A quick easy find. Didn't have anything double with me to leave behind. Cache all tucked away again. TFTC.
My best friend and I want to look for it and we found it in an unexpected place it was fun
After a search of more than an hour the only thing I have 2 of is a double sunburn. No, wait - nearly broke both legs clambering over fallen trees. Can't figure it out... I'm probably still too new to the game. Will try again some time.
Found quick n easy due to good trails in the area.
Cache is in great condition.
Thanks to CO for placing and maintaining

Brillant days. Left a couple of pennies for the mini-figs to play with
This was our first Geocache with my daughter (10) and our dog and we loved it!Left begins 2 mini figures from my daughter’s collection!
Love this find! Lots of muggles around on the main pathway but we sat on the grass and no one saw us. To keep in with the theme we dropped in two trackables tftc
Good excuse for a lunchtime run up Te Ahu Mairangi. Easy, quick find. Retrieved a trackable. TFTC
An easy find but not so easy to retrieve. Left the bug in place since I can't help him in his quest. TFTC.
Couldn’t find it, although it was getting dark at the time. I will endeavour to look again soon
We walked today to the northern walkway to find at the same time some caches. thank you.
Cache still secure in its hidey hole, gps put me on the grass but after going east and having no luck I tried a little further south and came across something that matched the hint.
Was relatively hard to find with gps coordinates but got there in the end with some help
The GPS has me standing in the middle of the clearing which didn't inspire too much confidence. I quickly resorted to the hint which suggested somewhere that seemed sensible. Nothing on the first pass but after a bit of clambering the cache was found soon enough. Sufficiently out of sight of the numerous and highy annoying unleashed dogs. Everything seems in order in the cache with everything in pairs. I didn't have the foreight to bring anything to drop off/exchange so left two lots of nothing. TFTC.
Awesome morning walk up here on Easter Friday. Snazzy new container!
Dropped off double trackables. Enjoy!
Dropped off double trackables. Enjoy!
Don’t normally crawl around on ground without a few drinks, but cache is about being happy Quick find without fully fathoming hint. TFTC boxhill!
Interesting box but have to also report the contents are wet. Unfortunately I did not have any new log sheets to use but did manage to write my name down OK. Great piece of the trail. TFTC
Soon spotted. Had a “moment” hiding here when dog walker threw a ball nearby for “go fetch”.
Thanks
Thanks
Found on a lovely, cold Saturday afternoon. Didn't take too long to find cache thanks to the name and clue of the cache. TFTC
Found it.
A quick morning of caching while the sun still shines. Racing towards #200.
