Thanks FLIPPER&CO for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10383 on 5/10/2024 at 3:50PMAlways good to head of caching especially on a long weekend. I decided to have another go at the bike series. Last time I was out here the river was in flood so I didnt get to venture to the other side. Collecting some OYB today and others that appear along the way.
Found with The Rats, Hoojar and Wilbert67. Another big trip some time in the making to get some good numbers. Plenty of solving and working out final coordinates, packing lists and arranging transport from New South Wales to some of the mallee country of South Australia. As always plenty of laughs and great company. As always a variety of types and hides.Unless otherwise flagged cache found all ok. Thanks for placing these series.TFTC!
Ahh a long weekend caching in South Australia with the Gong Gangsters is way too good an opportunity to pass up. With dates set and leave passes granted we managed a 4-day caching spree - targeting the On ya bike series. The variety of finds was wide and diverse, we travelled with our own totts. Our finds are logged with our Gangster stamp or GG on the smaller logs. Thanks to all the COs who provided us with a great weekend, filled with laughter, banter and much more that cant be said. Thanks to my fellow caching buddies - steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert.TFTC
The temptation of finding nearly 1,000 caches on a road trip in South Australia was proving all too tempting. So a date was set, flights were booked, and a car was hired. The Rats, Steeba, Wilbert67 and I were off to tackle the On Ya Bike series, and surrounding caches. Cache logs were either stamped, or signed GG (Gong Gangsters). We covered a great many kilometres, finding caches and enjoying the scenery. We camped under the stars. We enjoyed cold weather, rain and a winter heat wave. We cached in the dark. We cached in the light. We found some ordinary caches, and some brilliant ones.As is so often the case with our trips, the banter was constant, the jeering persistent, and the company excellent. Mind you, it is a lot easier to listen to Rugby League on the radio in the great State of New South Wales! This boiler-plate log does not take anything away from some of the excellent caches that we found, and I am appreciative of all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining all of these hides. We all ticked over mini Milestones during this trip, but notably I found my 20,000th cache. A Milestone I am very happy to have shared with my mates; mates that I have found thousands of caches with previously. Heres to many more caching adventures!Cheers

Find # 15172Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 3. Early start and had first grab at 0601HZig Zagging around pipeline roads. Tackling some climbs and the corrugations. By 1000H I had finally completed the series West of Swan Reach with a couple others thrown in for good luck ... then it was time to hit the trail back east, go for broke n see what I can achieve for the day. TFTC FLIPPER&CO
Found it on our way to Adelaide. Contents and container were all in good condition. Thanks
Awesome to find an older cache amongst the bunch, and a different sized container too! Great way to break up the new trail that now surrounds this! Thanks for the hide, no worries here! - **On your Bike - Day 2** -**SIGNED AB!***Loci612 / DARKSIDEDAN / Tiz13 / echocage1*Yesterday was a trial run to see what this series was like, and how quickly we might be able to get through it! We managed to pick up almost 1/4 of the caches that day, with extra time in the late afternoon to do some tougher ones as a reward! So we agreed that today we would be able to shoot for 400 in a day if we were more focused on the series itself! It ended up being a 14 hour day of caching starting at 7:30am. That did include one break for dinner at Swab Reach Pub, where we regained our energy and contemplated whether we had met the goal. We came to a conclusion that we potentially miscounted and were a small handful of caches short, so we went back out and picked up some harder ones to round off the total, not finishing until 9:30pm at night! What an epic series, 10 years playing this game and I doubled my previous most in a day, just like that! Huge thanks to SAGEO_5, but mainly to the individual persons involved with this account and setting up this epic series!
While doing the bike trail we come across the odd standalone cache. We don't bypass these as they all count. Stopped for this one to add to our other colour renovate caches. tftc#8275
We are on the way from Brisbane to Adelaide for the MEGA Leapyear 2024. We stop for interesting spots and combining it with finding caches. This was one of them.Tftc Flipper&Co
Late in the day after targeting a nearby series, a few add-on caches were found and very much enjoyed to break up the usual series monotony. Munja and the Seagnoid were partners in crime for today's antics. After completing the enjoyable NVRATHM series, we went onto more of the OYB. This was a great cache at an enjoyable GZ so we took a quick break here. The logs along the way were TJM or MJT or JTM or any combination - we couldnt get the initials right but we kept finding caches and that was all that mattered! TYFTC SL TN LN
When the Seagnoid sent me a message inviting me join him and SkuzzyBear in an attempt to greatly increase his find count, I could not resist the opportunity to do some caching. The plan was, initially, to target the On Your Bike series; using this series to make up most of the required numbers. However, upon suggestion, we decided to begin our efforts by attempting the NVRATHM series. With those caches completed, we made our way to the On Your Bike series. This was one of the few non-Wherigo caches that make up this stretch of road; so, it is worth writing a cache specific log for this find. This proved to be an enjoyable cache at what was an enjoyable ground zero; it was a nice break from the somewhat monotonous nature of the Wherigo series found in this area. The log was signed with the team name TJM, or some variation of these three letters.Find #8780, at 04:52 pmTFTC
Day two (of only two) of solo caching mostly for On Your Bike series of geocaches. We found this cache on Day 3 of our On Your Bike Series Trail. We had 24 geocachers on the hunt today with our half of the group in Team A signing as Vic1. We were teamed up with Muzza, Micaparamedic, BeckNmonts, McLookers, The Pacman, Alansee, Team Crackers, and Maccamob. A great tour of the gradually changing Mallee countryside. A great day of fun and friendship was had by all. Thanks for placing this cache from D & HA B-A

Found by Mary and David. Our third and final day on the "On Your Bike" Wherigo trail with a group of Victorian friends. Once again we were in VIC 1 with Team Crackers, McLookers, The Pacman, Alansee, muzza, BeckNmonts and Rabbitto. We began at the far western cache and cached our way back to the River. Then we found all the ones north of the Stott Highway, a couple of extra high-terrain caches south of the highway, then crossed the river again to finish off the rest of the series south along Netherleigh Road, and back along the highway to Swan Reach to finish off this massive series. Another Trad as a break from the "On Your Bike" series. Our thanks to FLIPPER&CO
Found with a great group of friends on our third and last day here. Signed as VIC1 again today. Day 2 of three. Many thanks to SAGEO.

Out doing the massive geoart nearby and noticed this old cache. This was a definite for me as I love old caches. Found signed, returned and we were back at it again. Thank you for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.
There wasn't too much time for renovating as we were bicycle building with a team of fellow Victorians, the 'B Team' (as per green logging stamp). We just managed to squeeze it in.

Our bike hunting group was a little depleted today with only four of us out together. There was four in another car who headed off in a slightly different direct to us. Funny thing is we met up twice as we cached our way around the area. Any cache containers or logs that needed replacing were replaced. Over all we had a fantastic time today.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 12. The next phase of my journey is underway. I am in Loxton with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Today we left the van park bright and early and began with the ones closest to Loxton. We had an amazing day, managing just over 350 caches and more uses of the ladder than I can easily count. I think this will leave us half a day for tomorrow. We ended the day with the Labs in Swan reach.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.
Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO

25,931. Found with minniek, Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 during our post Christmas / New Year trip over to South Australia and Victoria to tackle the On Your Bike and Paddle Steamer series among many other caches.
Today we started at the Loxton end and headed (mostly) West. All caches were a nice quick find - sometimes using the appropriate TOTT - unless otherwise stated. Signed as FAMSS. This was our longest day.
When minniek and I were in South Australia in January this year (2021) doing the On Your Bike series of (then) 100 Wherigo caches, we were talking to the CO who mentioned that a whole lot more were soon to be published, and they were - 512 more ! So once back home we set about solving all those new ones which was at least something to do during 'stay at home' orders effecting us. Then once they were all solved we planned a trip over to grab them. Then just to add to the fun the latest 152 were published just in time for us to spend time solving them all so we could get the whole set. With our caching friends Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 this series was our main aim, but with the 'Around the World in 81 caches' series, various solved puzzles and the Paddle Steamer as standby if we got the time.
We managed some BIG days caching and finished off the On Your Bike series in three days, then attempted the mammoth 'Around the World in 81 caches' series and some lovely high/rare D/T caches - all in searing summer heat peaking at over 40 degrees ! Once they were finally completed we headed over to the Mildura region for another two blistering hot days doing the Paddle Steamer series. After camping for five nights we finally relented and got hotel rooms for the last two nights and worked the air conditioning to the bone.
All in all an amazingly fun time was had, and we have all made room in our calendars for when the next part of the On Your Bike series is published - no pressure ! Highlights included many of the fun tree climbs, the pole caches which increased our skills at the recovery and replacements of those styled caches, and the relaxed times and banter around the camp site at the end of each tiring day - including New Years Eve !
Thanks to all the COs for contributing their caches to our fun times, and I must apologise for the generic logs as we did find well over one thousand caches which now require logging !

Day 3: SA/Vic Christmas holiday trip
Last Christmas holidays, fitzy_1965 and I (along with two geo-kids, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1) headed to SA to visit family whilst we could, and to collect as many counties and caches as possible along the way. We decided even before getting home that we needed to go back. The added incentive of more On You Bike series sealed the deal. Fast forward through 2021 (because who wants to remember that), and here we are again. This time with extra company in the form of Sol de lune, Smittengranny and albida33.
Today we got up early to try and beat some of the heat (think it must have been over 40 at some point). We also decided to start at the end closest to us so that we weren’t wasting too much time driving when we could be caching. A big day for us with over 350 finds made. As a reward to ourselves, we ended up in Swan Reach for a cold drink and some dinner.
All caches were signed as FAMSS and were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Another quick find with Canberra/Goulburn crew while heading around the On Ya Bike series. No issues here and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed.
Thanks for adding another one to our totals Flipper&Co.....

Out and about caching around the Swan Reach area, targeting the On Your Bike Wherigos and any other odd cache along the way. This cache was one of those found today.

The mob from ACT and Goulburn planned a full on attack today to see how many of the On Your Bike series (and a few extras thrown in for good luck) we could find. It was to be a hot day so we decided to leave early and despite everything we managed to be on the road by 7:30 am.
Off we went away from Loxton towards our goal. There were no DNFs but we did replace some of the caches that were missing and they will have notes added. Having found over 350 caches please excuse the generic logs. This is by far the biggest day ever for me so big thanks to the COs of all caches and to my buddies for their support, encouragement and company.
A great power trail that gave us much success and a huge sense of achievement.
All logs were signed FAMSS for Fitzy_63, Albida33, Minniek, Sol de Lune and Smittengranny.

A second full day of geocaching in SA with Beardman75 and Georode.
Doing a loop to collect some new and fancy caches.
Enjoying our time on the road here, no heavy traffic few cars as well.

Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird. Thanks Flipper&co good to do another of your series.
Found out for drive with allister and friends doing the on your bike wherigo series. All logs stamped as mystery randoms
Out for a day with the JAMS crew ( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, Sir_spectre, the last memeber was busy today ) plus Tallbikestan. Today we targetted the "On your bike " series. Since it was going to be a day of large numbers, 466 caches found we went under the name of " Mystery Randoms " . Today for a change i wasn't the primary tree climber that went to allister w and Tallbikestan. We used a 3.8 meter ladder or a 6.2 meter ladder and sometimes climbed off the top of that, other times it was just free climbing the trees or the use of a extension pole. Some of the pole caches where found on the ground and replaced up the tree, one was even found in the farmer's paddock. We finished the last 10 or so of the 466 under torch light. That leaves me 30 wherigo's for the next trip to finish off.
Another JAMS day out and about grabbing caches. Today we were targetting a powertrail with a difference. This was a challenge for the whole team, lots of tree climbing, a very long day after early start, but we met the challenge and all caches attempted were found. We did our regular maintenance as we went. Today the JAMS were Mystery Randoms as JJ52, Allister W, mogni and sir_spectre were joined by tallbaike stan.

The usual Wednesday wandering for three of the puzzled animals. The Rat and Adder once more met the Starfish at Sedan with the target of finally finishing the OYB series of which we did.
Another great cache to break up the monotony, A hint for the final gathered.
Cache is safe and sound.
Thanks for the effort and cache.

It was that time of the week, for the Befuddled Geo animals to go a caching.
The Adder picked up the Rat and they wandered up to Sedan to collect the starfish.
The trio targeted the OYB series with the view to finish it. Yay we did finish the series
Last cache for the day. A quick find, and gathered the clue.Tftc

Owl was headed off to Swan Reach to join up with Gizmo's Gang and CPWanderer to work on more of the bike series. Good companionship overcame the increasingly vague mood of the trio. The rain held off (mostly) and the good roads (mostly) meant a good tally at the end. It was nice to have a couple of other caches to break the monotony. Thanks!
Today was a special day as we were targeting particular caches with the aim of lifting the number of different D/T ratings found in a day. The ladder work was done by ilook4geo, while lesser terrain ones were good for me. We did achieve a lot in the day and were happy to stamp both names on each log to record our visit. Thanks go to FLIPPER&CO for being a part of the hunt for today.
Had a good day today looking for some needed caches, along with goingplaces2, to fill in some spaces on the D/T grid. Managed to gather a good selection and had a lot of exercise getting to some of them. TFTC.
A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
The group grew from two to six quickly after having a chat to GoodLook about our plans.
Our team “The Mob” now consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers and ourselves and feathertop joined us on day 4. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book.
All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
Day 5 Headed to Swan Reach today to start with the harder terrains on the On Your Bike Series while we were all fresh and still had energy to burn.
With many ToTT's packed we were ready. Little did we know how high we were going to have to go on a few of them. But luckily The Drovers had the master solid ladder to do the trick.
All were easy enough to find as the red tends to stand out. Retrieval on some were more adventurous then others.
Picked this one up along our journey. Quick find at GZ
Thanks for the hide FLIPPER&CO and thanks for the fun "The Mob"

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
Onto day 5 and we decided to make our way to Swan Reach and do the caches West of there first, then make our way back towards Loxton. We picked up a few caches along the way, travelling along the way was GoodLook, The Drovers, LiB, FurfacesLL, FeatherTop and myself.
With a range of tools between all of us (multiple ladders of different lengths, fishing poles of different lengths, stamps, and a variety of other TOTT's), today was a very challenging day. We came across a range of difficult high T caches which involved all teams to work together to retrieve the cache safely. Must say, a few were rather dangerous, especially for anyone trying to attempt them without the appropriate gear. Some of the trees which the caches are attached to are very thin and being the type of tree, they are not very sturdy (some required the ladders to be placed against dead branches which is not very safe) Apologies for the generic logs, after soo many caches, it makes it rather difficult to remember individual caches within a series as large as this. Experiences are remembered, however against which cache they belonged to, no so much lol.
Came across this one whilst we were in the area doing the On Your Bike series, would have been rude to not stop and collect, right? A quick find, stamped and we were on our way again.
Thanks for the hides FLIPPER&CO And thanks to "The Mob" for a trip to remember [^].

All caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop and myself).
This cache was found whilst we were in the area completing the On Your Bike Series and surrounding caches.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".
LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.
We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.
We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree celcius).
A sincere thanks to FLIPPER&CO for placing this cache.
