Stopped by today to have a look had a hint from a previous cacher and it looks like its gone, cheers.
I have previously found this one and was asked to check if it was still in place and I'm afraid to say all that is left is the attachment device.
Seems like it is still missing - or exceptionally well hidden. Geokids spent 15 minutes climbing over every inch of the old fence but the rain meant we will need to come back for this one some time later
Found this in february with captain weather, not sure if it's still there? TFTC
Drove right past on my way to a multi, so decided to have a quick look. I searched for 5 min with cars coming and going, and like the previous two cachers could not find this cache. May need a CO check, or a cacher that can find it...hahaha...Thanx anyway.
No luck here! Must have spent 20 minutes of looking and nothing. Did see a part of a cache used for hanging a cache, thats all.
Cheers

Made a concerted search for about 20mins. Found what appeared to be the remnants of a cache - pen, plastic bag which suggests this may have been muggled.
Anyway an interesting spot and hopefully the next cacher will have better luck.

Nice cache, forgot a pen so our friend's going to drop by to log our names when he can but tftc!
This was a sneaky geocachers fun cache. As I got there and started looking a car drove up and started to drive in they looked and out came the camera lookin' fingo and and face the memorial stone and they happily drove on. So another looky see and then a bus shows up and out step four workers who look wonderingly at the bloke in shorts hangin' outside their work. So out comes the phoney thingy phone and then across to the big billboard and write down stuff. Then I rekon I ain't gonna find the triky little bugger but what OH! there it is.
Thanks Acko
Thanks Acko
Found this one pretty quickly. Great lil hide! TFTC FTF on new log. SL Returned safely to hiding place!
this was the 4th and last cache in the line I went for today.
I was a bit disapointed. I decided to give up at the train to nowhere. it was getting on a bit and I wanted to grab a bite at hungry jacks.
anyway when I got here. my gps wasnt picking up 3 satalites. so it wouldn't work
anyway can you give me a rough location where it is so if it happens again I have a general area to search.

Hey fellow cachers. I have been away for the Christmas new years period. Back today. Will go out tomorrow to restore cache to its former glory. Raainjoy
Checked out cache site today as last note advised of disturbance to the area. Sure enough there has been work done to the old fence and a garden now established. Cache doesnt seem to be around. I will review a new location and have cache updated shortly. Raainjoy
Just went to check this cache out to show a friend. Mamre have put in a new garden and cache seems to be missing. Not sure if it was moved. Didn't look for long though as it was night time.
Thanks for the cache. #14
It's sad that I was the last one to see this cache alive, glad I took a photo of it, just wished I had taken the cache with me.

Nice cache, and a way to remember a prominent influential person who made a difference in the colony. Log is almost full, left spare paper log if you don't get to perform maintenance
A quick find on our way back from a few days break in the mountains and then visiting friends nearby to here.
Thanks,

Nice and easy find. The kids found it and they thought they were pretty awesome! Didn't take/leave anything as I didn't realise it was a swap cache. The blue seals are not camouflaged anymore, though, so it was an easy spot.
Black Bunny, Mr_Roo and I went on a road trip to rescue some poor, imprisoned gnomes from Lithgow. To make the trip a bit more consistently busy, we found a few other caches on the way (and on the way home, too!).
This one was spotted fairly quickly, after we spread out a bit. The cloud cover was mucking the GPSrs about a bit. Thanks, Raainjoy!

Out on a caching run to Lithgow with Just a Cacher and Mr Roo and found this one on the way home. The GPS had us out a bit but widening the search soon had the cache to hand. SL TFTC
Made a quick find with Blackbunny and just a cacher. Was alittle way away from where we got gz TFTC
Great hiding spot took the din bradman coin and left a black band second day seeking second find

A very bold hide indeed! But it's survived and sometimes an obvious and even partly visible hiding place seems to evade the muggles. Who can tell why?
And 'Mamre' was also a very interesting historical spot, which I'd never visited. Unfortunately, being on my way home from work and feeling quite tired, I did little more than read the plaque and gaze across the landscape for a few minutes, trying to imagine what it would have been like here in early 1800s, trying to establish a sheep station under fairly primitive conditions.
I didn't pull out the GPSr and quickly spotted the 'small' cache hiding not far from the front gate.
Container was in good shape and the contents were dry. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to Raainjoy!

Late night trip yielded results! Left two $1 coins. Collected TB. TFTC.
One Stilllookin said to the other stilllookin as we wheeled off the freeway and spotted the sigh for Mamre Homestead, "I bet there is a cache there" and as we got closer the GPS let out its all too familiar telltale Bing. After a quick search the goods were in hand.
Thanks for the cache
Took nothing left nothing.

My son was here tonight for a cub outing, so I took advantage of being in the neighbourhood to find this one. Quick find, of a clever hide. We dropped off the world hiker TB.
As well as finding the cache, we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Absolutely lovely evening to be out cache hunting. But the insects were out in force - can I suggest that anyone looking for this one in the early evening remember the insect repellant, it might make the hunt a little more pleasant for you.

I had check this cache out so many times, and no success. Then today found it within seconds!! I cant believe I didn't see it all the other times. Still a great hiding spot. Took nothing and left Troon Golf pencil. Thanks again Raainjoy!
Made my way out to check on cache. Cache had fallen down on ground, now replaced back in the original location. Cache and log fine. Raainjoy
I was up in Sydney for my oldest nephew's wedding. The reception was held at Mamre Homestead, so before I left home, I checked if there were any caches nearby, and ones that I could do in a suit and tie. Lo and behold, this one showed up at the entrance to the homestead.
How could I resist? I couldn't, and while there was a break in proceedings for some more outdoor photographs, I headed out towards the road for a nice and quick find. Thanks for the history of the place, and for placing a cache so close to where I was going.

Had a nice quick find but stood there longer than needed in the rain as some muggles in a car had parked behind me.
Replaced when they left.

very busy location, muggles everwhere , but parking the car in front we were out of muggle view
Decided to head west and grab a few caches, with quite a few in proximity since I was last out this way. Found a little bit away from where the unit wanted me but it was a reasonably obvious hide. I wonder when it's open?
Left a geocoin, thanks Raainjoy.

Homestead is having a Fair on Sunday 23 May - So there is bunting wrapped around where the cache is hidden. Can't believe staff didn't notice it!! If they did, they have done the right thing and returned it properly!
Took nothing but left a poker chip to boost content selection.
Homestead is lovely and great spot to stop for morning or afternoon tea. They sell plants and vegies too by the way!

Had to wait while a few cars came out the driveway, but after that the WaywardWoman had this one in hand pretty quick. Thanks.
I spotted this one pretty quickly after dodging a few muggles in the near dark leaving the driveway. But as always, its the Bikerbuddy team that wins the cache. TFTC
I was in the area for work and made the detour down to this cache. There were a couple of trucks parked nearby but I used my geo-chariot as cover to make the easy find.
