As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
sry going to have to replace this one

We are on an “Escaping Christmas” and “Geocaching” holiday in Tasmania. We tried to find this one after spending the night at Beauty Point and on our way in to Launceston for New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately we think this one has gone. Using the clue we found that the two big trees between the picnic tables are now actually two big stumps – they have been cut down.
One part of Skullracer1 found this one whilst "the boys" were looking for the other one nearby. The Troublesome Tassie Tour continues.

#604 @ 12.45pm. A nice little area to pull over and find a cache on our Tassie Caching Adventure. Thought we would grab a GCA cache whilst in the area only to find that it has been archived without being archived (claytons??). A lovely day for caching in Tassie.

Straight forward find today - it was actulally well out in the open. So I used a lot of natural camo to make it much harder. Mrs Iamapom was very impressed with the overhanging olive trees over the road. TFTC
Found this micro in the dark on my way past. Would indeed be a lovely spot for picnic on a nice day. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found this on a day of caching in the area to cross a few more off of my list. Nice quick easy find. Had found the previous one that was in this area also.

6th micro for the day. Thanks Flange I seem to have seen a lot of your hides today. Just one more on the journey home I think and it is another of yours. TNLN.
I don't mind a micro when you get a hint like this.
This was about as far north as I could afford to go today given my time contraints.
Time to head inland.

What a lovely spot for a picnic, even so close to the road it was still very peaceful. Unfortunately we had none of the makings for a picnic today so we had to be satisfied with the views and the cache
Thanks FLANGE_1&TRIBE for showing us this location

Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers, at 0915. Would be a great place to eat, drink and relax. Very silvery colours today. Our thanks once more to FLANGE_1&TRIBE.
And our last find during our tour around Tamar Winevalley... as it was raining all day I parked really nearby...TFTC.
A nice easy find near a lovely view. I seem to remember being here before lol. Thanks for the cache
Wish we hadn't already had our lunch, it would have been nice to have a picnic here. Might have to come back sometime!

This was one of the easist weve found. Walked straight to it. Really nice spot with the Vineyard and windmill on the other side of the road.
This was a quick find, thanks to the hint. Odd little place. Thanks, flange_1&tribe.
this one is still high and dry which is more than i can say for some others after the wet winter of 2009. my son and i escaped the house to find a cache or two. TFTC dwhite774 + son
Stopped and enjoyed the sunshine at this nice spot for just a while. An nice easy find but log was fairly wet and soggy. The lid of the micro cannot be secured very well and moisture is getting in. Thanks all the same.
This one had jumped out of its hole and was on the ground wet.
we gathered its contents and put it where we think it come from at GZ a new log sheet may bee needed?

First cache this morning and found easily. Seems as it would be a tranquil spot but there was a lot of noise coming across the river.
Thanks FLANGE_1&TRIBE

How about a picnic ???.....I would just settle for a toilet ....men get it so easy
apart from that this was strangely one of the places I felt I had been to before [?]....but even if I had its worth visiting over and over again anyway (unless you want a toilet).
Thanks FLANGE_1&TRIBE ... I am having a great day caching and the majority of the ones I am doing belong to you so a very big thank you

Found on our way back home

Log is wet, not too sure about the suitability of these containers, they seem to suck moisture in.
Thanks

Oh I loves a picinic, don't you BooBoo ?
This was a great little pit stop to make a sandwich for morning tea and take the weight off my feet while staring at the river

Like I posted in my note for Marion's Eagle (http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga0297), I was a bit surprised when I realised how close this new cache is to the one already at this site.
Even though it's a micro, it is in a cute little hidey-hole, so thanks for the cache. Thanks also for the specific hint, my GPSr was sending me in completely the wrong direction when I started looking.

Earlier in the week, as MullinitOvr & I were chatting about Lottie and I coming up to cache on the weekend, we noted that FLANGE_1&TRIBE was still getting a few more caches out for us to find. As the week progressed, I was amazed to see this had not yet been found. Where's Mad Chilli? What's CraigRat doing letting a FTF go in his back garden?
Then here it was, Friday night, and no one had admitted to finding this one yet. MullinitOvr and I could either have stayed at home an chatted, or headed out to do a bit of caching. First we headed to the shops to get some supplies, and obviously the Northern geocaching spies were out: we bumped into michaels mob. I let him know we were going out caching (I didn't really have an option as he wouldn't have believed anything else of me) but failed to mention we were on a FTF mission. You never know with michael and the mob. . .
So we arrived at GZ on a foggy night, with an almost full moon just peeping through the mists. MullinitOvr even had torches. . .we approached GZ. . .and we gotcha!! An easy FTF sometime after 10 pm!!!
Thank you for the cache.

Well Snuva arrived at my place, we chatted and had some tea - then it was mentioned that no one had logged this find yet. So of course we had to go and check it out. And it was well worth it a FTF, not bad for 10pm at night. Thanks Flange1&Tribe.
