Hi all,
As recent developments in the area make this site now unviable as a cache site, and I have not been able to find a better site in the near vicinity, I'm afraid the cache needs to be archived.
Cheers,
Dan

Hi all,
This one is obviously gone. Environment has changed since cache was installed. I doubt that the site is still viable. Will disable this until I can go out and see if there is a nearby site better suited.

We've found this cache before so we checked to see if it was still there while passing on our bikes, but it wasn't... [?] [?]
Tried to find this one today too without any luck hoping its still there, otherwise we were looking in the wrong area....
Looked for ages.
Is it still there? As there has been very high muggle activity in the area lately.

After visiting Avenue of honor we made a quick diversion to grab this cache.

Found with Ragdoll62. Once again John found the geocache for us.
What a beautiful place, we stayed here for 3 nights and loved it.
Still looking to find a TB to take back to NZ

We were camped here, at Yungaburra, Lake Tinaroo, and were swimming, and going for a little boat ride... found the cache.... it was a beautiful spot, and there was a lake, I went swimming and on the boat. There's a BBQ boat, but it didn't have a BBQ, so we had to have fruit, crackers (spicy, very spicy!), nuts and yummy cookies. Thank you for the cache!

Find #1035 at 18:00 with MissGeosie while camped a couple of hundred metres away on Cycle Queensland 2013.
This one didn't look promising as it was nestled in amongst all the volunteer tents, but at dinner time there weren't many folks around to watch us. I think we were unobserved as we did our thing; a young child, a camera and a scenic view make for wonderful attention diversions
TFTC, Danielc. A beautiful place this is indeed, just perfect to camp for a couple of days and enjoy the surrounds before getting back on our bikes and setting off for the next town!

I liked that you had a message in there for people who stumble on the cache by accident. I walked out with the woofa. Always good fun, thanks :0)
Came to have a look at the avenue of honour and found the cache as we strolled by the lake. Beautiful place.
We stopped along here for our lunch break and were nearly blown away with the chill wind along here. We then drove along the waterfront track and parked about 3m from the cache.
Thanks Danielc.
Thanks Danielc.
Found on our FNQ trip with Gemini7. Quite a few nearby campers at the park.
Thanks for bringing us here Danielc

JT and I went down for a walk along the "Avenue of honour" today a very special place indeed.
We then headed off to find this cache. Getting to be an expert JT took my phone and found the goodies. We left a bass TB in there but the geocoin wasn't to be found. Only muggle around was a grey nomad with her head in a book. So I think we went undetected. Lovely spot to sit for a while.

Dropped by to see the avenue of honour and grabbed this on the way out. Daughter was straight on to this one tftc
The Cache is in good condition.
Visited the new Yungaburra Avenue of Honour. Well worth the visit.
Collected the cache on the way back into town,

This cache was the next detour for Fangsoki and I today as we motored around the region grabbing caches. Luckily as we got near the area was a ghost town - not a muggle to be seen. The use of the area, likely on weekends was evident as the tracks were a bit chewed up. Fang parked the car at a distance, not sure the hire company place would like their shiny black Yaris covered in red mud. We legged it over and found the beast after a quick hunt. I'm sure this place would be nice to visit with a lot more time.. and a tent maybe. TFTC Danielc
This was the next cache Captain Terror and I went for while visiting the area.
We motored toward GZ. I stopped at a distance - as I did not feel like getting the rental car covered in the red mud I saw before me. We hot-footed toward the cache and after a quick search, came up with the goods. It was in good condition. TFTC Danielc

Cache well hidden but coordinates were spot on. Thanks for cache took nothing left nothing. Enjoyed watching the water skiers for a few minutes before continuing on...
Up in the Cairns area for a week and decided to do some caching too! Quick walk and find for this cache on the lake. Lovely area.

Great spot for a cache. It was a wet and windy day so not too many people around. TNLNSL TFTC
The rain had eased so we ventured out again to chase this GZ. A nice hide thanks. TFTC TNLN

While on our trip to Australia, we stopped and found this one along the way. TFTC
Greetings from Wisconsin, USA. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! #18 on our Australian adventure and another by Danielc today while we were following Bosley69 around. A great spot as well, close to Yungabarra where we were staying. Wifeyole took many pictures while I signed the log to make sure the nearby muggles wouldn't notice. Thanks for all the caches!
This was a little tricky as there were some mugglle campers setting up a camp fire near by. We took the Sammy Shark travel tag. Thanks for showing us this spot.
Late on a Sunday afternoon, many of the masses have packed up and gone home, only a few people about so plenty of opportunity to be stealthy for the find. Picked up bee traveller and dropped Sammy the Shark for a rest by the water.
Took 100 find Geocain.. left Girls ring and rubber ball.. log was full so we put a new log in.. TFTC
Found this cache right on dusk, were treated to a super sun-set. Great area. TFTC
We found this one as we were passing through the area. This looks like it would be a great spot to camp some time.
Thanks for the cache

Came out here right at the end of dusk, had an easy find, but a stunning view of the darkening gradients in the so-to-be night sky. Cheers Gav [9121]
Came this way for another regatta so we thought that we'd check up on this one again. It's safe and sound
A nice easy find on a trip through Yungaburra. The third find for this cache in the month of May. Took nothing and left nothing.
Brahms6 found this one. The lake looked beutiful this morning. The GPS led me straight to the cache and a nice quick find. TFTC. TNLNSL
We found this cache today. Because there was no logging for a long period, we were wondering if the cache was still there. The inventory says there must be a geocoin in the cache, but we didn't found one, unfortunately. We saw there has been a logging on the logpaper in december 2010 (not very good readable), Maybe that person / team took the coin ?
We had a nice time on the lake shore. TFTC and greetings from Holland.

Quiet weekend at Yungaburra, drove in, found it and drove out. Took tennis travel bug will move it on and left thong keyring. TFTC, great area.
We found this cache on our way to the nearby caravan park - fortunately as it was a week day and a rather drizzly one at that there werent any people about so retrival of the cache was easy. What a beautiful spot - we feel quite envious of those who own the property on the opposite shores.
Note - we didnt notice a geocoin present but I have a feeling there was a log for early July that isnt listed here.

Last time I was here it was summer and I already decided not to look when driving towards it, way too many muggles hanging around. Today though, with not a single soul in sight it was not a problem at all.

In tinaroo for a rowing regatta. Geo-mum found this one after oldest cache kid had searched for a bit. Took Chinese lucky coin- left hmmm no one could remember when we got back to Yungaburra.
Sunday afternoon and it was muggles galore. Well ..that way you blend in and cache was signed and replaced without anyone taking and notice. TFTC
16.20 - Another beautiful location along the drink. Well done. Ants are building a city @ GZ. +/-0. T4TC.
Nice spot - we spent a lot of time walking in circles - it was easy once we found it
Came by on a busy day but was fortunate that the search area was quiet. A quick grab and time to say farewell to a coin that needs to move on.
Back to look for this one again after aborting the last attempt - too many muggles. Area quiet today so easy find. TNLN
Nice easy find and a great place to camp by the water to put the boat in.
TNLN. Thanks.
TNLN. Thanks.
Fourth find of the day on a weeking caching run onto the tablelands. Had to be very sneaky as a couple of boaties were watching us closely. Found at 10.45am. Took a parachutist, left a penny and a skateboard. TFTC.
Second find for the day and what a nice change from the previous cache we found. Bumblebee located the cache while Ballbag kept watch. The place was a buzz of activity but noone seemed interested in us. To make sure, Ballbag acted like the holiday photograper while Bumblebee signed the log. TNLN. TFTC

The intrepid one decided to tackle this one solo on her way to Craft group this morning and crafty she was as she came home all abuzz with the FTF trophy. Thought about attacking this one last night when it popped up but thought this was the cheaper option. What is this thing with women and multiskilling? Need a good puzzle so I don't feel redundant.

Found after attending a funeral and wake at Topaz.
Thought this one would cheer us up, and it did.
Lovely spot that we have come to in the past.
No muggles around today as it was a little wet.
T: Mini Mini TB
L: Ring, NZ coin and spinning top.
