We were not able to find it. Probably supposed to be under the big rock.

Après plusieurs tour à côté du rocher je ne l'ai pas trouvé. Les pierres ont été bougées et des canettes de bière sont sous le rocher. Le Cache est il encore là??????
Maybe removed by anyone cause like threeskinners we search all around rocks and did not find it! only 2glass bottles of beer.... Empty
I think it was supposed to be under the larger rock, nothing there & many other rocks around it have been turned over by prior visitors. Either we were at the wrong rock or it may have been removed, great place for a visit though!
Find number 100 and a really nice location for it. A nice easy find, after checking out the nearby campground for a future visit. What a nice little lake Lake McGregor is to visit, after all the larger lakes we have been visiting recently. TFTC
Found it. Last one for my time with Doullys family and friends before heading back to Aussie.

Out for a drive with Bugzptr while staying at Lake Tekapo we arrived at Lake McGregor. What a wonderful place to hide a cache. After a short walk the cache was located.

We were in the area so decided to check out another nearby lake. Took pictures but nothing else, left a "kiwimonster was here" pen in the cache. Thank you!
We followed a car along the road.
It is something to do with having been to the Mega event where every one around was a cacher, that i expected them to be cachers to. When they drove past the cache spot I was surprised.

Found with Sam walker's while visiting for the NZ Mega. A great easy off the main road cache. Found quickly while Sam walker's turned around the car TFTC
Another beautiful spot in the region. Never knew about this road. The foliage on the plants and the colour of the water was fantastic. A very peaceful location and another hidden gem uncovered.
Very pretty and scenic out here in the snow. Thanks for the cache. Did with Mycro Man on our NZ MEGA 2012 South Island Trip
Found it.
Very windy.
Late start to the fishing season at Lake McGregor!

After finding Tail of Two Brothers I just couldn't leave this cache unfound. I was surprised by the number of cars using this little road on this windy day - must be good/poor fishing today!
Find #918. The third for the morning. We were up nice and early to knock off a few caches we weren't able to grab the nigh before - this included Mt. John Rock and the nearby earthcache. After this we grabbed some warm drinks and went off down the desolate Godley Peaks Road, which looking at it on Google Maps/Earth, could be easily mistaken for Siberian wasteland!
Thankfully Lake McGregor was more sheltered than Tekapo, so we hopped out to grab the cache, but still had to shelter behind the rock. There were a few campervans in the distance, but luckily no one about. We made it back to the car in time before the rain started falling, and the sky was ominously black off in the distance... Came down here after a drive up Mt John to take in the view. Nice quick find, even though there was a fisherman enjoying the lake not far away. Lovely spot today! Cheers Gav [10131]
This looks like it would be a lovely spot in nice weather. Today though it was very grey and raining while finding this one. The ducks sure liked it on the lake though. Took TB that has been sitting in the cache for months.
Thanks for the hunt Bitsprayer and greetings from Mandurah Western Australia.

A bit quieter and colder than last time I was up here. A bit of bird life on the pond nearby but all looking rather sleepy. TNLN Thanks
Came out to the area to take photographs in the morning light. Pleased to discover there was a cache out this way! Cheers Bitsprayer!
Biked out to lake McGergor via Lake Alexandrina into a head wind all the way but nice tail wind coming back.
Cache in lovely sheltered spot so took a break and sorted out next cache - tftc

A quick find, first on a day's touring around the region. Lake level has dropped a lot so cache is now well out of danger. Signed log, TFTC!
Water about 4 metres away from lapping at the cache's hiding spot!! But it was all good and safe. Beautiful scenic area.

Found while having a lovely boxing day out at Lake Tekapo. If you haven't been up Mt John, you should.
Grab this cache driving by from overnight campsite. TNLN. Thanks and greetings from Latvia!
Found it at 14:37, my 21st of 32 finds on a South Island wander, and my 783rd find.
Quick find today on a sunny but very windy day.

With the fresh snow on the ranges it was just a beautiful and peaceful spot. Nobody around today and the cold southerly was incentive enough for a quick find. TFTC
Good spot, very enjoyable hunt, in the rain ):, was actually logged in the book as "lil_pixie"
Lots of wildlife here, but they didn't seem to worry about us. Found the cache and had a fish but no luck there. TFTC
Went moutainbiking from Tekapo up to this lake and back arouind the shores of Lake Alexandrina. Lovely area. TFTC
Another lake, they are everywhere around here. A quick find for Mr KE while Mr B played photographer. Thanks.
Lots of bugs about here. Quite busy as people starting to set up camp for Easter.Retrieved Travel bug 'Dory'.TFTC
Nipped in this morning and dropped off a fish TB. It would be a nice place to camp but all the best spots were taken up by empty caravans.
Cheers and thanks,

Easy find. Interesting the contrast in colour between this lake and Tekapo. TFTC.
Nice wee lake and enjoyed seeing a bit more of the surrounding area, normally just drive through on the main road.
