Found with Pprime` as part of our Toowoomba adventure.Thankyou for the entertainment here.
Accio 13:25:15A weekend away with T4mmmy and Suki the geo-wonder pup. Bit of some random wonderings around southern Toowoomba today.Found with zero issues of any sort - in the obvious spot. Container was a bit ratty so helped it out, but left the original logbook with it.Thanks Qldwarrior for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12880}*
Another of the beautiful spots we visited and admired on our little adventure for today... I feel like when visiting Toowoomba you almost need a recording of "oh wow, what a beautiful view". Whilst Privatears went direct for the view point, myself and Miss 13, Mr 11 went searching for the cache which was an easy find. Log book was full (sorry didn't have more paper on me). Please don't archive this cache Reviewer.. it is still in play!!!__________________________-Out about today with Privatears + 2 with the goal of heading to Toowoomba to get some highly loved caches. Seems Miss 13 had exceptional caching abilities today as she almost automatically found so many caches today!#879
14 July 2024 12:09pmCassow11ry and myself had planned on a day out today to celebrate something important...as a last minute we had the addition of two geokids who were meant to be away, but weren't. (For some finds, it was good they weren't as Miss 13 had really sharp eagle eyes today!!) We targeted in and around Toowomba.End of copy paste:While Cassow11ry and the kids went straight to business, I was drawn in by the view and wandered towards the edge to admire it. As I was standing there, taking it all in, I heard that all familiar call out that the cache was found. We signed our names and returned it. This one didn't take us long (I spent more time sightseeing, than they did finding).Log book was a little full, but cache in great condition, dry and still in play.TFTC
I was up in Toowoomba for my school reunion last night and after a late night and a late start to the day I finally headed out to find some caches. After finding the nearby challenge cache I continued around Prince Henry Road and stopped to look for this cache. There were a number of couples here today and I already felt out of place being here on my own. I had a quick look at the likely spot and couldn't see anything but I didn't do a thorough search because it would have looked even more strange. I'll leave this one for another time.
Wow ,what a spectacular view from up here. It's very overgrown here now. It's too hard to find anything. We are leaving this smile.
Took time but some clues in previous posts that led me to the find. TFTC A great view
Found with twdocs while on holiday from the UK. Its been over 25 years since we were last here, and its good to see that the area is still as beautiful and unspoiled. Log signed and container replaced as found. NTNL and thanks for placing this one.
In Toowoomba today, so went for a sight seeing drive that involved finding a cache or two.Nice scenic spot. TFTC. TNLN. SL.TB Prado Owl visited.Find # 1737.
We left Brisbane just after we am to meet up with my wife’s friend at a cafe in Toowoomba before heading to lunch at myrtille at crows nest with family who life on land near by.
I had an hour up my sleeve and couldn’t help but pop out and find a few caches whilst coffe and cake were being consumed.
Found a safe spot to park the car and headed to ground zero to claims find. Located the cache and put my name into the log and replaced it safely back into its hiding spot
Returned to the car and leaded off to pick up a few more before a lovely lunch.
A big thanks to the cache owner for placing the cache and making it available to be found.
Cheers

On holidays with alphag_25 from Mackay. After visiting the Japanese gardens and Cobb and Co Museum this morning for a change of pace. Decided to pick up some other types of caches in the area. Found reasonably quickly. Absolutely awesome views. FP for the views. TFTC
Today we went up this way to collect some caches here.

Out and about on a great caching day with Kolour and chamad, we targetted Toowoomba to collect some challenge caches, and other caches which help to complete challenge caches.
After spending the morning walking around Redwood Park, we took a very scenic drive around Prince Henry Drive and stopped to collect the caches over this way.
A quick find here today.
Thanks Qldwarrior for the cache.

I spent the day geocaching with Willis007 and Chamad in Redwood Park and surrounding area. Nice view and a quick find. Tftc
Out caching for the day with Willis007 and Kolour, planning on hitting Redwood forest and the caches in there. Willis007 needed a couple of the challenges in there and I was just happy to go along for the ride / walk. It is such a diverse area and the environment changes so much as you walk around. after our walk we did a few along Prince Henry and then grabbed a few on the way home. It was a fun day with laughs and great conversations.
We did a drive along Prince Henry and found all the caches in this area. a couple took a little extra help and some required the right direction of entry to spot the cache. All were in good condition, we signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for placing it here, very nicely done.

With a work trip for Monday Tuesday Wednesday in Queensland I took the advantage and came up earlier to find caches and visit a few places I haven’t seen before. The day today started in macleay island and ended up in Toowoomba.
22 caches today which was an ok day, with a few great views among them.

July is all about challenges thanks to the latest Georode Monthly Challenge in Brisbane… and Toowoomba is rich in unsigned challenges…
So I assembled a group of willing Brisbanites, and a plan was hatched for today…. A couple withdrew leaving just nikid1 and I to enjoy the glorious weather and environment up here on the range…
Our day is drawing to a close, but a circuit around Prince Henry Heights seemed a great way to finish a really successful day…
A relatively quick find in a beautiful spot… quite the view of my nemesis location, Table Top Mountain…

Staying in Toowoomba for a few days. A lovely winter day so we headed out to find some caches of course. No real surprise but lots of traipsing up and down hills through long grass, quite exhausting for these grey nomads.

Chasing milestone #6000 and we are so close, we could almost smell it. Today a few around Prince Henry Drive caught our attention. What a view this road offers.
Long grass and terrain got the better of us. We did put a lot into the search, but came up empty handed today

Found easily in the little hidey hole. I have a pretty tough life at the moment. Wanted to come after some of the older tba caches. So here I am.
Thank you qldwarrior for placing this cache for me to enjoy!
TFTC. Thought we’d have a bit of trouble but turned out to be an easy find - and NO muggles as it was a cold and windy day. Great for Geo hunting and really clear magnificent views.
Found on afternoon scenic drive with the Family.
Thanks for the Cache qldwarrior.

In my logs of caches along this road, I haven't yet properly mentioned the view. It was probably most spectacular from here, as we had arrived not long before sunset. Perhaps we were getting tired towards the end of the day, but this took far longer than it should have to find this cache. We each took some time looking around and reading the plaque nearby telling of the Colonial history of the area. Eventually I checked somewhere we had both looked at which turned up the goods.

TFTC! There has been a lot of rain lately so there is lots of grass and ants everywhere. Still found the cache and enjoyed a spectacular view.
