Found this morning before heading home. It's been a very nice visit toWbool. TFTC. Not too far from cords at all.
Found it may have been placed wrong as it was near the descption but not at it
We were here about 4 weeks ago when we arrived in Warrnambool. Too much rain at that stage so we decided to leave the caches for later. Today was the day and we hunted for some caches in Warrnambool and this was our 1st find for 2014. Nice spot, so much better when the sun shines . Easy find, TFTC jgc3.
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of mainland Australia.
Today we explored Warrnambool and surrounds using geocaching as our guide. We discovered many hidden gems and this was one of them. Very impressive viewing platform.
Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

Been here lots of times before and seen whales. Not whale season now, so the viewing platform was nice and quiet. Couldn't find the log although we are pretty sure it was the right location and the clue indicated a likely spot.
Found this one with geokids1&4. Geodad managed to make the find. Pleasant morning, good surf which a number of surfers were making the most of. 2 dogs were also playing with the waves as they rolled into shore. TFTC JGC3.
Road trip a few days from Ballarat to Melbourne, via Warrnambool to make a great ocean road! Really nice ride I had a great time! thanks for the cache, Beenasse from France

Waiting for repairs to the caravan - totally shattered the drivers side wheel! Had to put the 22 footer on a truck last night and bring it from Mortlake to Warrnambool. Luckily ABS Auto can fix it today - thanks Tony Frost and team. Quick find on a quiet day. Left you a bronze compass TFTC
Beautiful place. Wouldn't have come here if it weren't for caching since its not whale season and its not advertised.
Chose a dreary day to find this cache, which was a good idea.. because I'd visited this platform a few times during my stay in Warrnambool and it is busy on a nice day! Always enjoy the view from here! TFTC. Noticed the logbook is a bit damp..
Found it and we can't access our old profile so i'm resubmitting the one's we have found. we r getting back into it again now we have 2 Geo Kids so it should be fun!
I found this geocache using the Geocaching Intro App. TFTC! Tax witch had to help me with this was looking at the beams not the posts

Found while waiting for the whales to show. Took Geocoin with Dj Fungus to take on its travels. TFTC
This is our 5th time looking for this cache, as there has been to many muggles. Mum thought we would be there looking for hours, so she let us loose to try and find it. 30secs later we are running back with it under my jumper, and Sharna and Steph running next to me saying "Are you feeling alright. We should get you to a doctor!" Acting like I was sick! TFTC
What a wet day saw a seal. The whales were hiding out if the wind & rain they obviously don't like getting wet either.
When I arrived at GZ, the platform was full of whale watchers (fortunately on the other side of the platform), but alas I found the box open and its contents scattered on the platform. I logged the cache, put the things back and hid it again (where I think the cache is normally hidden?!?). Anyway, TFTC!!!!
As described in my log, it would be great if the owner could take a look at this cache....
Went to warrnambool today to see the whales. After watching some whales, dolphins and a seal for half an hour or so conkyol decided to pull out the phone and try their luck in finding a cache. What would you know but there was supposedly one a mere 2m from where we were standing!! We looked a few times in several bushes whilst the other muggles were whale viewing. Unfortunately to no avail. Don't know if we were looking in the wrong spots or if it has been muggles but will definitely try this one when we come south again. Tftc jgc3
Too many whales, attracting too many muggles. We'll return when their both not here. We did enjoy their escapades though and the whales too.
Happy for this to be find #750. Nice to see so many whales here today. Cache was tucked away well but not exactly where the hint said. TFTC

Nice easy find with hundreds of people enthralled by the three whales frolicking just past the breakers.

Spent far too much time looking where hint said it would be..... Moving along, had success. Was successful with whale spotting too. Thanks for the hide.
We came to find the cache but there were whales in the bay and a lot of people so we couldn't risk the cache being exposed! We'll be back!!
Spent a day running around here after a day spent a bit further west chasing rellies. I nearly gave up oin this one before I finally located it.
Thanks
Thanks
Another cache which I would have been within meters of a million times throughout my life. This beach has given me some of my best waves and to think that before I have paddled out there I was standing so close to a sneaky little cache.
I have also enjoyed many whale watching moments here, both from the platform and "live action" out at sea.
TFTC and TFTH.

Guess this one gets a little crazy during whale season, today all the visitors were on surfboards!!

Always a fovorite spot but the first time I think I have visited in the summer!!!TFTC
I saw no whales.
This is very close to my grandparents house.

What a spot! A shame it's summertime and the whales are elsewhere. Still, the walk along the boardwalk was great.
TFTC!

Beautiful spot, to enjoy the view, sun and find a cache, we were stumped till we checked the 3rd one. TFTC

Geo husband and I were out and about today picking up a few caches around the area. As we pulled up in the carpark we noticed a school bus and growned, but as this was the first cache we had been shown as muggles, we knew exactly where to go and while I provided cover, Geo husband went in for the grab (of the cache ) I signed log, and GH returned container, after leaving a GC in it. Thanks jgc3
Sorry guys, logged the wrong GC into this one, only 1 GC to be found.

On a slow trip to SA but in Warrnambool for a couple of days and this one was on the list and what a impressive viewing area. Only a couple of muggles around today due to the cold weather and the threat of rain that was coming.
Interesting to note that there is an old sofa under the viewing platform as somebody must like a bit of comfort while looking for the whales.
This must be very hard to locate during the season, thanks for bring the ageing Bushfire to this area.
