Logs
I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, NTSTROM, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia
###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by NTSTROM and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Well my whirl wind tour of 5 states in 3 weeks has started and after reaching the SA border and now the NT border it was time to locate a few caches here or there as I won’t be doing that much caching on this trip as I’m with muggle friends.
So after a great few days in Litchfield NP I decided to ditch the other couple but that is for another story.
So a drive up to Darwin and back for the day was called for so 1 I had to pick something up for someone in Melbourne.
And 2 I had a couple of caches earmarked to find.
A nice stroll around the wharf / harbour area and I’m loving the warm weather up here.
Of course I picked up some fresh prawns and oysters for tea.
I was chasing some most northerly caches around Darwin and went for a walk in to here.
Had a good look around and came up with nothing.
Maybe the heat is getting to me.
Thanks NTSTROM TFTC.

Today we walked and walked in Casuarina Coastal Reserve along the many trails, finding Darwin's first 'power' trial and completing it along with some other caches in the reserve. Some caches were easier to find than others, some were in prickly bush areas, others searching amongst the debris. TFTC
Cache no longer an ammo tin, only a small clip seal bag that has holes and the log book is soaking wet. Needs maintenance. See photo attached.
TFTC it's a little worse for wear, recent fire hasnt helped here. Hopefully can locate a suitable new container, or next cacher please bring one in, might need new log too. Didnt have this trip, but if in area again soon, will drop by. Happy caching.
Found on our walk today. Another beautiful location, and although the original hide is not there, thanks to a previous finder for adding a temporary replacement. I think this will need some maintenance in the future in order for it to last.
Pity to see people signing the e-log, all the way along this trail, when their name is in none of the paper logs.
Thanks NTSTROM

On a trip around Australia with the family, out finding some caches this morning in this beautiful area. Quick find here, tftc!
Burnt out. Just a redlector, a snap bag and a half pencil left behind. Rehidden in a rock fire.
#264. The cache is rather exposed after the area was recently burnt I was lucky enough to see literally dozens of black cockatoos. Sensational. TFTC
Found at 9:01:00 AM(t) GAFF1.
I had to back track from CCR014 Home Among the Gum Trees to get to this cache which was some work indeed trying to negotiate around these tracks! Are these MTB tracks competition tracks, because some of the leaps and bends are pretty serious!
Thanks NTSTROM.

Wow the paths are very wet and washed out but no a problem to the elderly Gent Can’t find a W11 though. Tftc.
A short walk at Lee Point but mozzies too ferocious to stay long. Found this one fairly quickly. Was surprised to see such a big cache so close to the track. Second to sign the new logbook. Tftc
Wow, pretty impressive that an ammo can so close to popular walking routes has survived so long! As previously reported, logbook falling into disrepair, so I've dropped a fresh logbook in that should last the wet season. TFTC!
Very hot & sticky most items in Cache effected by moisture. Signed log swaped tickets and replaced as found TFTC.
Cache was completely exposed but with the recent burn, objects to cover it were hard to find.
Found left ‘Tracker The Labrador’ CB9B6V - from Melton Victoria Container could use some TLC...

We traveled through Northern Territory for four weeks. We started the journey in Alice Springs and drove to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and then to Kings Canyon, MacDonnell Ranges, back to Alice Springs, to Devils Marbels, Katherine, Katherine Gorge, Kakadu NP, Litchfield NP and then further on to Darwin. On the way we found some caches. This was one of them. TFTC!
An unserem letzten Abend spazierten wir noch einmal den Strand entlang. Dabei fand ich diese Dose.

EDR & JS 18/05/19, the cache needs a reno, new pad / log especially, the container seems to no longer be keeping out the elements
Pretty barren through here after a hot blaze. Ammo tin has held up well but contents are a little melted. Hidden as well as able
