Muggles on drive up but clear on outward journey.

A wet day today.

We were staying at the Glenn Tanner Camping ground in our camper. It was pouring with rain when we awoke but we heard it was supposed to clear so off we went with my brother in law and his Scottish friends. This was the first find on the way. The rain wasn't too bad at this stage.

Guessed correctly that this cool rock would have a cache! Thanks super cute! Canadian campervanners

Nice place to stop & take in the view. Hiding spot was so obvious that I didn't need the GPS! TFTC.

Akirey and I visited in April and May New Zealand. First we decided to look around on the South Island including Steward Island then we went to the North Island.
All the time we enjoyed our trip. We saw a lot of sweet animals, amazing landscapes and met many nice people.

Also we searched for some caches. This one was one of them.

On our journey to New Zealand, xhead and I travelled to the South and the North Island and to Stewart Island. We had a lot of fun hiking in these great landscapes, viewing a lot of interesting animals and nice peoples. Sometimes a little treasure likes this Cache was crossing our way. Day 112 of "consecutive days with finds". Cache #1187.

We spent 4 nights and 4 days in New Zealand for Easter holiday. We drove from Christchurch to Queenstown, and the view was great. We found 44 caches on the way, and this was the 18th.

We love those roadside lookouts. Nice view! And it's even better if we can find a cache there.

It was a quick and easy found. Signed the log book, and put the cache back.

Love it! Definitely the cutest cache container I've seen so far. Hubby enjoyed the chance for some spectacular photos while I snapped a few shots of the little cache mascot and signed the log.

Heute haben wir bei traumhaft schönem Wetter einen Tagesausflug zum Mt Cook unternommen. Auf der Hinfahrt haben wir an diesem Aussichtspunkt einen kleinen Stop eingelegt und erstmal die herrliche Aussicht auf den Mt Cook genossen. Im Anschluss haben wir fix die Dose gesucht und gefunden. Noch kurz im Logbuch verewigt und weiter ging die Fahrt.

Holidays in New Zealand! We have been looking forward to them for years. We had lots of time to prepare ourselves for a great trip. As geocachers, we also picked out a number of great caches. Armed with a "to-do list" and accidental encounters we were lucky to log many caches. Thank you for placing them and keeping the game go on!

We are taking a 3 week vacation from the UK to tour around New Zealand. Today we are driving from Arrowtown to Mount Cook. Scenery was fantastic and the rumblings of avalanches created quite an atmosphere. The Visitors Centre was very interesting too. All the caches we attempted were nice and straight forward., thanks for setting them up and making our trip to Mount Cook most enjoyable.

Catching up on logging finds from our wonderful 31 days in New Zealand.

Iceman and I found on way out of the park. Soon after, some "muggles" drove up. We soon figured out they were not "muggles." At about the same time, they figured out they did not need to wait for "muggles" to move on. It was fun to meet Mr. and Mrs. Facitman there, trade stories, and trade travel bugs.

Another great view from this roadside stop so we enjoyed it while waiting for the muggle couple to depart but then Mrs Facit noticed the Travel Bugs in their hands and we realised that we all were skirting around each other.

This was really a "drive in" We saw the nice cache directly from the car. No one was around, so I could log my visit. And I put the cache back with a little bit more "cover", but still easy to find.

A very scenic road to Aoraki and we were surprised at how good it is. Today there were busloads of tourists, campers and cars coming and going the whole time. Aoraki must be on every tourists must-see list, it was certainly on ours. TFTC Bitsprayer.

After attending the Mega Event in Christchurch over labour weekend, I made my way down to Mt Cook this afternoon, picking up a few caches along the way. This cute little cache was a quick find on my way past late in the day. TFTC!
