First day out with lemonysquish and family. unfortunately no matter how deep we dug there was nothing to find. Nice bit of landscaping in the street.
Sadly, we couldn't find it. I suspect it might have been muggled because I'm certain we got the right numbers for the final co-ords and we were taken straight to an obvious hiding spot but couldn't find anything. After checking the clue we were even more convinced that we were in the right spot. Our team of eager cachers all confirmed the sopt and couldn't find any sign of it.
Nice bike ride from home to here and along the street. The landscaping of the street is pleasant. TFTC
Found with YuGeo4. It was raining and what I did do, decided to walk this one in the rain just to make sure that I got it right, solved and found quickly after the numbers added up. TFTC TNLNSL (1478)
Drive pass here each day and wondered what the piece of wood was all about. My calculations were out so the clue was a big help. TFTC

Those were very stern looking birds. An enjoyable puzzle to solve, found with Yeetrees. Many thanks for bringing us here.

Needed to escape the office briefly, so popped down here.
The 4 birds I found didn't work (there's one outside 622 which must be wrong, but now I see in another post that there are 5 possibilities to find). So I had a guess, and expanded my search until I (very happily) found it.

PS In the description it says the cache is at E 43 ... S 172 ... which would confuse new cachers.
Learning experience: take pen & paper! Took us a while, tricky one to do first up as we didn't really have the hang of coordinates. Great first experience!
After scratching head initially and the numbers not adding up we realised we had missed a bird. There's actually 5 on the street but we missed one an went too far. After working this out it was an easy find.
Being a chilly day, we drove() and consequently almost missed one bird! So after a double pass we collected all our numbers, did the sums and were right on target with GZ. Annie's favourite bird was the bittern.

Well we managed to turn this one into much more of a puzzle than was required. You fooled us by using proper maths notation, the first time we have done a multi type cache and seen someone use mutliplication correctly. Fooled us completely , so we went and found the cache and then worked out the error of our ways while the kids enjoyed a nearby playground. Thanks for the maths and the cache.
The place has had quite a spruce up since I used to live very near here. It's good to see the council spending a bit to tidy the places up. A pleasant walk in the sun today and all the maths worked so a quick find at the end. TNLN Thanks.
There are an amazing number of little reserves and items of interest in ChCh that the greater muggle population will be missing. Not sure of recent log entries about incorrect numbers and gps accuracy. I found everything absolutely spot on. TFTH. TNLN.
They are a bit stern but very interesting! What a nice street. An easy find in the end. TFTC
Nice street. Our final co-ordinates were a bit out but the clue was very helpful. TFTC
Found the birds, were not sure of the maths so just toook a guess and grabbed the cache.
Thanks Bitsprayer

Another neat little mini-park in Christchurch. But why stern birds? Glad that you put the sum of the house numbers in the description as I found that I had written one down incorrectly. Second Gyargh cache of the day. Those math puzzle caches have made me more keen to find these. But where is I hate math?
Had a go yesterday afternoon after work but turns out I missed one of the birds. Opps. Went back tonight and found the bird I missed. I also think that there is a mistake in numbering Bird A - although the checksum helped me select the incorrect address that makes the sums work Cheers Gav [3820]
I did enjoy this one. How unusual to have a stream in the street. I wonder how the council rationalises this with their swimming pool regulations? Thank you.
A lovely day for a walk along the stream looking at the unusual birds. Yes, they are a bit stern in looking. + Highly Addictive geocoin. - Pehta's Silver Czech Geocoin #3. Thanks for the cache.
An interesting street. Never seen one like this before, so we enjoyed the wee walk. TFTC

Found this lovely wee cache while out caching with my son today, We had a a wee problem with the numbers but got there in the end, Thanks for showing us these interesting sculptures that I hadnt seen before.. Cheers Bo
Very interesting to see amount of landscaping done, nice lil' bird tiles too on driveways. Disagreed with A but lucky had check sum to work with so quickly reworked final at nearby seat. Was going to leave my appropriate bird t/bug but container not quite big enough. - t/bug
An interesting Street. Something was wrong with our calculations but we found it with the clue. TFTC
This was a very enjoyable cache. I was taken to an interesting street design, with unusual plantings and sculptures, a very pleasant wee stroll. And I sighted the cache hiding-place from about 40m away. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1509)
A quick easy find late in the afternoon before attending the event cache that afternoon. The street design is quite unusual.
2523. Just a couple of quick caches to do on the way to the airport! A pleasant walk on a balmy evening. What a great job has been done on the landscaping in this area. Easy find then on our way. Left the Gloria hippo travel bug and took a United World Geocoin. Thanks for the cache. Rodney & Iris.
It has been a productive week bringing my cache count up to 11. Still a newby on the block though! This cache was found with Troodles and Streetwalker NZ. Another joint FTF and another great cache!
FTF with StreetWalkerNZ and fwankiebutwhy? at about 8:30pm. Where was everyone?
We bungled a bit, not realising that the first bird was part of the 4 bird count, and had to go back to check the number.
Great wee outing on a Sunday night - somehow found some new energy after a day out at Ellerslie flower show (which was most enjoyable). Very nice landscaping and sculptures - must go back in daylight to see them better.
Thanks for another great multi.

#636 (FTF 11, with Troodles and Fwankie). Troodles was keen for a dusk excursion to see if we could be FTF. Interesting walk to find the birds, and an easy cache find. Left United World Geocoin. TFTC.
